"Dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologi, penulisan skripsi ini membahas kehadiran jendela pada Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Indonesia sebagai fenomena, terlepas dari pengaruh pengetahuan lainnya yang berusaha melapisi bahkan menggantikan kehadirannya. Konsep jendela yang diamati juga dibandingkan dengan konsep jendela yang ditawarkan O. F. Bollnow, yang ternyata menghasilkan beberapa perbedaan konsep jendela, terkait faktor konteks tempat jendela tersebut berada dan juga filosofi desain sang arsitek. ......By using phenomenology, this thesis discusses the presence of the windows located at Central Library of Universitas Indonesia as phenomena, apart from any other knowledge or technology that coating or even replacing its presence. The concept of those windows then will be compared to the concept of windows by O. F. Bollnow, which give different result, concerned with context surround the windows and design's philosophy by the architect. "
