"Beban rehabilitasi medis di Indonesia sangat tinggi. Menurut WHO Rehabilitation Need Estimator 2019, 76 juta orang Indonesia memerlukan rehabilitasi. Data Riset Kesehatan Dasar 2018 menunjukkan proporsi disabilitas pada anak 5-17 tahun sebesar 3,3%, dewasa 18-59 tahun sebesar 22%, dan lansia sebesar 2,6%. Terapis Okupasional membantu pemulihan kinerja fungsional pasien agar hidup mandiri.

The burden of medical rehabilitation in Indonesia is very high. According to the WHO Rehabilitation Need Estimator 2019, 76 million Indonesians need rehabilitation. RISKESDAS 2018 results shows that the proportion of disabilities in children 5-17 years is 3.3%, adults 18-59 years is 22%, and the elderly is 2.6%. Occupational Therapists help restore patients' functional performance so they can live independently. This research analyzes the workload of Occupational Therapists using focus group discussions, SISDMK data, 2022 BPJS Health Sample Data, and creates a decision support system for policy. The research results show high workloads in several provinces such as Central Java, Banten, DKI Jakarta, East Kalimantan, DI Yogyakarta, and South Sulawesi. The distribution of Occupational Therapist staff is only in provincial capitals, such as in North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi and North Kalimantan. The gap between the supply and need for occupational therapy services means that the community is not served well. Improvements are needed in six areas: leadership, finance, policy, education, partnerships, and human resource management systems. The Ministry of Education and Culture needs to open occupational therapy study programs at universities or collaborate with the Ministry of Health. Collaboration with local governments to provide scholarships and equal distribution of health workers is expected from the Directorate of Health Manpower Planning."

"Preparing for the Occupational Therapy National Board Exam: 45 Days and Counting is a comprehensive overview for occupational therapy students preparing to take the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam. Containing more than just study questions, this comprehensive review guide is organized by domain areas and each subject is addressed according to the degree it is covered on the NBCOT examination. Corresponding workbook pages include specific references to occupational therapy curricula, enabling additional exploration of content that is challenging or unfamiliar. Also included with each new print copy of the review guide, the companion CD-ROM simulates online testing with multiple choice practice questions, each providing evidence-based rationale for why a particular answer is correct or incorrect.

Hallucinations are sensory perceptions in the absence of external stimuli that can involve sensory modalities. Auditory hallucinations are the most common symptom in patients with schizophrenia, which is about 59%. Impacts on individuals with auditory hallucinations include feeling depressed by the disturbing nature of sounds, becoming angry, depressed, unable to follow daily activities, reduced quality of life, low self-esteem, and poor social and emotional functioning. The purpose of writing this final scientific paper for nurses is to determine the application of scheduled activities with leisure time occupational therapy in patients with sensory disturbances in the perception of auditory hallucinations to reduce auditory hallucinations symptoms. Nursing interventions are carried out by implementing scheduled activities with leisure time occupational therapy, namely flower arrangement. The application of scheduled activity intervention with leisure time occupational therapy in patients with sensory disturbances in perception of auditory hallucinations can reduce symptoms of hallucinations, as seen from the results of the hallucination rating scale for those who get results of 8 during the implementation of scheduled activity interventions and and after scheduled activities with leisure time occupational therapy gets results 1. This scientific study is expected to increase the motivation and creativity of nurses to apply nursing care to patients with auditory hallucinations, especially the implementation of scheduled activities with occupational therapy in order to improve the patient's ability to control hallucinations and decrease signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations.
