"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah sistem nilai, intemalisasi nilai, dan konf1iI< antar nilai pada individu yang memiiih unmk menjadi wanita simpanan. Penelitian ini mcngacu pada teori Sistem Nilai Schwartz. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif tcrhadap dua orzmg wanita dewasa muda yang menjadi wanita simpanan. Partisipan dipilih secara purposiil dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mctodc wawancara serta observasi partisipatif. Berdasarkan basil penelitian, dikctahui bahwa Iingkungan keluarga, terutama ibu amat berperan dalam intemalisasi nilai, baik melalui moralisasi maupun imitasi. Kcdua partisipan juga melakulcan intemalisasi melalui pemilihan beliqf yang ada., sctclah sebelumnya didahului olch pengalaman subyektif kcdua partisipan. Nilai yang paling berperan pada kedua partisipan adalah nilai Hedonism, dan Power: Kedua nilai ini biasa mcreka jadikan acuan dalam resolusi konflik antar nilai. Kedua partisipan mengalami koni1lk antar nilai yang bcrbeda, tcrkait dengan sistem nilai yng mereka miliki. Kedua partisipan memiliki pemahaman bahwa nilai-nilai tersebut dapat terpenuhi melalui banyaknya materi yang mereka miiiki. Hal-hal ini mempengaruhi individu untuk memilih menjadi wanita simpanan.

The purpose of this research is to discover the value system, value intemalization, and conflict between values in individuals who chooses to become mistresses. The research was based on Value System Theory by Schwartz. The research was conducted qualitatively on 2 young adult woman who chases to become mistresses_ Participants were chosen putjposively, and data was gathered by interview and participant observation method.

According to the results of the research, it is known that famiht, especiallv mother, contributed signyicantly on value internalteation, either by moralization or imitation. One of the value internalizattbns method used by partichtants is choosing among other belief with previous subjective experience. Hedonism and Power seemed to be the two dominant values held by the participants. These values are also used in values conflict resolution. These two particmants are experiencing diferent kind of value conflict, related to their unique value system. From particn:ants‘ point of view, these two dominant values can be jityilled by material sufficiency. These factors aject participants to choose to become mistresses."
