"Tuberkulosis yang resisten terhdap obat merupakan ancaman bagi pengobatan dan pencegahan kasus tuberkulosis, sehingga masih menjadi perhatian utama pada sektor kesehatan di seluruh dunia. Indonesia menempati posisi keempat negara dengan insidensi TB MDR terbanyak di dunia yaitu mancapai 32.000 kasus di tahun 2016. TB MDR dapat terjadi karena beberapa sebab yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh gagal pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko TB MDR dengan riwayat gagal terapi di RSUP Persahabatan periode 2016-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang dan melibatkan 80 subjek dengan rincian 40 subjek berasal dari poli TB MDR dan 40 subjek berasal dari poli paru. Hasil analisis bivariat dan multivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan (tidak sekolah dan SD) dengan kejadian gagal terapi TB (p=0,016 ; OR= 9,552 ; 95% CI= 1,531 – 59,610). ......Drug-resistant tuberculosis is a threat to the treatment and prevention of tuberculosis cases, so it is still a major concern in the health sector throughout the world. Indonesia ranks fourth in the world with the highest incidence of MDR TB, reaching 32,000 cases in 2016. MDR TB can occur due to several reasons, one of reason is caused by treatment failure. This study aims to determine the risk factors for MDR TB with a history of treatment failure in RSUP Persahabatan for the period of 2016-2018. This study is a cross-sectional study and involved 80 subjects with details of 40 subjects from poly MDR TB and 40 subjects from pulmonary poly. The results of bivariate and multivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of education (not in school and elementary school) with TB treatment failure (p = 0.016; OR = 9.552; 95% CI = 1.531 - 59.610)."
