Abstrak :
Kegiatan estimasi adalah salah satu proses utama dalam proyek konstruksi untuk menjawab pertanyaan "Berapa besar dana yang harus disediakan untuk sebuah bangunan?". Penyiapan dana dalam proyek konstruksi dibutuhkan dalam jumlah yang besar. Apabila terjadi ketidakpastian dalam penyediaan dana, maka akan menimbulkan dampak pada pihak-pihak yang terlibat di dalamnya. Kegiatan estimasi merupakan dasar untuk membuat sistem pembiayaan dan jadwal pelaksanaan konstruksi, untuk meramalkan kejadian pada proses pelaksanaan serta memberi nilai pada masing-masing kejadian tersebut. Estimasi biaya memegang peranan penting dalam penyelengaraan proyek. Kualitas suatu estimasi biaya yang berkaitan dengan akurasi dan kelengkapan unsur-unsurnya tergantung salah satunya pada tersedianya data dan informasi. Data dan informasi ini salah satunya adalah data dan informasi proyek terdahulu yang sejenis. Data dan informasi proyek terdahulu ini amat berguna sebagai panduan atau referensi dalam membuat suatu estimasi biaya. Penyesuaian yang diperlukan meliputi hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan eskalasi dan perubahan (penambahan atau pengurangan) lingkup proyek. Di samping itu perlu dikaji apakah proyek terdahulu dibangun dengan cara yang efisien dan ekonomis, sehinggga angka yang bersangkutan cukup realistis. Permasalahan yang dihadapi ialah bagaimana mengembangkan estimasi biaya proyek yang akurat berdasarkan data dan informasi proyek terdahulu. Sistem informasi yang tersedia untuk menampung data historis tentang proyek terdahulu dirasakan masih kurang dan belum dapat meningkatkan performa kinerja estimasi biaya proyek pada tahap konseptual. Teknologi Decision Support System (DSS) yang kini sedang berkembang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini. Semua informasi mengenai data dan informasi proyek terdahulu dijadikan database yang dapat di-update kapan saja. Proses selanjutnya adalah mendesain knowledge base yang berfungsi sebagai 'otak' dari program ini. Pendesainan knowledge base didasarkan pada pengalaman para estimator dalam mengembangkan estimasi proyek-proyek sebelumnya. Hasil akhirnya adalah sebuah program yang dapat membantu para estimator dalam mengembangkan estimasi biaya proyek khususnya pada tahap konseptual. Program ini telah diverifikasikan dan hasilnya membuktikan bahwa program ini dapat membantu para estimator dalam pengembangan estimasi biaya proyek terutama dalam hal meningkatkan kinerja estimasi pada tahap konseptual. ......Cost estimation is one of the main process in construction project to answer a question 'How much money which must be prepared for a building?'. Many Construction project involved significant amount of fund. Uncertainty in preparation of will impact people who involved in the construction project. Estimating activity represent as basis for making defrayel system and schedule of construction performance which is used to forecast occurrence at construction process as well as also give value at each occurrence. Cost estimation plays important role in project development. Quality of cost estimation, which is related to accuration and completion of its element, depend on the availability of data and information. One of the data and information in this case is data and information of the typical historical project. Data and information of the past project is useful as references in developing cost estimation. Adjustment may be needed to cover things that related to escalation and changes (reduction and addition) of project scope. Beside that, it must be studied whether the past project constructed in the most eficien way, which provide the estimation result in realistic value. The problem faced now is how to develop cost estimation of construction project based on the past projects information and data. Information system which is available to accommodate historical data of the past projects is felt still in less condition and have not yet improved performance of cost estimation of construction project in conceptual phase. Decision Support System (DSS) can be used to overcome this problems. All information concerning data and information of past project become database which can be updated any time. The next process is designing knowledge base which function as the brain of this program. The knowledge base is designed based on estimator's experience in developing cost estimation of past projects. Final result is a program that can help estimator in developing cost estimation. This program has been verified that it is able to help estimator in developing cost estimation of construction projects especially in improving estimation performance for conceptual phase.

Abstrak :
This book contains extended and revised versions of a set of selected papers from two workshops organized by the Euro Working Group on Decision Support Systems (EWG-DSS), which were held in London and Paris, in June and November 2011, respectively. The workshop themes were "Decision Support Systems" and "Collaborative Decision Making." The 11 papers were selected from 52 submissions and are representative of the current research in these fields. They address challenges such as conceptual models, software specification and simulation, collaborative requirements specification, as well as multi-objective and multi-criteria decision making.

Ketidakmerataan dokter spesialis masih tinggi di Indonesia. Pemberian Bantuan Biaya Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis (PPDS) merupakan salah satu cara untuk pemerataan distribusi dokter spesialis. Perlu dikembangkannya sistem pendukung keputusan yang bertujuan untuk menentukan prioritas dalam pemberian bantuan biaya pendidikan dokter spesialis dan menyaring penempatannya pada provinsi, kabupaten/kota dan rumah sakit (RS) yang benarbenar kekurangan. Telah dikembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Sistem ini merupakan komplemen dari sistem pendaftaran online PPDS. Penentuan batasan RS dan spesialisasi dalam pemberian biaya pendidikan dokter spesialis telah tersaring dan ditampilkan dalam option form pendaftaran online. Telah tersusunnya basis data kebutuhan dokter spesialis di Indonesia dengan total kekurangan dokter spesialis pada RS pemerintah tahun 2013 sebanyak 3888 dokter spesialis. Provinsi prioritas dalam pemberian biaya PPDS adalah Maluku, Bengkulu, Maluku Utara dan Nusa Tenggara Timur. ......Medical specialists are distributed unequaly in Indonesia . Scholarship program of medical specialist (PPDS) is one way to equal the distribution. The need to developed decision support system for medical specialist scholarship and placement distribution at the provincial, district/city, and hospital where lack of specialists. The development of decision support system for medical specialist scholarship and placement distribution is using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. This system is a complement of the online registration system for Scholarship Program of Medical Specialist (PPDS). The determination of the list of the hospital where lack of specialists and available scholarship program of medical specialist are displayed in the online registration form option. The result of this thesis is a database of medical specialist needs in Indonesian government hospitals in 2013, as many as 3888 specialists. Priority provinces for Scholarship program of medical specialist (PPDS) are Maluku, Bengkulu, Maluku Utara, and Nusa Tenggara Timur.

Abstrak :
Increasingly, cruise operators are utilising information and communication technologies (ICTs) to improve service-effectiveness and process efficiency, both on- and off-board. Therefore, it is worth initiating a discussion on the potential and challenges ICTs entail for both cruise operators' back-offices and for cruisers' consumption experiences. This book documents the proceedings of the 1st e-Cruising Conference (Bremerhaven, Germany), which was aimed at discussing the possibilities and applicability of ICTs and mobile services in various aspects of cruise operations. Following a rigorous double-blind review, the best papers were chosen to be incorporated in this volume.
