This analysis aims to explain a description of the risk level of ergonomic and the overview of Musculoskeletal disorders on Aircraft Support and Power Services workers at PT GMF AeroAsia Gas Turbine Repair and Overhaul Unit. This research is a quantiative descriptive study with cross sectional aprroach. Quick Exposure Checklist and Nordic Musculoskeletal Quiestionnaire were used as the methodology in this research. For the last 12 months, the result shows that the most frequent Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) complained by the workers are on the neck (87%), right shoulder (87%), upper back (67%), lower back (60%), and right wrist (67%) with variate risk categories starts from medium to high.

Indonesia's vision to become a developed country by 2045 places significant emphasis on infrastructure development as a primary directive. This infrastructure necessitates the deployment of supporting facilities such as hydrants, electrical panels, and others, in compliance with prevailing regulations. Sheet metal manufacturing companies play a crucial role in supplying these products. However, the workers in these companies are susceptible to work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs), which have detrimental effects on their well-being and ultimately impact the overall productivity of the organization. To address this issue, the present study aims to design workstations that mitigate the risk of WMSDs among workers, thereby improving their working postures. Employing a human-centered design methodology, the process commences with a factory assessment to evaluate the initial conditions, followed by ergonomic evaluations based on LBA, OWAS, RULA, PEI, and REBA analysis. Risk factors are identified, and design guidelines are established to reduce the existing risk levels. Digital human modeling is then utilized to identify the initial conditions and simulate the proposed improvements. The results demonstrate that the implemented workstation design improvements effectively reduce the risk of WMSDs. Specifically, the LBA scores decrease by 63-79%, OWAS scores transition from 2 to 3, RULA scores decrease from 7 to 2 and 3, PEI values reduce from an average above 2 to less than ~1, and REBA scores decrease to 2 and 3.

This study highlights the significance of employing a human-centered design approach in addressing work-related musculoskeletal disorders in the sheet metal manufacturing industry."

""The third edition of this convenient pocket guide presents a comprehensive collection of clinical tests for all the major musculoskeletal structures. New tests have been added and existing tests fully revised to include the most practical, relevant, and up-to-date information for the effective evaluation of the musculoskeletal system. The book is organized by body region, with chapters devoted to the spine; shoulder; elbow; wrist, hand, and fingers; hip; knee; and foot and ankle. Each of these chapters opens with a figure depicting range of motion and an algorithm that provides a quick overview of symptoms, tests, imaging, and diagnosis. Additional chapters on posture deficiencies, venous thrombosis, occlusive arterial disease and neurovascular compression syndromes, and disturbances of the central nervous system complete the book. For each clinical test, readers will find a step-by-step description of the procedure, followed by a concise discussion of assessment and possible diagnoses for that test"--Publisher's website."
