Adalah tugas kita sebagai arsitek untuk menggunakan praktik berkelanjutan dan regeneratif demi bumi, hidup kita sekarang dan generasi mendatang.Dengan mensintesis masalah desain dengan nilai-nilai yang etis, berkelanjutan, dan peduli ekologis, menanggapi secara kritis konteks perkotaan dengan strategi desain untuk bangunan yang tanggap terhadap iklim dan sosial, dan menggunakan teknologi dan bahan berkelanjutan dari pendekatan keseluruhan sistem, proposal ini dapat mencapai tujuannya yang akan menjadi tempat kerja mixed-use yang sehat dan berkelanjutan yang memupuk rasa kebersamaan di Bowen Hills. Proposal arsitektur ini dapat menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual dalam masyarakat dengan mempromosikan pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan.

Sustainability has became an urgent issue for people all over the world. The need of being sustainable is important to preserve earth’s ecosystem, resources, and all living organisms that lives on it. It is our duty as architects to use sustainable and regenerative practices for the sake of the earth, our current lives and the future generations.

By synthesizing design issues with ethical, sustainable, and ecologically concerned values, critically responding to the urban context with design strategies for climate and socially responsive buildings, and using sustainable technologies and materials from a whole‐of‐system approach, this proposal could reach its goal of becoming a healthy and sustainable mixed-use workplace that fosters a sense of community of Bowen Hills. This architectural proposal could resolve contextual issues within the community by promoting sustainable growth."

"Selama bertahun-tahun, pelanggan fesyen lebih memperhatikan keberlanjutan sebagai bagian dari CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) perusahaan fesyen. Namun, keberhasilan upaya CSR ini tidak hanya bergantung pada perusahaan fesyen itu sendiri, tetapi juga pada pemangku kepentingan eksternal. Oleh karena itu, tinjauan literatur ini, yang mencakup 75 studi, akan berfokus pada bagaimana pelanggan, pemasok, dan pemerintah, memengaruhi upaya CSR berkelanjutan perusahaan fashion, baik secara individual maupun saling terkait. Dari temuan dari 3 individu pemangku kepentingan eksternal, dibuat kesimpulan tentang bagaimana mereka saling berhubungan. Over the years, fashion customers have put more attention on sustainability as part of fashion firms’ CSR (Corporate social responsibility). However, the success of this CSR effort does not rely solely on the fashion company itself, but also on the external stakeholders. Therefore, this review, which includes 75 studies, will focus on how customers, suppliers, and government, affect fashion companies’ sustainable CSR efforts, both individually and interconnectedly. From the individual findings of the 3 external stakeholders, conclusion about how they are interconnected is made. This review then ended with implications for managers to overcome these problems."

Meminimalisir penggunaan energi menjadi salah satu solusi dalam hal ini. Didukung dengan desain spasial yang sesuai dengan solusi tersebut. Proyek ini mencakup wilayah di Bowen Hills, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia dan komunitas disekitarnya. Metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian. Uptown Park memberikan sebuah solusi dalam menghadapi perubahan iklim dan melibatkan arsitektur keberlanjutan sebagai desain konsep. Sebuah bangunan mixed use yang terdapat taman di dalamnya dapat memecahkan masalah tidak hanya dalam skala global tetapi juga masyarakat sekitar dan penggunanya.

Sustainability has become a hot topic today, supported by significant climate change. This undergraduate thesis aims to explore, develop the concept of sustainable architecture in a mixed-use building, and provide a solution to the current sustainability problems. Minimising energy use is one solution in this case. They are supported by a spatial design that fits the key. The project covers areas in Bowen Hills, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and surrounding communities. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used in the research. Uptown Park provides a solution to climate change and involves sustainability architecture as a design concept. A mixed-use building with a garden inside can solve problems not only on a global scale but also for the surrounding community and its users."

"Pada keadaan lingkungan dunia yang terus berubah tidak menentu, manusia perlu waspada dengan isu global yang sedang terjadi karena hal tersebut berefek langsung pada pola hidup masyarakat sehari hari. Arsitek dan Desainer mencari solusi dalam konteks luas untuk berkontribusi dalam merespons keadaan lingkungan lokal dalam aspek pemeliharaan lingkungan, social dan ekonomi. Ide untuk memulai konsep “sustainability” dari hal tersimpel yang dekat dengan hidup sehari hari adalah konsep “Regenerative Apartment” sebagai bangunan campuran sebagai tempat tinggal dan edukasional. Dengan mengintegrasikan elemen natural dalam arsitektur, diharapkan bisa membuat bangunan tersebut karbon positif dan juga menginspirasi orang luas lewat keindahan alam untuk menjaga kelestariannya. Lewat analisis mendalam dari teori, holistic dan teknologi dari studi kasus, preseden dan observasi langsung, paparan ini akan dipresentasikan lewat diagram sketsa dan aplikasi langsung di tapak.

In a constantly changing environment, people need to aware of current global issues as it affected on people’s life pattern. Corporate social responsibility is closely related to public reporting. Currently, the push for greater corporate accountability along with the demand for greater transparency, some companies are responding to by issuing reports that include the social and environmental impacts of their activities. Disclosure is a theme of modern corporate regulatory systems and involves the provision of information that companies provide to the public in a variety of ways. In relation to this disclosure, the question that is often asked is why should companies report matters relating to social and environmental issues (non-financial material)? What prompted businesses to report this? The aim is to increase transparency and build a basis for sharing information with stakeholders in the future. The implementation of corporate social reporting is an indication of the fact that the old question “is this good for shareholders?” what used to be the company's sole motive for carrying out an activity can no longer be answered separately from consideration of the relevance of cliusal issues related to wider stakeholders."

"ABSTRAKIsu keberlanjutan menyediakan ruang bagi korporasi untuk menciptakan ulang realitas berdasarkan konteks mereka. Melalui retorika, korporasi menyediakan berbagai informasi kepada publiknya untuk mengatasi dan merespon ketidakpastian dan spekulasi atas keberlanjutan sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Pelaporan korporat adalah salah satu bentuk komunikasi strategis untuk secara formal menyampaikan kepentingan, motif dan motivasi korporasi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, ingin mengidentifikasi tema fantasi yang terkandung dalam laporan keberlanjutan; kedua, mengidentifikasi visi retorikal korporasi tentang keberlanjutan bisnis. Berpijak pada paradigma konstruktivis, sebanyak 36 laporan keberlanjutan dari 10 perusahaan pemenang Indonesia Sustainability Report Award periode 2008 hingga 2014 dibedah menggunakan pisau Analisis Tema Fantasi dari Ernest Bormann.Hasil kajian penelitian menemukan tema-tema fantasi yang terkandung dalam laporan keberlanjutan bisa dikenali melalui symbolic cue berupa slogan, semboyan ataupun judul program; prinsip triple bottom line sebagai fantasy type dan Saga dari teladan pendiri bisnis serta kisah sukses dari program kemitraan. Visi Retorikal bersama korporasi tentang keberlanjutan bisnis terbentuk melalui Setting Theme (situasi dramatis keberlanjutan lingkungan dan krisis ekonomi global), Character Theme (perusahaan yang heroik, gurandil (penambang liar) sebagai tokoh jahat, pemerintah sebagai tokoh pendukung), serta Action Theme (aksi-aksi sosial dan penyelamatan lingkungan).

ABSTRACT

Sustainability issues give stage for corporations to re-create reality based on their context. Through the rhetoric, the corporation provides various information to its stakeholders to address and respond to the uncertainty and speculation over the sustainability of the social, economic, and environmental. Corporate reporting is one form of strategic communication to formally convey the interests, motives and corporate motivation.

The purposes of this study are the first, to identify the fantasy theme that contained in the sustainability report; second, identify the corporate rhetorical vision of business sustainability. The constructivist paradigm as perspective, as many as 36 of the 10 corporate sustainability reports Indonesia Sustainability Report Award winners 2008 to 2014 period are analyzed by using Fantasy Theme Analysis of Ernest Bormann.

Results of the research study found the fantasy theme analysis contained in sustainability reports can be identified through the symbolic cue in the form of a slogan, motto or title of the program; triple bottom line principle as a fantasy type and the Saga of business founders as well as the success story of the partnership program. Rhetorical vision corporation about the business sustainability was formed through the Settings Theme (dramatic situation of environmental sustainability and the global economic crisis), Character Theme (company as the hero), gurandil (illegal miners-- as the villain), the government as the supporting character), and Action Theme (social?philantropic action and environmental protection)."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan persepsi masyarakat sekitar dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam mempertahankan keberlanjutan PBBSB. Sebanyak 345 kuisioner disebar kepada sampel masyarakat menggunakan metode simple random sampling dan dilakukan analisis pada variabel lingkungan, ekonomi dan sosial dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif  dan kuantitatif. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengetahui kategori dari pernyataan responden dari masing-masing indikator variabel. Sedangkan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan teknik analisis Struktural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang bertujuan untuk mengukur seberapa signifikan hubungan antara variabel dan indikator.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis jalur dari model persamaan struktural diketahui Persepsi masyarakat dipengaruhi signifikan oleh Faktor Ekonomi dan Faktor Sosial sedangkan faktor lingkungan tidak signifikan mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar kawasan sangat terbantu dan bergantung secara ekonomi dengan adanya kegiatan dari PBBSB. Kedepannya diperlukan pengembangan kegiatan ekonomi dan peningkatan hubungan atau ikatan sosial di dalam kawasan agar masyarakat dapat memerpertahankan keberlanjutan pelestarian budaya Betawi di kawasan PBBSB ini.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the perceptions of the surrounding community and the factors that influence it in maintaining the sustainability of PBBSB. A total of 345 questionnaires were distributed to the community sample using simple random sampling method and carried out analysis on environmental, economic and social variables using descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is used to find out the categories of respondents' statements from each variable indicator. While quantitative analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques which aim to measure how significant the relationship between variables and indicators. Based on the results of path analysis from structural equation models it is known that public perception is significantly influenced by Economic Factors and Social Factors while environmental factors do not significantly influence people`s perceptions. The research findings show that the people living around the area are very helpful and economically dependent on the activities of PBBSB. In the future it is necessary to develop economic activities and increase social relations or ties within the region so that the community can maintain the sustainability of the preservation of Betawi culture in the PBBSB region."

"Tujuan berkelanjutan dunia yang ditargetkan tercapai pada tahun 2030 menuntut seluruh organisasi untuk menerapkan manajemen berkelanjutan. Perwujudan tersebut diukur melalui implementasi Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) sebagai indikator yang mengukur realisasi praktik berkelanjutan. Namun, kinerja ESG Indonesia masih tertinggal di antara negara-negara dunia karena kekayaan alam dan sosialnya yang menjebak organisasi dalam zona nyaman. Industri telekomunikasi Indonesia berperan strategis dalam membangun konektivitas negara, sehingga kinerja ESG sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan investasi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengenalan aktivitas ESG pada karyawan Telkom Indonesia dan XL Axiata dengan melakukan survei online dan wawancara mendalam sebagai bagian dari proses triangulasi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karyawan kedua perusahaan tersebut memiliki pengenalan yang tinggi terhadap praktik ESG. Hasil penelitian ini mengonfirmasi bahwa pengakuan karyawan dengan pemantauan yang efektif berperan penting sebagai penentu kualitas kinerja ESG. Perusahaan telekomunikasi di Indonesia disarankan untuk meningkatkan kinerja ESG melalui pendekatan langsung dalam meningkatkan pengenalan karyawan terhadap praktik ESG. Pemerintah Indonesia dan otoritas pasar modal diharapkan turut mendukung efektifitas penerapan ESG dengan memaksimalkan fungsi pengawasan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan ESG di Indonesia.

The Sustainable Goals, which are targeted to be achieved by 2030, have forced all organizations to implement Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) as the sustainability measurement. However, Indonesia's ESG performance is still lagging due to its status quo, which trapped the organization in a comfort zone. The Indonesian telecommunications industry plays a strategic role in building the nation's connectivity, which relies on ESG performance to gain significant investment. This research aims to understand the ESG activity recognition of Telkom Indonesia and XL Axiata employees by conducting an online survey and in-depth interviews as part of the triangulation process. The result indicates that employees in both companies have a high recognition of ESG practices. This study confirmed that employee recognition with effective monitoring have a significant role in ESG performance. Telecommunication companies in Indonesia are advised to increase ESG performance through a direct approach in increasing employee recognition of ESG practices. Indonesian government and capital market authorities are expected to maximize the supervisory functions to increase ESG compliance in Indonesia."

"Sustainable procurement melalui pengadaan konstruksi memiliki potensi yang cukup besar untuk memajukan strategi keberlanjutan proyek di mana pengadaan produk, peralatan, mesin, dan layanan merupakan aspek penting, terutama di gedung-gedung tinggi. Kurangnya kebijakan dan dukungan dari organisasi untuk penerapan sustainable procurement secara tepat dan jelas. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan pengembangan framework sustainable procurement dengan melihat di negara mana atau perusahaan mana yang sudah menerapkan dan sesuai untuk diimplementasikan di proyek apartemen TOD LRT. Maka metode dalam penelitian ini dengan memvalidasi faktor-faktor kebijakan dan kelembagaan serta menguji hubungan kebijakan dan kelembagaan terhadap sustainable procurement, melalui kuisioner yang akan diolah menggunakan metode PLS-SEM dengan software SmartPLS. Setelah itu, dilakukan benchmarking ke negara atau perusahaan untuk menentukan model framework yang tepat untuk diterapkan di proyek apartemen TOD LRT berdasarkan validasi pakar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai faktor diperoleh pada kebijakan dan kelembagaan sustainable procurement, yang dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan framework. Lalu didapat hubungan antar variabel dimana kebijakan berpengaruh positif terhadap kelembagaan, kebijakan berpengaruh positif terhadap sustainable procurement, dan kelembagaan berpengaruh positif terhadap sustainable procurement. Kemudian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa framework SOP pengadaan yang eksisting di-improve berdasarkan integrasi kebijakan dan kelembagaan yang saling berkorelasi untuk mengembangkan model framework SOP sustainable procurement pada proyek apartemen TOD LRT.

Sustainable procurement through construction procurement has considerable potential to advance project sustainability strategies where the procurement of products, equipment, machinery and services is an important aspect, especially in High-rise buildings. Lack of policies and support from organizations to implement sustainable procurement in a precise and clear manner. One solution that can be done is to develop a sustainable procurement framework by looking at which countries or which companies have implemented it and are suitable for implementation in the TOD LRT apartment project. So the method in this study is to validate policy and institutional factors as well as examine policy and institutional relationships with sustainable procurement, through a questionnaire that will be processed using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS software. After that, benchmarking is carried out to countries or companies to determine the right framework model to be implemented in the TOD LRT apartment project based on expert validation. The results of the research show that various factors are obtained in sustainable procurement policies and institutions, which can become the basis for developing a framework. Then we get the relationship between variables where policies have a positive effect on institutions, policies have a positive effect on sustainable procurement, and institutions have a positive effect on sustainable procurement. Then, this study shows that the existing procurement SOP framework is improved based on the integration of policies and institutions that correlate with each other to develop a sustainable procurement SOP framework model for the TOD LRT apartment project.
