For Indonesia, the phenomenon of en energy crisis that happen nowadays at least have made us realize that we should always keep up with the technology and science?s advancement and improvement that rapidly developing, with the current trend of the world community to maximize the utilization of science and technology to get energy. One of them is the development of nuclear power as an alternative source of energy. The main problems that would like to be featured in this research are as follows: How is the policy for Nuclear Power Plant in Indonesia, and what are the challenges for the implementation of the plan to build a Nuclear Power Plant in Jepara, so a research on the evaluation of the policy implementation for Nuclear Power Plant as an Alternative Energy Source with the hope that a complete information can be gathered. As for this research aim are to understand the implementation of the policy for the Nuclear Power Plant in Indonesia and to identify the challenges for the implementation of the plan to build a Nuclear Power Plant in Jepara.
This research is done by qualitative research method using descriptive design, where the data that used in this paper describe the social reality that present in the field. Qualitative data that gathered will be in quantitative data format. In relation with the policy to build a Nuclear Power Plant in Indonesia, the government cannot perform its function efficiently and effectively without considering the benefits that will be gained if Indonesia has its own Nuclear Power Plant. Questions like this will be surfacing, considering that Indonesia, even though has operating three nuclear reactors for several decades and has the research and development facility since the 80?s still has limited technological capabilities, that the Power Plant has to be build with the assistance from foreign nuclear technology supplier, and even in the early stage the Power Plant has to be operated with imported nuclear materials."

"This book presents the theory of periodic conjugate heat transfer in a detailed way. The effects of thermophysical properties and geometry of a solid body on the commonly used and experimentally determined heat transfer coefficient are analytically presented from a general point of view. The main objective of the book is a simplified description of the interaction between a solid body and a fluid as a boundary value problem of the heat conduction equation for the solid body. At the body surface, the true heat transfer coefficient is composed of two parts, the true mean value resulting from the solution of the steady state heat transfer problem and a periodically variable part, the periodic time and length to describe the oscillatory hydrodynamic effects. The second edition is extended by (i) the analysis of stability boundaries in helium flow at supercritical conditions in a heated channel with respect to the interaction between a solid body and a fluid, (ii) a periodic model and a method of heat transfer simulation in a fluid at supercritical pressure and (iii) a periodic quantum-mechanical model for homogeneous vapor nucleation in a fluid with respect to nanoscale effects."

"ASEAN has a goal to create an economic community by 2015. To achieve the goal, connectivity among the member states needs to be given due importance. In 2010, ASEAN adopted the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC), which looked at physical, institutional and people-to-people connectivity. It pinned down fifteen priority projects which can potentially transform the ASEAN region, providing the conditions for a single market and production base. But MPAC is an expensive initiative, and funding remains a major challenge. The private sector needs to be actively involved as a number of infrastructure projects identified in the MPAC are lacking substantial investment."

"Fuel cells in the waste-to-energy chain explores the concept of waste-to-energy through a 5 step process which reflects the stages during the transformation of refuse flows to a valuable commodity such as clean energy. By providing selected, integrated alternatives to the current centralized, wasteful, fossil-fuel based infrastructure, this book explores how the concept of waste-to-energy can be constructed and developed into a realistic solution. The entire spectrum of current and future energy problems is illuminated through the explanation of the operational, integration and marketing implications of high efficiency technological solutions using the real context of developed regions such as Europe. Up-to-date reviews are provided on the status of technology and demonstration, implementation and marketing perspectives.
The detailed technological information and insight gathered from over twenty years of experience in the field makes Fuel cells in the waste-to-wnergy chain a valuable resource for all engineers and researchers in the fields of energy supply systems and waste conversion, as well as providing a key reference for discussions by policy makers, marketing experts and industry developers working in energy supply and waste management."
