"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini mengkaji kegiatan sukarela yang dilakukan lansia di Klinik Lentera Pamulang. Kesukarelawanan yang dilakukan lansia berorientasi pada nilai kristiani yaitu diakonia. Klinik ini mentrasmisikan nilai diakonia kepada sukarelawan melalui peranan tokoh keagamaan dan kegiatan organisasi. Dengan pendekatan etnografi, skripsi ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai diakonia yang disampaikan oleh tokoh keagamaan dan kegiatan organisasi diterima oleh sukarelawan. Penerimaan nilai diakonia turut meningkatkan motivasi sukarelawan melakukan pelayanan sosial kepada masyarakat. Meningkatnya motivasi sukarelawan melakukan pelayanan sosial memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat. Dengan demikian, nilai diakonia merupakan pedoman utama sukarelawan saat menjalankan kesukarelawanan di tengah kehidupan masyarakat

ABSTRACT

This study discussed about volunteerism activities of the older adults in Klinik Lentera, Pamulang. Volunteerism which was conducted by this volunteers have orientation with Christian value called diakonia. This clinic transmitted diakonia value to the volunteers by the role of the spiritual key person and also by the activities of organization. In this study, the ethnography approach showed the diakonia value was transmitted by the spiritual key person and the activities of organization accepted by the volunteers. Diakonia value acceptation increased the volunteers motivation to conduct social services. This motivation gave benefits to the community. Thus, diakonia value became the volunteers guideline to give the social services in the community. "
