Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mendalam tentang pelaksanaan pengawasan dan pengendalian pimpinan terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Akademi Keperawatan Depkes Dr.Otten Bandung. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan unit analisis meliputi pimpinan struktural, pimpinan fungsional dan kelompok dosen yang keseluruhannya berjumlah 27 orang. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam (WM), diskusi kelompok terarah (DKT) dan kajian dokumen. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa langkah-langkah dasar dalam proses pengawasan dan pengendalian pimpinan, yang meliputi penetapan standar, penilaian atau pengukuran hasil kerja serta tindakan korektif belum dilaksanakan. Disamping itu hal lain yang penting adalah belum adanya penetapan standar pengawasan yang disepakati bersama antara pimpinan dan bawahan, dengan dikoordinir oleh Direklur. lni menunjukkan bahwa belum efektifnya pelaksanaan manajemen di instilusi tersebut yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan pengawasan & pengendalian. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh : 1. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang langkah-langkah dalam proses pengawasan dan pengendalian; 2. Hasil dari pelatihan belum diaplikasi-kan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari; 3. Baru sekitar 30% pimpinan yang mengikuti pelatihan tentang manajemen; dan 4. Kurangnya motivasi serta sikap kepemimpinan dalam melaksanakan pengawasan dan pengendalian. Untuk memberikan hasil kerja yang optimal maka disarankan agar sistem pengawasan dan pengendalian pimpinan secara berjenjang di setiap unit kerja dapat lebih disosialisasikan.
The aim this study was to obtain an in depth information on the implementation of supervision and control of educational operational organized by the management toward at Department of Health's Nursing Academy Dr.Otten, Bandung. The study was descriptive qualitative design with analysis unit consisted of structural, functional management and a group of lectures consisted of 27 people. In depth interviews technique, focus group discussion and documents analysis were used to collect data. The result of the study showed that the basic steps in the process of management in the area of supervision and control consisted of standard determination, work output measurement and evaluation as well as corrective actions, had not been implemented yet. There was another important fact i.e. the absence of supervision standard agreed both by the higher the management and its subordinates which were coordinated by a director. This condition indicated that the implementation of the management at the institution related to supervision and control had not been effective, which were due to: 1. Lack of understanding on the steps of supervision and control process, 2. Outputs of trainings had not been applied in the daily activities, 3. Only 30% of the management had participated the management training program, and 4. Lack of motivation and leadership in carrying out the supervision and control. In order to achieve the optimal performance, it is suggested that the system of supervision and control in each level of management in every unit be more socialized.

The learning process in higher nursing education develops student competences, such as applying standard precautions, in providing professional nursing care. To improve student knowledge and compliance related to standard precautions requires innovation from lecturers in providing appropriate learning methods. Peer-assisted learning (PAL) can enhance the active role of students and improve achievement. The PAL method involves senior students as peer teachers who help junior students. Using a questionnaire as an assessment instrument, this study aimed to determine the effectiveness of PAL on knowledge and compliance in the application of standard precautions in student nurses. This study design was quasi experimental with pre and post assessment and a control group design approach. This research was conducted at the D Hospital in Padang, Indonesia, a hospital where students practice. This study was conducted in June–September 2017 with a sample size of 45. Data analysis using paired t-test showed that the average values of the level of knowledge and skills of students in the application of standard precautions before and after PAL methods differed significantly in the intervention group (p= 0.001). In conclusion, PAL can be applied in the learning process of nursing students to increase student achievement.

Telah terjadi penurunan kinerja perawat di RS Santa Elisabeth Batam dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan semester I tahun 2023. Penurunan kinerja perawat ini dapat menimbulkan dampak yang tidak baik terhadap rumah sakit terutama pada keselamatan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh coaching pada asuhan keperawatan dan komunikasi perawat terhadap kinerja perawat serta dipengaruhi oleh faktor demografi perawat. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif melalui rancangan penelitian quasi experiment dengan pendekatan pre and post control group. Hasil penelitian dengan uji paired sample T test antara kelompok intervensi sebelum coaching dan sesudah coaching adalah 0,000 dan uji paired sample T test antara kelompok kontrol sebelum coaching dan tanpa coaching adalah 0,081. Untuk hasil penelitian dengan uji independent sample T test antara kelompok intervensi setelah coaching dan kelompok kontrol tanpa coaching adalah 0,000. Dengan uji statistik deskriptif pada faktor demografi perawat setelah coaching terhadap kinerja perawat dengan hasil menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna dari jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat pendidikan, lama kerja dan status penikahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah intervensi coaching pada asuhan keperawatan dan komunikasi perawat dapat meningkatkan kinerja perawat. ......There has been a decline in the performance of nurses at Santa Elisabeth Batam Hospital from 2019 to the first semester of 2023. This decline in nurse performance could have an adverse impact on the hospital, especially on patient safety. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of coaching on nursing care and nurse communication on nurse performance and is influenced by nurse demographic factors. The research method is quantitative through a quasi-experimental research design with a pre and post control group approach. The results of research using the paired sample T test between the intervention group before coaching was 0.000 and the paired sample T test between the control group before coaching and without coaching was 0.081. For research results using the independent sample T test between the intervention group after coaching and the control group without coaching was 0.000. With descriptive statistical tests on nurse demographic factors after coaching on nurse performance, the results showed that there were no significant differences in gender, age, education level, length of work and marital status. The conclusion of this research is that coaching interventions in nursing care and nurse communication can improve nurse performance.

Pendahuluan: Preceptorship merupakan suatu proses pendampingan yang diberikan kepada perawat baru untuk mengembangkan keterampilan, yang membutuhkan peran manajer keperawatan dalam memberikan pengarahan berupa supervisi. Saat pelaksanaan terjadi hambatan yang dialami supervisor dalam melaksanakan supervisi, dimana kurangnya waktu dalam melakukan pendampingan dan monitoring. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran pelaksanaan supervisi klinis yang dilakukan kepala ruangan terhadap program preceptorship perawat baru di rumah sakit X Jakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan partisipan berjumlah 8 orang yang ditentukan dari kriteria inklusi dan dibantu oleh key person. Instrumen evaluasi menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan dari transkrip verbatim hingga didapatkan tema – tema. Hasil: Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi enam tema tentang pengalaman kepala ruangan dalam melakukan supervisi program preceptorship dan dijabarkan dalam pembahasan, sebagai berikut: 1) Berharap adanya panduan pelaksanaan supervisi kegiatan preceptorship; 2) Berharap adanya peningkatan mutu pelayanan keperawatan; 3) Berbagai kendala yang dialami dari sisi perawat dan kepala ruangan; 4) Optimalisasi Program Preceptorship; 5) Sadar terhadap peran dan pentingnya pemahaman tentang supervisi; 6) Berharap adanya peningkatan kemampuan preceptor dan preceptee. Kesimpulan: Inti dari enam tema tersebut menjelaskan bahwa pentingnya peran dan dukungan yang diberikan oleh manajer keperawatan dalam pembuatan panduan terkait pelaksaan supervisi kegiatan preceptorship. ......Introduction: Preceptorship is a process of mentoring given to new nurses to develop skills, which requires the role of the nursing manager in providing direction in the form of supervision. During the implementation, supervisors experienced obstacles in carrying out supervision, where there was a lack of time in providing assistance and monitoring. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the implementation of clinical supervision carried out by the head of the ward for the new nurse preceptorship program at hospital X Jakarta. Methods: This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with 8 participants who were determined from the inclusion criteria and assisted by a key person. The evaluation instrument used interview guidelines, observation sheets, and field notes. Data analysis was conducted from verbatim transcripts to obtain themes. Results: This study identified six themes regarding the experience of the head of the room in supervising the preceptorship program and described in the discussion, as follows: 1) Availability of guidelines for the implementation of supervision of preceptorship activities; 2) Expecting an increase in the quality of nursing services; 3) Various obstacles were experienced by nurses and the head of the room; 4) Optimizing the Preceptorship Program; 5) Awareness of the role and importance of understanding supervision; 6) Expecting an increase in the ability of preceptors and preceptees. Conclusion: The core of the six themes explains the importance of the role and support provided by nursing managers in making guidelines regarding the supervision of preceptorship activities.

Ketercapain kompetensi preceptorship dalam pelayanan keperawatan, merupakan ketercapaian yang harus dipenuhi dalam rangka pendampingan perawat baru di Rumah sakit, Banyaknya kompetensi yang dicapai dapat berpotensi timbulnya beban kerja mental yang dialami oleh preceptor pada kegiatan Preseptorship. Metode penelitian ini, menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 167 responden Rumah sakit X Bogor. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji chi-square dengan CI 95%, menunjukan hasil bahwa, terdapat hubungan signifikan antara effort and physical demand (p-value 0.048), temporal demand (p-value 0.005) dan peformance (p-value 0.033), ketercapaian kompetensi perceptorship. Pentingnya manajemen beban kerja mental pada program preceptorship, merupakan upaya dalam mencegah dan menurunkan terjadinya beban kerja mental yang dialami pada kegiatan preceptorship di Rumah sakit. ......The achievement of preceptorship competence in nursing services is an achievement that must be met in the context of assisting new nurses in hospitals. The number of competencies achieved can potentially cause a mental workload experienced by preceptors in Preceptorship activities. This research method used usesa quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Sampling with totalsampling technique with a total sample of 167 respondents Hospital X Bogor. The results of the study using the chi-square test with 95% CI, showed that there was a significant relationship between effort and physical demand (p-value 0.003), temporal demand (p-value 0.031) and performance (p-value 0.011), competency achievement. perceptorship. The importance of mental workload management in the preceptorship program is an effort to prevent and reduce the mental workload experienced in preceptorship activities in hospitals

Penelitian ini bertujuau untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja bidan di desa (bides) dan faktor-falctor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja bidan di desa dalam pelayanan kebidanan program JPKMM di'Kabupaten Aceh Selaian tahun 2007. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan pendekatan kuautitatif dan dianalisa secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh bides yang bertugas di wilayah Aceh Selatan tahun 2007 berjumlah 117 orang dan yang menjadi sampel adalah bides yang sudah bertugas minimal 1 tahun pada bulan Agustus 2006 berjumlah 104 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar kinerja bides dalam pelayanan kebidanan program JPKMM di Kabupaten Aceh Selatan tahun 2007 kurang (56%), Faktor yang dominan berhubungan dengan kinerja adalah pesaing, pembiusan, pengetahuan dan motivasi. Faktor yang tidak berhubungan dengan hides adalah umur, status pernikahan, status kepegawaian, domisili, jumlah desa, sikap, imbalan, kemampuan dan pendidikan. Perlu adanya bememtaan pembinaan kepada bides dan memberikan penghargaan kepada Bidan untuk meningkatkan motivasi bidan di desa dalam melakukan pelayanan kebidanan program JPKMM. ...... This Research aimed to find out the picture of village midwife performance and what factors that related to village midwife performance in midwifery service of program JPKMM in Aceh Selatan District, year 2007. This Research was done by a cross sectional method with quantitative approach and imivariate, `bivarite, multivariate analyzed. The Population was all village midwives in Aceh Selatan District in 2007 amormt to l 17 people and that become sampel was village midwife. Researches Result shows a large part of village midwife performances in midwifery service of program JPKMM in Sub-Province of Aceh Selatan year 2007 less (56%), Dominant Factor relaters to village midwife performance aria: competitor, supervision, knowledge and motivation. Factors which unrelated to village midwife performance are : age, marriage status, employe status, domicile, amount village, attitude, reward, ability and education. Must existence of supervision generalization to village midwife and give reward to village midwife to improve village midwife motivation in conducting service of program midwifery JPKMM.

Bahasa Keperawatan Terstandarisasi atau Standardized Nursing Language (SNL) merupakan komponen penting pada dokumentasi keperawatan. Penerapan SNL pada dokumentasi keperawatan di Indonesia belum optimal disebabkan oleh perbedaan variasi jenis SNL yang digunakan dan karakteristik perawat yang beragam membuat adanya perbedaan persepsi penerapan SNL pada dokumentasi keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, bertujuan meneliti korelasi antara karakteristik perawat dengan persepsi tentang SNL. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan metode consecutive sampling sebanyak 100 perawat dari RSUD X Jakarta Selatan. Instrumen penelitian adalah “Kuesioner Persepsi Perawat tentang SNL” yang dimodifikasi oleh Visya Septiana dengan nilai validitas 0,355 dan nilai realibilitas Cronbach's Alpha 0,929. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson, uji korelasi Spearman dan Independent T-Test. Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan hasil jenjang pendidikan dengan p value 0,041, masa kerja (p value 0,044), tahun kelulusan (p value 0,047) dan pengalaman pelatihan SNL NANDA-I, NIC dan NOC (p value 0,035). Peneliti merekomendasikan upaya peningkatan pendidikan dan pelatihan SNL kepada perawat agar dapat menerapkan SNL dalam dokumentasi keperawatan.
Standardized Nursing Language (SNL) is an important component in nursing documentation. The application of SNL in nursing documentation in Indonesia has not been optimal, due to the various types of SNL used and the various characteristics of nurses which resulting in different perceptions of SNL implementation. This study uses a cross sectional approach to examine the correlation between nurse characteristics and their perceptions about SNL. The sample in this study was taken by consecutive sampling method as many as 100 nurses from Hospital X in South Jakarta. The research instrument used was “The Nurse's Perception of SNL Questionnaire” modified by Visya Septiana with validity rate 0.355 and Cronbach's Alpha rate 0.929. The analysis of this research using the Pearson correlation test, the Spearman correlation test and the Independent T-Test. Bivariate test results showed a significant relationship between the type of education (p value 0.041), years of service (p value 0.044), year of graduation (p value 0.047) and experience of NANDA-I, NIC and NOC training (p value 0.035) with perceptions of SNL as the dependent variable. Researcher recommend efforts to develop the education or training of SNL to nurses.

Anatomi merupakan salah satu bidang ilmu yang fundamental bagi mahasiswa keperawatan. Namun, banyak mahasiswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kurang pada bidang ilmu ini. Pengembangan teknologi simulasi virtual reality sebagai metode pembelajaran menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Penelitian dengan desain pre-experimental ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat motivasi dan kepuasan dengan tingkat pengetahuan menggunakan virtual reality. Sampel penelitian adalah 69 mahasiswa Sarjana Reguler Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2020. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, antara lain Questionnaire of Motivation Dimension to Choose Learning Method using Virtual Reality Simulation, Satisfaction with Simulation Experience Scale, dan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan organ dalam tubuh manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 87% mahasiswa memiliki tingkat motivasi dan 98,6% mahasiswa memiliki tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi. Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat motivasi dan tingkat pengetahuan (p = 0, 830). Selain itu, tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kepuasan dan tingkat pengetahuan (p = 0,070). Virtual reality direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan sebagai metode pembelajaran dalam pendidikan keperawatan. ......Anatomy is a fundamental field for nursing students. However, many students have a low level of knowledge in this field. The development of virtual reality simulation technology as a learning method is one way that can be done to overcome this. This research with pre-experimental design aims to determine the relationship between the level of motivation and satisfaction with the level of knowledge using virtual reality. The research sample was 69 Regular Undergraduate students from the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia class of 2020. The instruments used in this study included the Questionnaire of Motivation Dimension to Choose Learning Method using Virtual Reality Simulation, Satisfaction with Simulation Experience Scale, and a questionnaire on the level of knowledge of organs in human body. The results showed that 87% of students had a high level of motivation and 98.6% of students had a high level of satisfaction. However, there was no significant relationship between the level of motivation and the level of knowledge (p = 0.830). In addition, there is no relationship between the level of satisfaction and the level of knowledge (p = 0.070). Virtual reality is recommended to be developed as a learning method in nursing education.
