Abstrak :
Persaingan produk teh celup di Indonesia membuat para produsen dan biro iklan memikirkan strategi pemasaran kreatif yang dapat menarik perhatian konsumen, salah satunya dengan daya tarik emosional yang menggugah sisi afeksi konsumen. Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana pengaruh sikap konsumen pada iklan cetak Twinings Tea Four Red Fruits terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta bagaimana pengaruh sikap pada merek terhadap hubungan antara keduanya, berdasarkan model respon kognitif, Hierarchy of Effects dan teori pembuatan keputusan pembelian. Penelitian menggunakan paradigma positivist dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan bersifat eksplanatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa konsumen memiliki sikap positif terhadap iklan dan merek namun, hal tersebut belum tentu dapat menyebabkan pembelian, masih ada faktor-faktor lainnya yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen.
The competition in Indonesia's teabags market causes the manufacturers and advertising agencies have to find creative strategies that will effectively attract the interest of consumer's. One of the strategies is to make an advertisement execution with emotional appeal towards consumer?s affection. This research would like to see on the effects of consumer's towards the advertisement on buying decisions and how attitude effects towards the brand influence on the connection between both of them, based on the Cognitive Response Model, Hierarchy of Effects Model and Buying Decisions Making Theory. The research uses positivist paradigm with quantitative approach and explanative character. In compiling data, the researcher uses the survey method with purposive sampling technique. The researcher found that even though consumers have a positive attitude towards the advertisement and brands, but it is uncertain that, that positive attitudes can cause the actual buying, there is still a lot of other factors that influence the consumers?s buying decision.

Iklan sebagai bagian dari bauran promosi yang juga merupakan bagian dari strategi integrated marketing commnunication (IMC), sehingga perusahaan harus mendesain iklannya agar tujuan komunikasi dan promosi yang diinginkan bisa tercapai. Seorang endorser atau juru bicara digunakan oleh marketer pada iklan produk mereka sebagai sumber yang kredibel dan memiliki daya tarik yang diharapkan dapat mempengaruhi sikap konsumen terhadap iklan yang ditunjukkan, terhadap merek, dan terutama terhadap niat pembelian konsumen. Kredibilitas perusahaan atau reputasi si perusahaan untuk keahlian dan kejujurannya juga termasuk jenis kredibilitas sumber yang dapat mempengaruhi reaksi konsumen terhadap iklan yang dipaparkan dan membentuk sikap mereka terhadap merek. Penelitian yang dilakukan mengalisa kredibilitas endorser maupun perusahaan serta daya tarik endorser pada sikap konsumen terhadap iklan, merek, dan intensi pembelian ketika sikap sebelumnya pada merek dilibatkan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap iklan make up Maybelline dengan menggunakan 150 responden. Dari analisis penelitian didapat bahwa kredibilitas dan daya tarik endorser, serta kredibilitas perusahaan memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap iklan. Kemudian sikap terhadap iklan dan sikap terhadap merek berpengaruh terhadap minat pembelian. Namun didapat bahwa kredibilitas perusahaan tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi pembelian. Tidak terdapat juga efek moderasi dari sikap sebelumnya terhadap merek pada hubungan sikap terhadap iklan dan sikap terhadap merek. ......Advertising as the part of promotional mix and integrated marketing communication strategics (IMC), makes the companies should design their ads thus their communication and promotion objectives could be achieved. An endorser or a spokesperson is frequently used by marketers in their product advertisements as a credible source that is hoped to influence the attitude of consumers in the marketplace toward the shown advertisement, the brand and most importantly their purchase intentions.Corporate credibility, the reputation of a company for honesty and expertise is another type of source credibility that is said to influence consumers’ reaction to the shown product advertisements and shape their attitudes to brands. The present study assessed the impact of both source credibility, corporate and endorser credibility as well endorser attractiveness on consumers’ attitude toward advertising, attitude toward brand, and purchase intention (PI) when brand familiarity is tested. A study carried out to Maybelline make up ads using 150 respondents. Path analysis confirmed that credibility and attractiveness of endorser as well corporate credibility had strengthened impact on attitude towards ads, then attitude toward ads and attitude toward brand had impact on purchase intention. While corporate credibility has no impact on purchase intention and there is no effect for prior attitude toward brand on relationship between attitude toward ads and attitude toward brand.

Tesis ini membahas pengaruh aspek-aspek iklan display dan pencarian kata kunci pada e-commerce Shopee Indonesia dan Tokopedia terhadap intention to purchase (niat pembelian konsumen). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan konsep-konsep Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) dan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Dari 595 responden penelitian yang diuji dengan analisis jalur menyiratkan adanya pengaruh perceived informativeness, perceived entertainment, dan perceived credibility terhadap perceived ad value. Perceived ad value, perceived entertainment, perceived credibility, dan perceived interactivity secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap attitude towards ads. Di sisi lain, attitude towards ads, perceived ease of use, dan subjective norms memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap intention to purchase. ......This thesis examines the impact of display and search advertising aspects on the e-commerce platforms of Shopee Indonesia and Tokopedia on consumers' intention to purchase. The research employs a quantitative approach based on the concepts of the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Among the 595 research respondents analyzed through path analysis, the results suggest that perceived informativeness, perceived entertainment, and perceived credibility influence perceived ad value. Collectively, perceived ad value, perceived entertainment, perceived credibility, and perceived interactivity positively impact the attitude towards ads. Conversely, attitude towards ads, perceived ease of use, and subjective norms positively influence the intention to purchase.
