Tujuan dari thesis ini adalah untuk study kelayakan bisnis berdasarkan analisa keuangan dan pemasaran di pabrik penghasil resin pada PT. Kansai Paint Indonesia. Dalam rangka untuk memenuhi permintaan dan mengurangi biaya bahan material yang selalu didapat melalui impor dari Thailand dan Jepang, PT. Kansai Paint akan membangun gedung baru yang akan digunakan sebagai pabrik pengolahan resin yang dapat memproduksi resin sekitar 500 ton/bulan. Tesis ini menganalisa keuntungan dan kelayakan bisnis yang didapat dari pembangunan dan ekspansi pabrik baru yang memproduksi resin dengan menggunakan analisa keuangan Payback Period, Profitability Index, Net Present Value, dan Internal Rate Return. Kriteria agar proyek ekspansi ini dapat dilanjutkan apabila NPV bernilai positif, Internal Rate of Return sama dengan nilai Cost of Capital, Proyek ini telah menghasilkan Net Present Value positif sebesar Rp. 3.798.620.000, 00 Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 35%, yang melebihi biaya modal. ......The purpose of this thesis is to analyze feasibility study based on marketing and financial analysis of new factory for resin product at PT. Kansai Paint Indonesia. In order to fulfil the order and to reduce cost for raw material that always imported from Thailand and Japan, PT. Kansai Paint would expanding to build new resin factory to produce for about 500 tons per/month.This thesis examines the profitability in commencing the expansion of new factory for resin product and the feasibility of the business through the use of financial tools namely Payback Period, Profitability Index, Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Criterion for a project to be accepted is where Net Present Value is positive, Internal Rate of Return exceeds the cost of capital and Profitability Index exceeds 1.The project has result positive Net Present Value as Rp. 3.798.620.000, 00 Internal Rate of Return (IRR) as 35 %, which is exceed the cost of capital; Profitability Index exceeding to 1 as 4.15 ; Payback period is 2.11 years which is less than the period of project 10 years. The marketing mix strategy I' used to serve PT. Kansai Paint Indonesia target market by focusing primarily on the buyer that adapted by combination between the 4Ps and 4Cs model, where 4Ps is a product - centric approach while 4Cs is customer- centric approach.

Tesis ini membahas mengenai analisis pembiayaan secara bertahap staged financing yang diberikan oleh perusahaan modal ventura VCF kepada perusahaan startup di Indonesia, apakah benar pemberian pendanaan dilakukan secara bertahap atau tidak, termasuk persyaratan dari VCF ke perusahaan startup untuk dapat memperoleh pendanaan tahap berikutnya. Seiring kesadaran akan pentingnya teknologi meningkat, banyak perusahaan startup di Indonesia yang didirikan. Kebutuhan pendanaan perusahaan ini bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah untuk dipenuhi. Berdasarkan literatur, pendanaan secara bertahap umum dilakukan oleh VCF. Pendanaan pada startup dihadapkan pada adanya informasi asimetris yang tinggi baik terkait dengan masalah seleksi yang berpotensi merugikan maupun masalah moral hazard. VCF yang melakukan investasi pada startup yang potensial perlu mengurangi risiko ini dengan menginvestasikan dana secara bertahap. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam. Unit analisis penelitian ini adalah startup Indonesia yang didanai oleh VCF atau private equity. Objek penelitian berjumlah 6 startup di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa perusahaan startup di Indonesia yang dibiayai oleh VCF atau investor lainnya diberikan pendanaan secara bertahap, atau dikenal dengan istilah staged financing. Selain itu, peneliti juga menemukan bahwa untuk mendapatkan pembiayaan tahap selanjutnya, VCF menetapkan beberapa persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh perusahaan startup yang mereka danai. Persyaratan ini bahkan melibatkan proses audit. ...... This thesis concerns analysis of the staged financing given by Venture Capital firms VCFs to the Indonesian start ups they financed, whether or not the staging exists, including the requirement from VCFs to the start ups in order to get the next stage of financing. As awareness of the importance of technology increased, many Indonesian start ups was established, most of them are technology based companies. These companies needs of funding are not something very easy to met. Funding on start ups encounter high information asymmetric both adverse selection problem as well as moral hazard problem. VCFs investing in potential start ups need to mitigate this risk by gradually invest its fund. Based on the literature, staged financing is widely used by VCFs. This qualitative research run by conducting in depth interviews. The unit of analysis are Indonesian start ups funded by VCFs or private equity fund. Object of analysis are 6 Indonesian startups. We found that Indonesian start ups financed by VCFs or private equity funds are given the fund in stages, or also known as staged financing. We also found that to get the next stage of financing, VCFs set some requirements for start ups they financed to fulfil. These requirements even involve audit process followed strictly.

Skripsi ini meneliti pengaruh modal sosial, publisitas, pengalaman, dan reputasi dari wirausahawan terhadap kesuksesan pendanaan proyek crowdfunding di Emerging Market pada tahun 2011-2016. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa modal sosial dilihat dari dimensi struktural atau jaringan sosial, dimensi relasional dan dimensi kognitif memiliki pengaruh terhadap probabilitas kesuksesan pendanaan proyek crowdfunding. Selain itu wirausahawan yang memiliki publisitas dan pengalaman sukses dari hasil proyek sebelumnya juga terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan pendanaan proyek. Penelitian yang menggunakan data dari enam negara ini juga menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan probabilitas kesuksesan pendanaan di setiap negara. ......This study analyzes the impact of social capital, publicity, experiences, and the reputation of entrepreneur upon the successfulness of crowdfunding project in Emerging Market from 2011 to 2016. This study found that social capital under structural dimension or social network ties, relational dimension and cognitive dimension publicity and prior success experience of entrepreneur are positively significant in influencing the successfulness of crowdfunding project rsquo s probability. This study also shows that there is different probability of success in each country.
