"The reaction of cis-[Pt(15NH3)2(H2O)2]2+ (3) with glutathione (GSH) was investigated in aqueous solution. In this reaction, the ammine in the platinum complex formed was liberated. Surprisingly two chelate rings were observed, six-membered-S,O-chelate ring complex cis-[Pt(15NH3)2(SG-S,O) (7) and five-membered-S,N-chelate ring complex cis-[Pt(15NH3)2(SG-S,N)] (8). The bis (thiolate) platinum(II) complex, cis-[Pt(15NH3)2(SG)2] (9) was always present in this reaction in any mole ratio used. The dinuclear sulphur-bridged complex (10), giving a broad peak in 15N NMR, was only present in very tiny amounts."

"Isatin (indoline-2,3-dione atau indole -1H-2,3-dione merupakan produk alami yang
banyak ditemukan pada tanaman yang bergenus Isatis dan pada Couropita
guiananci aub. Isatin dan senyawa turunannya memiliki berbagai aktivitas biologis
seperti senyawa anti kanker, anti jamur, anti oksidan, anti diabetes, anti HIV,
pelindung saraf, anti inflamasi, analgesik. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan proses
sintesis dari senyawa turunan isatin dengan berbagai variasi prekusor dan
penggunaan MgCl2 sebagai katalis. Prekusor utama yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah Isatin dan Lawson (1,4 naphtoquinon) serta variasi
prekusornya berupa malononitril, hidrazin, fenil hidrazin, dan etil asetoasetat. Hasil
sintesis dari masing-masing variasi diisolasi untuk mendapatkan produk murni dan
dilakukan karakterisasi FT-IR. Untuk karakterisasi NMR dilakukan hanya untuk
produk variasi 1 dan variasi 3. Massa produk yang didapatkan setelah diisolasi
yakni variasi 1 sebesar 0.0378 gram; variasi 2 sebesar 0.0232 gram; variasi 3
sebesar 0.0494 gram; variasi 4 sebesar 0.0266 gram. Berdasarkan hasil NMR yang
dilakukan, produk variasi 1 dan variasi 3 bukan merupakan produk yang
diharapkan. Prediksi struktur dari produk variasi 1 memiliki rumus molekul
C11H7N3O dengan m/z 197

Isatin (indoline-2,3-dione or indole -1H-2,3-dione) is a natural product which is
found in many plants with the genus name of Isatis and in Couropita guiananci
aub. Isatin and its derivatives have various biological activities such as anti-cancer,
anti-fungi, anti-oxidants, anti-diabetes, anti-HIV, neuroprotective, antiinflammatory,
and analgesic. In this study, the synthesis process of isatin
derivatives with various precursors was carried out and the use of MgCl2 as a
catalyst. The main precursors used in this study were Isatin and Lawson (1,4
naphtoquinone) and its precursor variations in the form of malononitrile, hydrazine,
phenyl hydrazine, and ethyl acetoacetate. The synthesis results of each variation
were isolated to obtain a pure product and performed FT-IR characterization. and
variation 3. The mass of the product obtained after being isolated for variation 1 is
0.0378 grams; variation 2 is 0.0232 grams; variation 3 is 0.0494 grams; and
variation 4 is 0.0266 grams. Based on the results of the NMR, the product of
variation 1 and variation 3 was not the expected product. The predicted structure of
the product variation 1 has the molecular formula C11H7N3O with m / z 197
