"ABSTRAK<>br>Studi ini membahas mengenai psikedelik di Indonesia yang dalam beberapa tahun belakangan ini menjadi sebuah scene tersendiri. Fenomena hippies yang terjadi di Amerika dan menular ke Indonesia setengah abad silam kini mulai bangkit kembali. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, Flower Generation pun membaur mengikuti tren yang ada saat ini. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif. Studi ini berusaha menggambarkan bagaimana peran anak muda dalam membangkitkan kembali scene psikedelik dan kaitannya dengan musik mainstream serta representasi psikedelik sebagai sebuah karya seni bagi penggiat maupun penikmat.

ABSTRACT<>br>This study discusses about psychedelic in Indonesia which in recent years has become a specific scene. The phenomenon of hippies that occurred in USA and spread to Indonesia half a century ago is now starting to rise again. As the times goes by, Flower Generation has blended with the current trend. Qualitative method used in this research relates to descriptive research. This study attempts to illustrate how the role of young people in reviving psychedelic scene and its relation to mainstream music and psychedelic representation as a work of art for the enthusiasts and connoisseurs."
