ABSTRACT
Penggunaan dan perkembangan dari teknologi telekomunikasi menjadi perhatian utama dalam era ICT ini. Menurut CISCO VNI Mobile 2017, diprediksikan pada tahun 2021 bahwa perangkat yang terhubung ke jaringan data mencapai 11.6 milyar. Dari perangkat tersebut, sebesar 86 merupakan perangkat smartphone. Untuk mengakomodasi hal tersebut, perancangan jaringan seluler butuh dimaksimalkan dengan melakukan pemodelan berdasarkan kondisi geografis. Pemodelan bisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Physical Optic PO untuk pengaruh terhadap refleksi ground dan dinding bangunan. Digunakan pendekatan metode PO near to far field untuk didapatkan waktu komputasi yang lebih cepat. Pemodelan dilakukan untuk mengetahui mengetahui pengaruh ketinggian transmitter dan lebar jalanan terhadap path loss pada kondisi Line of Sight LOS maupun Non Line of Sight NLOS. Pada kondisi LOS didapatkan nilai Path Loss Exponent PLE sebesar 1.9 ndash; 2.2, sedangkan pada kondisi NLOS didapatkan dengan nilai 3.1 ndash; 3.2.
ABSTRACT
The use and development of telecommunication technology is a major concern in this ICT era. According to CISCO VNI Mobile 2017, it is predicted by 2021 that devices connected to data networks reach 11.6 billion. Out of these devices, 86 is a smartphone. To accommodate this, the design of cellular networks needs to be maximized by modeling based on geographical conditions. Modeling of cellular networks can be done by using Physical Optic PO method to influence the effect of ground reflection and wall reflection. The method of near to far field PO is used to obtain faster computation time. Modeling is done to fine out the influence of transmitter height and street width to path loss in Line of Sight LOS and Non Line of Sight NLOS condition. In the LOS condition, Path Loss Exponent PLE is 1.9 ndash 2.2, while NLOS condition is 3.1 ndash 3.2.
