"Berbagai usaha untuk menurunkan AKI di Indonesia telah dilakukan. Salah satunya adalah Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi (P4K). Salah satu indikator keberhasilan program ini adalah pertolongan persalinan oleh tenaga kesehatan. Sungai Parit merupakan Kecamatan di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Propinsi Riau dengan cakupan pertolongan persalinan oleh tenaga kesehatan yang rendah baik sebelum maupun sesudah pelaksanaan program P4K. Ibu hamil berstiker yang bersalin ke tenaga kesehatan hanya 66,5 % dari target 100 %. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan ibu untuk bersalin ke tenaga kesehatan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sungai Parit tahun 2011.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Hasil penelitian didapatkan ibu yang patuh bersalin ke tenaga kesehatan hanya mencapai 62,2%. Variabel yang secara statistik berhubungan dengan kepatuhan ibu untuk bersalin ke tenaga kesehatan yaitu pendidikan, pengetahuan, sikap, perencanaan persalinan, kunjungan bidan desa, ambulans desa, asuransi kesehatan, atau tabulin, donor darah desa, dukungan suami dan dukungan keluarga.
Disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan untuk mengaggarkan dana rutin untuk operasionalisasi P4K, bagi puskesmas, meningkatkan promosi dan kualitas peenolong persalinan, meningkatkan kerja sama dengan dukun melaui kemitraan dukun, dan kepada tokoh masyararakat agar lebih terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan program P4K.

This study is a descriptive cross cectional dasain. Results showed that mothers give birth to a health worker dutifully reached only 62.2%. Variables that were statistically associated with compliance mothers to give birth to a health worker education, knowledge, attitude, planning of delivery, visit the village midwife, the village ambulance, health insurance, or Tabulin, rural blood donors,support her husband and family support.
It is recommended to the Department of Health to fund budgeting routine for the operationalization of P4K, for health centers, increasing promotion and quality of birth attendants, increase cooperation through partnerships with traditional healers, and the Society figures to be more actively involved in activities P4K program."
