"The book deals with the optimization phase of compilers. In this phase, programs are transformed in order to increase their efficiency. To preserve the semantics of the programs in these transformations, the compiler has to meet the associated applicability conditions. These are checked using static analysis of the programs. In this book the authors systematically describe the analysis and transformation of imperative and functional programs. In addition to a detailed description of important efficiency-improving transformations, the book offers a concise introduction to the necessary concepts and methods, namely to operational semantics, lattices, and fixed-point algorithms."

"Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah perkembangan teknologi informasi, khususnya dalam bidang komputer yang telah diaplikasikan pada sistem rekam medis rumah sakit Hasil pengamatan sebelumnya pada komputerisasi rekam medis di RSU PMI Bogor menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaannya belum berjalan secara optimal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memganalisis pelaksanaan komputerisasi rekam medis rawat jalan RSU PMI Bogor yang difokuskan pada input dan prosesnya. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripftif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dan informasi mengenai input dan proses rekam medis diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terarah dan observasi lapangan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada masalah antara lain sumber daya manusia yang masih kurang dalam hal jumlah maupun keahlian, komitmen dokter yang lemah, prosedur dan program komputerisasi rekam medis.RSU PMI perlu memperbaiki pelaksanaan rekam medis rawat jalan. Usulan terpenting yang disampaikan adalah pembuatan prosedur, melakukan sosialisasi sistem yang ada, membangun komitmen dokter, perbaikan program komputer dan pelatihan komputerisasi rekam medis bagi perawat dan dokter.Dafar Pustaka : 28 ( 1975-200 I )

To assess the implementation of medical record process, I conduct a study in PMI Hospital Bogor. This is a case study, focused on the input and process of the medical record. Information is derived by in-depth interview, focus group discussions, and field observation.This research found the there were some problem on the input, which were the low-level of quantity and expertise quality of medical human resources (doctors), doctors' commitment, flaws on computer programs, and procedures on computer data inserting. There were also problem on process, such as data recording by doctors, data storing on computer system and data retrieval.The study recommended that the implementation should be improved in the future; by develop procedures on implementation of computer stored ambulatory record. There should be a doctor commitment on the medical record system. The software should be improved to accommodate pictures drawn by the doctors. Lastly, there should be trainings on medical record computerization for nurses and doctors.Bibliography: 28 (1975-2001)"
