"ABSTRAK
Ada pola pemberitaan media mengenai kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia yang
mendukung era babak baru perluasan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN/ASEAN
Economic Community (MEA/AEC). Sebagai instansi masyarakat tersendiri, media
harus bersikap objektif ketika dihadapkan pada suatu realita baru. Program MEA
sudah dipersiapkan dalam waktu lama dari tahun 1990 hingga akhirnya disahkan
pada tanggal 31 Desember 2015. Peneliti menganalisis berita dari media online
dalam jangka waktu dari 1 September 2015 sampai dengan 31 Desember 2015.
Penelitian ini menggunakan teori agenda-setting dalam membedah hubungan
antara pola pemberitaan MEA menggunakan analisis isi oleh media online
Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan analisis isi
berita di media online di Tribunnuews.com dan Detik.com. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukan adanya pola pemberitaan media dari agenda-setting dalam media
online dengan dominan isu ekonomi dalam pemberitaan mengenai MEA.

ABSTRACT
There is a pattern of media coverage regarding the Indonesian government
policies that support a new round of expansion era AEC / ASEAN Economic
Community (AEC). As an institution of its own community, the media should
be objective when faced with a new reality. MEA program has been prepared
for a prolonged period of 1990 to finally ratified on December 31, 2015. This
study uses the theory of agenda-setting in dissecting the relationship between
the pattern of MEA reporting using online media content analysis by
Indonesia. This study used quantitative analysis with analysis of news content
in online media in Tribunnuews.com and Detik.com. These results indicate a
pattern of media coverage of the agenda-setting in line with the dominant
media in reporting on economic issues MEA."
