"Laporan ini menjelaskan mengenai pengembangan sebuah sistem penjejak kendaraan (Vehicle Tracking System) pada perangkat mobile berbasis GPS yang diberi nama InTrack. Sistem ini memiliki fungsi utama untuk menunjukkan jalur yang telah dilalui oleh pengguna sistem. Adapun fitur-fitur yang dimiliki sistem ini selain sebagai penunjuk jalan yang telah dilalui, juga dapat menunjukkan arah tujuan, menandai waypoint tertentu, memberitahu kecepatan, menyimpan data perjalanan, menyimpan data kualitas jalan.Dalam mengembangkan sistem ini, kelompok kami menggunakan metodologi Unified Process dan melakukan pemodelan berorientasikan Object dengan UML (Unified Modelling Language). Pada implementasinya, sistem ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan programming tools AppForge? mobileVB yang diintegrasikan pada Microsoft? Visual Basic 6. Pada awal deployment dilakukan pada PDA jenis PocketPC (mengunakan sistem operasi Windows Pocket PC).Proyek mahasiswa ini diharapkan mampu mamberikan pengetahuan baru mahasiswa, terutama pengetahuan dalam penguasaan tehnologi khususnya tehnologi pada perangkat mobile. Hasil dari proyek mahasiswa ini berupa aplikasi pada PDA yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menterjemahkan input yang diperoleh dari GPS receiver menjadi informasi yang menunjukkan posisi keberadaan pengguna sistem, posisi pengguna digambarkan dalam bentuk titik-titik yang digambarkan pada kanvas yang kemudian membentuk garis-garis track perjalanan yang telah dilalui oleh pengguna."

"Pemodelan adalah salah satu proses awal dalam pengembangan suatu aplikasi atau produk. Tahap ini dilakukan untuk meminimalkan kesalahan pada produk akhir. Salah satu metode pemodelan berorientasi objek yang banyak digunakan adalah pemodelan UML (Unified Modeling Language). Dalam UML suatu sistem dipandang sebagai kumpulan objek yang memiliki atribut dan method. SystemC adalah bahasa perancangan perangkat keras yang berbasis C++. SystemC merupakan sebuah library yang mendefinisikan tipe-tipe komponen perangkat keras. Dalam pemodelan bersama perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, UML dan SystemC memiliki kemampuan yang sama. Pada paper ini dilakukan analisis proses transformasi dari pemodelan berorientasi objek dengan UML dan implementasi dengan menggunakan SystemC. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses transformasi UML-SystemC dapat dilakukan karena keduanya memiliki nature yang sama sebagai lingkungan yang dapat merancang bersama hardware dan software. Perangkat yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah Rational Rose dan SystemC.

AbstractModeling is one of the first process in the development of an application or product. This phase is done to minimize errors in the final product. One method in object-oriented modeling that is widely used is UML (Unified Modeling Language). In UML a system is seen as a collection of objects that have attributes and methods. SystemC is a hardware design language based on C++. SystemC is a library that defines the types of hardware components. In a joint modeling of hardware and software, UML and SystemC have similar capabilities. In this paper, researchers analyzed the transformation of object-oriented modeling with UML and the implementation by using SystemC. The results shows that the transformation process of UML-SystemC can be done because both have the same nature as the environment that can design both hardware and software. The device used for this study is the Rational Rose and SystemC."

Indonesia government through Trading Department, especially in Direktorat Bina Usaha (Binus), have made some terms and rules that have to obey for all trading company to get their registration as an Agency / a Distributor. The output that signing the registered as an Agency / a Distributor is Surat Tanda Pendaftaran (STP) certificate letter.Direktorat Binus has plans using information system application that can handle whole Agency registration request process, that they call it SIAGA, for increasing their share information service to citizen and also make their jobs more efficiently and effectively.Researching process that do in this article adopted from requirement engineering activity model starting from: requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and negotiation, requirements documentation, requirements validation, and finishing with creating an agreed requirements.Having SIAGA result that suit with user's expectation and user's needs can be realized with having the right research procedure about requirement specification analysis. At the end of whole analysis activities, the whole analysis results have to documented properly. At this research, the SIAGA requirement specification analysis procedure adopted Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology. This research result hopefully can help the development team to build SIAGA, or at least can make them easily to build the system."
