"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran yang lebih lengkap mengenai pengalaman perempuan sebagai pejuang selama perang kemerdekaan dans setelah indonesia merdeka berdasarkan penurunan dari pelaku sejarah itu sendiri. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa masih banyak hal-hal mengenai pengalaman perempuan yang tidak terkemand dalam buku-buku sejarah indonesia. Dua hal yang diduga dapat menerangkan hal ini adalah kurangnya tradisi menulis dan kurangnya minat para sejarawan terhadap pengalaman-pengalaman perempuan sebagai pelaku sejarah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu penelitian yang akan menggali lebih banyak mengenai pengalaman perempuan dari pelaku sejarah itu sendiri. Penelitian ini memilih tiga orang perempuan pejuang yang telah dikenal sepak terjangnya dalam lingkungan organisasi perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam.Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ada beberapa pengalaman dan kepedulian yang kurang lebih sama yang dimiliki oleh tiga pejuang ini. Pertama, dalam perjuangannya perempuan pejuang ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan oleh orang tuanya. Kedua, mereka peduli terhadap isu perempuan, terutama masalah hak perempuan dalam perkawinan dan kesejahteraan ibu dan anak. Ketiga, sifat perjuangan mereka juga dipengaruhi oleh konsep perempuan sebagai ibu abgnsa. Keempat, oleh karena perjuangan mereka sangat diwarnai oleh konsep tersebut, mereka tetap menempatkan identitas mereka sebagai ibu rumah tangga walaupun pada saat bersamaan mereka adalah tokoh publik. Penelitian ini juga menampilkan pengalaman khas perempuan baik sebagai pejuang maupun sebagai istri pejuang. Dalam penelitian ini juga terungkap bagaimana perempuan ini menyikapi kelanjutan perjuangan mereka dalam masa sekarang.

ABSTRACTThis study was conducted to obtain a more complete description about women's experience during Indonesian Independence movement and thereafter based on personal life story. This study was based on the assumption that there are still lots more to say about women experience than those we can find in history books. Lack of written tradition and of historians' concerns on women's experience as actor in history are likely to be the reasons behind all this missing information. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study which will explore more about women's experience based on the actors' own experience. The method employed in this study is in-depth interviews and three women who are well-known among members of women's organizations, were selected as informants. This study has identified some common experiences and concerns shared by three women who come from different backgrounds. First, have been greatly influenced by their parents and their families in their struggle. Second, they all concern about women's issues especially on women's right in marriage, mother's and children's welfare. Third, the nature of their struggle are greatly influenced by the concept of women as "ibu bangsa" (mother nation). Fourth, therefore, eventhough they have invaded "public" space successfully, they still retain their niches in "domestic sphere." This study also recaptures and reveals women's unique experience both as fighters and wives of fighters. Some concerns on women's situation in particular and the nation present Indonesia are also raised by the women, such as people's lack of morality and the government's lack of interest in social welfare."

"In this paper, I examine the stories about the origins of the first inhabitants ofthe Mentawai Islands. My aim is to understand the perspective of the localcommunity in seeing themselves in the particular place and space where theylive in the Mentawai Islands. In my opinion, a set of narrative as a story aboutthe origin of a group of people has a significant value for the development oflocal communities and their culture. A collection of narratives is an importantsource of information to understand the ideas of local communities in perceivingtheir past, especially people who do not have a written tradition. Many of thesestories have not been studied thoroughly and on this occasion, I explore it inmore depth."

"The Help 2009 adalah sebuah novel karangan penulis Amerika, Kathryn Stockett, yang mengangkat tema tentang sebuah kejadian bersejarah di America pada tahun 1950s mdash;1960s, yaitu civil right movement. Novel in diadaptasikan menjadi film yang dirilis tahun 2011 dan disutradai oleh sutradara Amerika, Tate Taylor. Kedua versi dari The Help, walaupun berangkat dari satu cerita yang sama-sama berasal dari novel, namun memiliki beberapa perbedaan yang cukup menarik untuk dibahas, terutama dari sudut isu gender dan dinamika komunitas perempuan dalam film dan novel tersebut. Menggunakan teori keperempuanan dari Simone de Beauvoir The Second Sex 1949 dan analisa narasi white saviour pada film-film Hollywood, studi ini akan menganalisa empat karakter wanita di buku maupun film The Help untuk memperlihatkan bagaimana keempat karakter tersebut dibuat ideal di versi adaptasi filmnya. ......The Help 2009 is a novel by an American writer, Kathryn Stockett, which takes up the theme of an actual historical event happened in America during the 1950s mdash 1960s, the civil rights movement. This novel is adapted into a movie which was released in 2011 and directed by an American director, Tate Taylor. The two versions of The Help, although the movie adapts the story from the novel, have several differences that are quite fascinating to be discussed, especially through the issue of gender and the dynamic of women community in the novel and its movie adaptation. Using the concept of womanhood by Simone de Beauvoir in her classic The Second Sex 1949 and an analysis of white savior narrative in Hollywood produced movies, this study will analyze four white women characters to shows how those characters are idealized in The Help movie adaptation."

"Dalam mengalami ruang, manusia bergerak secara spontan dan selama pergerakannya ini akan ada kondisi berhenti sejenak yang disebut sebagai pause moment. Pause moment merupakan sebuah konsekuensi dari proses datang dan pergi manusia di dalam ruang yang terjadi karena kehadiran objek. Karena pergerakan ini, narasi yang ingin disampaikan di sebuah ruang tidak sama dengan yang dipersepsikan oleh manusia. Skripsi ini selanjutnya akan membahas kehadiran pause moment dalam membentuk narasi dari berbagai ruang dengan melihat peran tubuh manusia dan objek di dalam ruang. Hal ini bertujuan untuk melihat relasi antara objek dan pause moment dalam membentuk narasi ruang. Sehingga, penyusunan objek untuk menciptakan pause moment di dalam ruang dapat terlihat. Studi kasus yang dilakukan melihat bagaimana tiap pause moment ini tersusun di dalam ruang pamer yang menempatkan posisi manusia sebagai traveler.......In experiencing space, human moves spontaneously where during this movement there will be a condition where human stops for a while which it referred as pause moment. A pause moment is a consequence of human arriving and leaving process which caused by the existence of objects. This spontaneous movement caused the narration to be conveyed in space is not the same as what human perceived. While this perception should be equal in order to understands the meaning of the presence of space. Furthermore, this thesis will discuss about the presence of pause moment in forming a narratives of various spaces by looking at the role of human body and object in space. The aim is to see a relation between object and pause moment in forming a narrative space. Thus, the arrangement of objects to create pause moments in space can be seen. Case studies conducted to investigate at how each pause moment is arranged in a exhibition space with human as a traveler."
