Abstrak :
[Penelitian ini didasari oleh fenomena besarnya kemungkinan seseorang keluar dari perusahaan (turnover) karena faktor uang. Perilaku turnover memiliki dampak negatif bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hubungan antara sikap terhadap uang dan turnover intention pada karyawan. Pengukuran menggunakan alat ukur Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) dan Turnover Intention Scale (Mobley, Horner & Hollingsworth, 1987). Responden berjumlah 117 karyawan yang berlokasi di daerah Jabodetabek yang diperoleh melalui teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis null penelitian diterima (r= .075, p >.05), yang berarti bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap terhadap uang dengan turnover intention. Artinya, uang bukan menjadi alasan utama seseorang berniat untuk keluar dari perusahaan, namun terdapat faktor – faktor penyebab lainnya. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan perusahaan dapat mengevaluasi kembali kepuasan kerja karyawannya untuk mengantisipasi adanya turnover., This study is based on the phenomenon of the great possibility someone came out of the company (turnover) because of money. Turnover behavior has a negative impact on the company. This study aims to gain insight about the relationship between attitudes toward money and employee turnover intention. The measuring instruments of this study are Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) and Turnover Intention Scale (Mobley, Horner & Hollingsworth, 1987). A number of 117 employees located in Jabodetabek area are obtained through accidental sampling technique. The results of this study showed that the null hypothesis is accepted (r = .075, p> .05), which means that there is no significant relationship between attitudes toward money and turnover intention. That means, attitude towards money is not the main reason a person intends to leave the company, but there are other factors. By the implications of this study, company can be expected to re-evaluate their employee job satisfaction in anticipation of their turnover. ]

[Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hubungan antara sikap terhadap uang dan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) berdasarkan status karyawan. Pengukuran sikap terhadap uang menggunakan alat ukur Short Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0.798 dan pengukuran OCB menggunakan OCB Scale (Podsakoff, 1990) dengan koefisien reliabilitas cronbach alpha sebesar 0.875. Responden berjumlah 215 karyawan yang terdiri dari 115 karyawan tetap dan 100 karyawan tidak tetap yang memiliki karakteristik bekerja di perusahaan yang berlokasi di daerah Jabodetabek, dan berusia 21-55 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara sikap terhadap uang dan OCB (r=0.192, p<0.05) pada karyawan tetap, dan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara sikap terhadap uang dan OCB (r=0.214, p<0.05) pada karyawan tidak tetap. Artinya semakin tinggi sikap terhadap uang karyawan maka semakin rendah OCB yang dilakukan., The purpose of study was to find out if there is a correlation between attitude towards money and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Attitude towards money was measured with Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) that has cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.798 and OCB was measured with OCB Scale (Podsakoff, 1990) that cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.875. Respondences were 215 employees, which is 115 permanent employees, and 100 non-permanent employees. Employees working in companies located in Jabodetabek areas and aged 21-55 years old. The result of this study showed that there was a positive significant correlation between attituide towards money and OCB (r=0.192, p<0.05) among permanent employees and there was a positive significant correlation between attitude towards money and OCB (r=0.214, p<0.05) among non-permanent employee. This result means that the higher employee’s attitude towards money is the higher the OCB.]

Pengukuran menggunakan kuesioner Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) dengan koefisien reliabilitas cronbach alpha sebesar 0.893 dan kuesioner Integrity Scale (Schlenker, 2008) dengan koefisien reliabilitas cronbach alpha sebesar 0.854. Partisipan berjumlah 177 karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan di daerah Jabodetabek, memiliki tingkat pendidikan minimal SMA, dan berusia 21-55 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara sikap terhadap uang dan integritas (r = -0.238, p < 0.01), artinya semakin tinggi sikap terhadap uang karyawan maka semakin rendah integritas yang dimilikinya. , The purpose of this study was to find out if there is a correlation between attitude towards money and integrity among employees. The measurements used were Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) that has cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.893 and Integrity Scale (Schlenker, 2008) that has cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.854. [Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sikap terhadap uang dan kebahagiaan pada karyawan. Sikap terhadap uang diukur dengan Money Ethic Scale oleh Tang (1995), α=0,893 dan kebahagiaan diukur dengan Oxford Happiness Questionnaire oleh Hills dan Argyle (2002), α=0,891. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 177 karyawan dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antara sikap terhadap uang dan kebahagiaan pada karyawan (r=0,210, p<0,01). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin positif sikap terhadap uang, maka semakin tinggi pula kebahagiaan pada karyawan. , This study aims to seek the correlation between attitudes toward money and employee happiness. Attitudes toward money is measured with Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995), α=0,893 and happiness is measured with Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (Hills & Argyle, 2002), α=0,891. Data were collected from 177 employees with accidental sampling. The result of this study shows that there is positive significant correlation between attitudes toward money and employee happiness, which is the more positive attitudes toward money of employees, the higher of happiness.]

[Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hubungan antara sikap terhadap uang dan kontrol diri pada karyawan. Pengukuran menggunakan kuesioner Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1995) dan Brief Self Control Scale (Tangney, 2004). Responden penelitian berjumlah 177 karyawan yang diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan negatif antara sikap terhadap uang dan kontrol diri karyawan (r= -0.293, p < 0.01), yang berarti semakin tinggi sikap terhadap uang karyawan, semakin rendah kontrol diri yang dimilikinya. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perusahaan dapat mengetahui cara untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri karyawannya, demi menunjang performa kerja yang lebih baik. ;The purpose of this study was to find out if there is a correlation between attitude towards money and self-control among employees. Abstrak :
Penelitian ini ingin melihat apakah permintaan maaf masih berharga atau tidak dalam konteks transaksi ekonomi. Melihat konteks budaya Indonesia yang sering sekali meminta maaf, bahkan pada hal-hal yang sebetulnya tidak perlu untuk meminta maaf. Lebih jauh lagi penelitian ini ingin membandingkan respon manusia terhadap permohonan maaf pada jumlah besaran uang yang berbeda- beda. Penelitian ini menggunakan game theory untuk menemukan respon mengenai intensi seseorang untuk melanjutkan hubungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tidak lagi menghargai maaf dari ucapan permintaan maaf seseorang, namun yang dilihat adalah usaha yang dilakukan untuk melakukan permintaan maaf seperti memberikan kompensasi uang. Hal ini terlihat dari tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kompensasi uang yang ditambahkan dengan maaf, maupun yang tanpa maaf t(46) = -,907, p>0,05. Selanjutnya juga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara jumlah uang terhadap intensi untuk melanjutkan hubungan F(2,60) = 0,34, p>0,05. ...... The purpose of this research is to examine the value of apology in economic transaction. In Indonesian culture, apology or saying sorry does not always mean the person begging others apology for their mistakes. Instead, they say sorry for non-sense meaning. Furthermore, this research is intended to compare human response to apology in various value of money. Dictator game has been used to reveal the individual intention for preserving interpersonal relationship. Present research suggests that Indonesian count apology in terms of money compensation from their partner. The result between apology along with money compensation and without money compensation is not statistically significant, t(46) = -,907, p>0,05. The result is consistent for various value of money, to intention for preserving interpersonal relationship F(2,60) = 0,34, p>0,05.

Kebahagiaan seharusnya menjadi tujuan akhir dari seluruh aktivitas manusia, termasuk didalamnya aktivitas ekonomi. Namun, dalam banyak kasus, seringkali pertumbuhan tingkat pendapatan tidak serta-merta disertai dengan peningkatan kebahagiaan, sebagaimana termaktub dalam Paradoks Easterlin. Studi ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pendapatan dan kebahagiaan pada ranah analisis perilaku behavioral. Sesuai dengan tujuan tersebut, studi ini menggunakan metode eksperimental sebagai metode pengumpulan data, lalu menggunakan uji-t dan regresi ordered logit sebagai metode analisis data. Hasil studi ini menemukan bahwa tingkat pendapatan absolut merupakan determinan penting dari tingkat kepuasan seseorang akan pendapatannya. Hasil regresi pada studi ini juga mengonfirmasi adanya peranan pendapatan di masa lalu, serta ekspektasi pendapatan di masa sekarang dalam menentukan tingkat kepuasan seseorang akan pendapatannya. Adanya informasi mengenai pendapatan orang lain, baik pendapatan rata-rata maupun pendapatan maksimum, menurunkan kepuasan subyek akan tingkat pendapatannya sendiri. Sementara itu, beberapa karakteristik sosio-ekonomi individu ditemukan signifikan mempengaruhi kepuasan seseorang akan pendapatannya, diantaranya asal fakultas, jenis kelamin, etnis, agama, asal daerah Jabodetabek, latar belakang keluarga, kepedulian seorang individu terhadap pendapat orang lain akan dirinya dan terhadap posisi tingkat pendapatannya, serta jurusan. ......Happiness is what ought to be the purpose of all human activities, including economic activities. However, in many cases, growth in income is not accompanied by growth in happiness levels, as pointed out by Easterlin Paradox. This study was conducted to further analyze existing links between income and happiness in the domain of behavioral analysis. In accordance with that purpose, this study uses experimental method as a method in collecting data. Furthermore, this study uses t test and ordered logit regression as data analysis method. The result of this study finds that absolute income is an important determinant of one rsquo s income satisfaction. Regression results also confirm the role of past income and expectation of current income in determining one rsquo s satisfaction of his her income. Any information on others rsquo income, either their average income or maximum income, is known to decrease ones satisfaction of his her income. In addition, some socio economic characteristics are found to significantly affect ones satisfaction. Those socio economic characteristics include faculty, gender, ethnic, religion, Jabodetabek origins, family economic backgrounds, ones concern for others opinion towards him her and for his relative income standing, and ones major.
