"Sekolah Cermat merupakan sebuah gerakan pemuda yang melakukan pembinaan kepada anak jalanan. Awal terbentuknya gerakan ini dari keprihatinan terhadap kondisi anak jalanan yang semakin banyak berkeliaran di Kota Bandung. Dalam menjalankan agenda organisasinya, gerakan pemuda ini menerapkan konsep kewirausahaan sosial untuk melakukan pembinaan kepada anak jalanan. Kewirausahaan sosial merupakan konsep kewirausahaan yang juga menekankan pada pendidikan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam memecahkan berbagai permasalahan sosial yang terjadi Bornstein, 1998 . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan riset tindakan berbasis soft systems methodology. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya tujuh praktik terbaik kewirausahaan sosial di Sekolah Cermat. State of the art dari kajian ini adalah menambahkan sub indikator yaitu menentukan sasaran dan perumusan isu, serta penghapusan indikator Pelestarian Lingkungan. Keberlanjutan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten/Kota di Indonesia, khususnya gerakan pemuda dalam pembinaan anak jalanan melalui pembangunan kewirausahaan sosial.

Sekolah Cermat is a youth movement that conducts guidance to street children. Early formation of this movement from the concern for the condition of street children are increasingly wandering in the city of Bandung. In carrying out its organizational agenda, the youth movement is applying the concept of social entrepreneurship to conduct guidance to street children. Social entrepreneurship is an entrepreneurial concept that emphasizes on education and community empowerment in solving various social problems that occur Bornstein, 1998 . This research uses action research approach based on soft systems methodology. The results show that there are seven best practices of social entrepreneurship at Sekolah Cermat. State of the art of this study is to add sub indicators that determine the target and the formulation of issues, as well as the elimination of indicators of Environmental Conservation. The sustainability of the results of this study is expected to be a reference for Local Government District City in Indonesia, especially the youth movement in street children development through the development of social entrepreneurship"
