"The research was itended to determine the rate of Organic Soil Treatment (OST) and the interval of application of Landeto solution or their interaction on the growth of shallots grown in the regosol soil. This research was conducted in the green house of Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture Gadjah Mada University. A Randomized Complete Block Design, employing a factorial treatment was chosen. The first factors was rates of OST, i.e,: 3, 6, 9 and 12 ton ha. The second factors was interval of application of Landeto solution, i.e,: 3, 5 and 7 days. The combination treatments were repeated 3 times. Results of the research showed that; 1) Intermedien between rates of OST at 6 ton ha and interval of application Landeto solution at 5 days, was found in bulb number per hills (29.87 cm2) respectively, 2) Application os OST, at 6 ton ha had a significant effect on the plant fresh weight and the fresh bulb weight, 3) Application of Landeto solution at defferent intervals had no significant effect on all components and crop yield."

"Gangguan muskuloskeletal berada pada peringkat kedua penyakit penyebab disabilitas di dunia menurut WHO. Di Indonesia, pada tahun 2013 prevalensi periode gangguan muskuloskeletal pada kalangan usia 15 tahun ke atas mencapai 24,7%. Berdasarkan penelitian oleh Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kesehatan pada tahun 2013 menunjukkan bahwa pekerjaan dengan prevalensi penderita terkait keluhan muskuloskeletal tertinggi adalah petani. Hal ini dikarenakan pekerjaan yang dilakukan petani memiliki faktor risiko ergonomi utama yaitu tingginya pengulangan aktivitas pekerjaan, penggunaan tenaga yang kuat, dan postur canggung yang berulang dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mengetahui risiko gangguan muskuloskeletal yang mungkin terjadi pada petani saat menanam bawang merah, penelitian ini akan melakukan perekaman postur dan pembuatan virtual human untuk mengetahui nilai RULA dan REBA yang merupakan salah dua metode untuk mengetahui nilai risiko terjadinya gangguan muskuloskeletal. Penilaian ini berdasarkan kelima aktivitas yang dilakukan petani pada saat penanaman bawang merah yang dimulai dari pengolahan tanah, penanaman biji, pemberian pupuk, penyemprotan obat, dan panen. Dari perhitungan tersebut ditemukan nilai RULA dan REBA yang tinggi pada aktivitas menanam biji dan untuk memberikan rekomendasi sebagai bentuk pencegahan dalam terdampak gangguan musculoskeletal bagi petani, dilakukan perancangan dengan menggunakan framework Nigel Cross. Dengan demikian, hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan alat tanam untuk penanaman bawang merah.
Musculoskeletal disorders are ranked second in disability-causing diseases in the world according to WHO. In Indonesia, in 2013 the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders among the age of 15 years and overreached 24.7%. Based on research by the Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kesehatan in 2013 shows that the occupation with the highest prevalence of sufferers related to musculoskeletal complaints is farmers. This is because the work done by farmers has major ergonomic risk factors, namely high repetition of work activities, strong use of force, and repetitive and continuous awkward postures. To determine the risk of musculoskeletal disorders that may occur in farmers when planting shallots, this study will record posture and make virtual humans to determine the score of RULA and REBA which are two methods to determine the risk score of musculoskeletal disorders. This assessment is based on the five activities carried out by farmers at the time of planting shallots starting from tillage, seed planting, fertilizing, drug spraying, and harvesting. From these calculations, it was found that the high value of RULA and REBA is in seed planting activities and to provide recommendations as a form of prevention in the impact of musculoskeletal disorders for farmers, a design was carried out using the Nigel Cross framework. Thus, the result of this study is the design of planting tools for planting shallots."
