"ABSTRAKProses pengembangan perangkat lunak telah berevolusi menjadi sebuah proses yang besar dan kompleks. Sebuah perangkat lunak diharapkan dapat terintegrasi dengan perangkat lunak lainnya ataupun perangkat keras. Sebuah perangkat lunak juga dituntut untuk dapat memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan penggunanya. Hal - hal tersebut membuat proses pengembangan perangkat lunak menjadi sebuah proyek kompleks yang tidak lagi dapat dilakukan secara individual, melainkan diperlukan sebuah tim kerja dengan tahapan kerja yang rapi dan terstruktur serta terkoordinasi antara satu anggota tim dengan lainnya. PT XYZ adalah perusahaan teknologi informasi dengan spesialisasi pengembangan internet banking. PT XYZ tidaklah sendirian dalam bidang usaha tersebut, banyak kompetitor yang selalu bersaing untuk meraih konsumen yang terbatas. Untuk mempertahankan dan menambah kliennya, PT XYZ perlu meningkatkan kualitasnya terus menerus. Peningkatan kualitas pada PT XYZ dilakukan dengan cara implementasi praktik ndash; praktik terbaik berdasarkan CMMI ndash; Dev. CMMI merupakan kerangka kerja yang besar dan kompleks, perusahaan perlu menggunakan CMMI Roadmap sebagai panduan untuk memulai implementasi CMMI. Pemilihan roadmap yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan PT XYZ berdasarkan kesesuaian tujuan perusahaan dengan tujuan roadmap dan permasalahan perusahaan dengan permasalahan yang dapat diatasi oleh roadmap. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi ndash; rekomendasi yang dapat membimbing PT XYZ meningkatkan kualitas perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan. Semua rekomendasi akan berdasarkan pada CMMI ndash; Dev. Lebih lanjut, rekomendasi - rekomendasi tersebut juga akan disesuaikan kembali dengan metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak perusahaan dan ditambah dengan solusi dari permasalahan yang umum dihadapi dalam implementasi CMMI.

ABSTRACTSoftware development has evolved into a big and complex process. Nowadays every software is expected to be able to integrate smoothly with other software or hardware. Furthermore, a single software is expected to perform many functions that can satisfy the needs of its users. These demands have made the software development process becomes complex and no longer viable to be done individually, software development now requires a well coordinated team with structured work process. PT XYZ is a company that specialized in internet banking. PT XYZ is not alone in Indonesia rsquo s internet banking industry, there are a lot of competitors who are ready to fight in the tight market of internet banking software. To be able to retain its client while gaining new customer, PT XYZ will need to constantly improve its software quality. To increase its software quality, the company need to implement recommendations from CMMI Dev. Since CMMI itself is a huge framework, the company must choose the starting point of CMMI implementation by using CMMI Roadmap. PT XYZ need to identify the company rsquo s objectives and its problems to choose the most suitable CMMI Roadmap. The result of this research is a recommendation that can lead to an improvement in software quality. The recommendation is based on CMMI ndash Dev as per process areas in the chosen CMMI Roadmap. The recommendation is then re adjusted by the company rsquo s current SDLC and then added with the solution to the most common inhibitor factor of CMMI implementation, resulting in a final recommendation that can be implemented by PT XYZ to improve its software quality."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana anggota organisasi birokrasi berinteraksi pada Whatsapp group chat berdasarkan konsep rhetorical sensitivity sensitivitas retorik, serta kaitannya dengan konteks birokrasi di Indonesia. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah post-positivism dengan metode penelitian netnografi pada teks grup WhatsApp salah satu unit kerja di Kementerian Pariwisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam berinteraksi pada grup WhatsApp, tiap-tiap individu akan menampilkan satu dari tiga gaya sensitivitas retorik rhetorical sensitive, noble self atau rhetorical reflector ketika mereka dihadapkan pada satu situasi komunikasi atau arah komunikasi organisasi tertentu Edie Paulson, 1986. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa WhatsApp group chat berpotensi mempersingkat alur komunikasi birokrasi, namun enkulturasi budaya instansi pemerintah yang sudah mengakar tidak serta merta hilang dengan hadirnya komunikasi bermediasi teknologi dalam organisasi birokrasi.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine how members of bureaucracy organization interact in WhatsApp group chat based on the rhetorical sensitivity concept, and how it relates to the Indonesian bureaucracy context. It observed the WhatsApp group chat of one of the working units in the Ministry of Tourism under the post positivism paradigm with netnography as the research methodology. The result shows that each members of the WhatsApp group chat tend to performs one out of three rhetorical style ndash the rhetorical sensitive, noble self or rhetorical reflector ndash when faced with particular communication situation or certain organizational communication flow Eddie Paulson, 1986. Other finding also shows that WhatsApp group chat is potential to shorten the bureaucracy communication flow however the enculturation of bureaucratic culture which have been rooted over a very long period of time within the government office would not be easily shifted with the presence of the technology mediated communication in this bureaucratic organization."
