"If there is one value that seems beyond reproach in modernity, it is that of the self and the terms that cluster around it, such as self-esteem, self-confidence and self-respect. It is not clear, however, that all those who invoke the self really know what they are talking about, or that they are all talking about the same thing. "ABSTRAKPada remaja, Psychotic-like experience memiliki asosiasi dengan internalizingproblems. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Psychotic-likeexperience dengan internalizing problems. Metode penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan kuantitatif dengan alat ukur Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire(SDQ) untuk mengukur internalizing problems. Psychotic-like Experiences (PLE)digunakan untuk mengukur kecenderungan psikotik. Partisipan penelitian iniadalah remaja berusia 11-16 tahun yang tinggal di daerah rural di Karawang, JawaBarat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yangsignifikan antara Psychotic-like experience dengan internalizing problems.Sebanyak 7% partisipan (n= 270) memiliki Psychotic-like experience. Penelitianlebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berkontribusi terhadapPsychotic-like experience.

ABSTRACTPsychotic-like experiences have been found to have association withinternalizing problems among adolescents. This research aim to investigate thecorrelation between psychotic-like experiences with internalizing problems.The Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) was used to examineinternalizing problems. Psychotic-like Experiences (PLE) was used to examinepsychotic tendencies. A total 270 adolescents (aged between 11-16 years old)who lives in rural area in Karawang participated in this research. In our study,7% participants reported having more than two symptoms of PLE. The resultshowed that there is no significant correlation between psychotic-likeexperiences with internalizing problems. Further investigation are needed toexamine which factor that give contribution to PLE."
