"Skripsi ini membahas tentang perbandingan Lembaga Pengawas Pemilu ditinjau dari Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2003 tentang Pemilu Legislatif pada umumnya dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2007 tentang penyelenggara Pemilu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Hukum sosiologis/empiris dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada umum nya Undang-Undang Nomor 22 tahun 2007 telah lebih baik dalam mengatur mengenai Lembaga Pengawas Pemilu dibandingkan Undang-Undang yang ada sebelumnya walaupun memiliki beberapa kekurangan, lebih baik karena Lembaga Pengawas Pemilu sekarang lebih independen dalam melasanakan tugasnya karena sejajar kedudukannya dengan KPU serta tidak bergantung dengan KPU, dan memiliki wewenang untuk mengatur anggota KPU. This essay discusses the comparison of Election Supervisors review of Law No. 12/2003 about legislative elections, with Law No. 22/2007 about Election organizers. This research is a sociological research Law/empirical with the descriptive design.
