"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mempelajari posisi perempuan adat yang sumber penghidupannya dari lahan sumber pangan dalam menghadapi berbagai persoalan pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan. Kasepuhan Pasir Eurih merupakan masyarakat adat yang telah mendapatkan pengakuan resmi atas hutan adat di wilayah adat mereka pada Maret 2019 melalui Keputusan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia (KLHK) dengan Nomor: SK.1547/MENLHK-PSKL/KUM.1/2/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan perspektif feminis dan menggunakan pendekatan ekologi politik feminis yang dikembangkan oleh Rebecca Elmhirst sebagai kerangka teori. Melalui pendekatan tersebut, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa relasi kuasa di berbagai tingkatan di Kasepuhan Pasir Eurih mempengaruhi bagaimana pengetahuan perempuan adat atas sumber pangan dan pengelolaan lahan sumber pangan diproduksi, dipertahankan dan diperebutkan oleh berbagai pihak. Proses konstruksi pengetahuan atas pangan menjadi penentu bagaimana para perempuan adat merespon dan menegosiasikan akses dan kontrol atas lahan sumber pangannya. Proses negosiasi atas lahan sumber pangan terkait dengan ancaman atas tanaman pangan yang menimbulkan dilema produksi pangan. Selain itu, perempuan adat Kasepuhan Pasir Eurih juga menghadapi dilema hutan adat akibat pilihan tanaman komersial yang dipilih kaum laki-laki untuk ditanam di hutan adat. Pilihan kaum laki-laki tersebut didukung oleh lembaga pendamping komunitas tersebut. Di satu sisi para perempuan berpendapat bahwa tanaman komersial tersebut mengancam keberadaan tanaman pangan liar. Namun di sisi lain mereka juga membutuhkan uang tunai. Situasi ini menunjukkan posisi perempuan adat dalam perkembangan konsep dan praktik ekonomi masyarakat adat yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aktor dalam interkoneksi skala, yakni skala negara, skala komunitas dan skala lembaga pendamping. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan dimensi gender dalam proses-proses ketegangan terkait pengelolaan hutan adat dan hubungannya dengan produksi pangan berbasis gender.

ABSTRACTThis research studied the position of indigenous women whose livelihood from food source land face various problem about foor needs. Kasepuhan Pasir Eurih is indigenous people who have received official determination of customary forest in their territories in March 2019 by Decree of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia (Number: SK.1547/MENLHK-PSKL/KUM.1/2/2019). This research use qualitative approach with feminist perspective and adopt feminist political ecology theory by Rebecca Elmhirst. By that approach, this research shows that power relation occur at various level of life in Kasepuhan Pasir Eurih. The power relation at various scale influence how indigenous womens knowledge about food sources and management of food are produced, employed and contested by various actors. The process of constructing indigenous womens knowledge of food determines how indigenous women respond and negotiate access and control of their food source land. The negotiation process about food source land has an impact on the threat to food crops which creates a dilemma of food production. The other thing is that indigenous women face dilemma of customary forest. The dilemma of customary forest is cause the choise of commercial plants that chosen by men. Their choice was supported by the accompanying intitution in their community. Because of that, indigenous women argued that these commercial plants threatened the existence of wild food plants. But, on the other hand, indigenous women also need money/cash. So, this situation shows the position of indigenous women in the development of the concepts and practies of indigenous economy who are influenced by various actors in the interconnection of the scale (community scale and accompanying intitution scale). The research also revealed the gender dimension in the tension process of the management of customary forest and the relationship to gendered food production."
