Teknologi Informasi merupakan salah satu alat strategis yang digunakan oleh organisasi dalam persaingannya dengan perusahaan lain. Dengan Teknologi Informasi diharapkan memberikan kontribusi pada perusahaan dalam bentuk peningkatan produktivitas, efektivitas, kualitas dan keunggulan bersaing. PT TELKOM Divisi Regional VI Kalimantan adalah suatu organisasi yang dioperasikan melalui aliansi yang disebut pola Kerjasama Operasional (KSO). Unit Sistim Informasi merupakan bagian organisasi sudah selayaknya mengoptimalkan sumber dayanya untuk mendukung perusahaan bersaing di masa mendatang. Perencanaan strategis khususnya dibidang sistim informasi, diperlukan agar dapat menyelaraskan (aligning) Sistim Informasi dengan obyektif perusahaan. Sehingga segala aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh unit Sistim lnformasi dapat menghasilkan inovasi dan memberikan kontribusi perusahaan dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang.......Competitive business environment, rapid technology changes, increased customer awareness of products and services, economic, and politic situation can influence the existence of an organization. Rapid response and flexibility toward changing environment is important for an organization to survive. Information technology is a strategic weapon that enables an organization to suit its environment and compete with the others. The use of information technology gives contribution to organization in the forms of improving productivity, effectiveness, quality and competitive advantage. Therefor it must be planned strategically and carefully. Strategic Planning for information system is needed to align between information system strategy and corporate strategy. The alignment facilitates the innovation to the activities of information system unit and contributes to the business both in short term and long term. This thesis outlines an implementation of strategic planning to the Unit of information system of PT. TELKOM Divisi Regional VI Kalimantan that operates together with strategic alliances called Kerjasama Operasional (KSO)."

"This paper contains a brief analysis of the road, starting from the path to a modern highway. The analysis was performed in the cultural perspective. It means that the road is not seen as merely physical infrastructure of buildings, but how it constructs a network of knowledge and behavior of the cultures in it. Through this brief review, it is noted that the roads in its history experienced the shift func and meaning . For example , the functions of road that used to bring together both physical and nonphysical, but in its development, it actually has the function to work away. In the most recent phenomenon , road is also synonymous with "window"to display the artificiality of modernity."
