"Tujuan utama Industri manufaktur adalah untuk memproduksi barang secara ekonomis agar dapat memperoleh keuntungan serta dapat menyerahkan produk tepat pada waktunya. Proses produksi yang tidak efektif dan efisien menyebabkan produksi tidak lancar. Lean production system membantu perusahaan untuk menjadi kompetitif, terutama dalam hal mengurangi pemborosan waste yang terjadi pada operasi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi waste produksi pada salah satu perusahaan otomotif dengan menggunakan Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM), Waste Assessment Questionnaire (WAQ) dan Value stream Mapping (VSM). Kegiatan dalam Industri otomotif ialah merancang, mengembangkan, memproduksi, memasarkan, dan menjual kendaraan bermotor di dunia. Ketiga metode tersebut bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi serta menganalisa pemborosan waste yang terjadi serta melakukan perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan tersebut.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh jenis waste form yaitu waiting dan motion. Sedangkan jenis waste to yaitu inventory. Ketiga jenis waste tersebut adalah yang paling besar prosentasinya untuk terjadi pada proses assembly trimming pada lini proses produksi mobil. Setelah dilakukan implementasi perbaikan dengan menggunakan metode WRM dan VSM diperoleh hasil efisiensi waste yang terjadi pada jenis waste from yaitu motion dari 17.65 menjadi 15.75 , waiting dari 15.88 menjadi 13.12 , dan Lead Time turun dari 14.202 menit menjadi 12.322 menit dalam satu proses assembly trimming. Beberapa saran improvement yang dilakukan adalah penerapan sistem FIFO First in First Out , Melakukan improvement perubahan pada gerak dan perpindahan pekerja, dan Line Balancing pada lini proses asembly trimming proses produksi mobil.

The main purpose of a manufacturing industry is to produce goods economically in order to gain advantage and can deliver products on time. The production process is not effective and efficient cause of production is not smooth. Lean production helps companies to become competitive, especially in terms of reducing the waste that occurs in their operations. This study aims to reduce waste production at one of the automotive companies are using the waste relationship matrix WRM , waste assessment questionnaire WAQ and Value stream Mapping VSM . The main jobs in automotive industry are paln, develop, produce, market, and supplier the world motorized vehicle. The use of these three methods an intended to identify and analyze the waste that occurred and proposed improvement to eliminate the waste that occured. In the result kind of 'from' waste in the car assembly trimming process are Motion and Waiting waste. Kind of 'to' waste is Inventory that caused by another waste. Motion waste occured as waste.

From the research results obtained type of waste form is waiting and motion. While the type of waste to the inventory. The third type of waste is the greatest procession to occur in the assembly trimming process on the production line of the car. After the implementation of the improvement using WRM and VSM methods obtained the results of waste efficiency that occurs in the type of waste from the motion of 17.65 to 15.75 , waiting from 15.88 to 13.12 , and Lead Time down from 14.202 minutes to 12.322 minutes in one assembly process Trimming. "Value stream mapping sebagai metode implementasi konsep lean bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan informasi dan aliran material pada suatu proses. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, sektor angkutan udara mengalami peningkatan dalam jumlah permintaan volume kargo dikarenakan peningkatan kebutuhan masyarakat yang beralih ke pembelanjaan secara online seiring dengan masa pandemi yang disertakan kelebihan strategis angkutan udara. Oleh karena itu, industri logistik dituntut untuk terus beradaptasi terhadap perubahan dalam pasar untuk memenuhi permintaan yang terus meningkat. Terminal Kargo Outgoing Domestik di Bandara Internasional Juanda PT Angkasa Pura Logistik seringkali tidak dapat mencapai target pengiriman angkutan udara yang telah ditetapkan. Identifikasi awal menunjukkan faktor penyebab keterlambatan yaitu terdapat beberapa barang yang tertinggal dalam proses, dan terdapat proses yang berulang. Dalam penelitian ini, value stream mapping dapat membantu untuk menggambarkan proses secara menyeluruh dan mengidentifikasi pemborosan pada proses Outgoing di Terminal Kargo PT Angkasa Pura Logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lead time proses pergudangan berkurang 25%, processing time berkurang 28%, dan value added ratio proses pergudangan meningkat dari 48.63% menjadi 69.4%. Rencana perbaikan yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah perancangan konsep lean 5S, penerapan planned maintenance alat bantu Terminal Kargo, dan melakukan digitalisasi untuk perpindahan data.......Value stream mapping, as a method of implementing lean concepts, aims to visualize the flow of materials and information within a process. In recent years, the volume of air cargo transportation has increased due to the growing demand as people shift to online shopping during the pandemic, coupled with the strategic advantages of air transportation. Therefore, the logistics industry is required to continuously adapt to market changes to meet the ongoing increase in demand. The Outgoing Domestic Cargo Terminal at Juanda International Airport, operated by PT Angkasa Pura Logistics, often fails to achieve the set targets for air transportation deliveries. Initial identification reveals that some items are left behind in the process, and there exists repetitive processes causing delays. In this study, value stream mapping is used to comprehensively depict the overall process and identify waste in the Outgoing process at PT Angkasa Pura Logistics’ Cargo Terminal. The research results indicate a 25% reduction in warehouse lead time, a 28% reduction in processing time, and an increase in the value-added ratio of the warehousing process from 48.63% to 69.4%. Proposed improvement plans in this research include implementing lean 5S concepts, the implementation of planned maintenance for Cargo Terminal equipment, and the digitization of data transfer processes."

"Konsep lean merupakan salah satu prinsip dalam lean yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dengan mengeliminasi pemborosan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan proses kerja yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Konsep lean dapat dipetakan menggunakan value stream mapping. Value stream mapping merupakan teknik memvisualisasikan aktivitas yang menambah nilai dan tidak menambah nilai dalam aliran proses dan informasi. Salah satu industri manufaktur yang telah memberikan kontribusi secara signifikan terhadap perekonomian adalah industri alas kaki. Akan tetapi, sejak akhir tahun 2022, industri alas kaki mengalami penurunan order yang membuat persaingan yang ketat antar industri alas kaki untuk tetap dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Persaingan yang kompetitif membuat perusahaan ingin meningkatkan proses produksinya. Salah satu elemen yang cukup berpengaruh dalam peningkatan produktivitas proses produksi adalah proses pergudangan. Proses pergudangan pada PT Sepatu Y saat ini masih memiliki lead time yang tinggi. Lead time merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam performa gudang. Lead time yang tinggi dapat terjadi karena masih terdapatnya proses pemborosan pada pergudangan terutama pada pemborosan transportation, overprocessing dan waiting. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menggunakan konsep lean dan metode value stream mapping dengan tujuan untuk mengurangi pemborosan dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses pergudangan. Penggunaan value stream mapping yang dilanjutkan dengan identifikasi pemborosan dan analisis fishbone dapat membantu untuk mendapatkan akar masalah yang akan digunakan untuk membuat usulan perbaikan. Failure mode and effect analysis diperlukan untuk membantu dalam memprioritaskan akar masalah berdasarkan nilai RPN. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kinerja gudang bahan baku yang ditandai dengan pengurangan lead time sebesar 29,96%, pengurangan processing time sebesar 31,59%, pengurangan waktu non-value added activity sebesar 70,12%, pengurangan waktu non-value added but necessary activity sebesar 66,47% dan peningkatan rasio value-added activity sebesar 26,55%. Rencana perbaikan yang diusulkan dalam rangka mengeliminasi pemborosan adalah pembuatan standar operasional prosedur pada sistem penjadwalan dan gudang, penerapan lean 5S, penerapan sistem FIFO dalam aliran pergudangan, perancangan standar pengemasan, dan penerapan digitalisasi data.......The notion of lean is one of the concepts of lean that strives to enhance processes by removing waste so that they impact the improvement of work processes that are more effective and efficient. Value stream mapping may be used to map Lean ideas. Value stream mapping is a technique for visualizing actions that contribute and do not add value in process and information flow. The footwear industry is one of the manufacturing businesses that has contributed considerably to the economy. However, since the end of 2022, the footwear business has witnessed a fall in orders, resulting in fierce rivalry among the footwear sector to sustain its survival. Companies are motivated to enhance their manufacturing processes as a result of competitive pressure. One significant factor that is quite influential in increasing the productivity of the production process is the warehousing process. The warehousing process at PT Sepatu Y currently still has a high lead time. Lead time is a crucial metric for measuring warehouse performance. High lead times can occur because warehousing still has inefficient procedures, namely waste of transportation, overprocessing, and waiting. As a result, this research employs lean ideas and value stream mapping methodologies in order to reduce waste and improve the efficiency of the warehousing operation. The use of value stream mapping followed by identification of waste and fishbone analysis can help to get to the root of the problem which will be used to make suggestions for improvements. Failure mode and effect analysis is needed to assist in prioritizing the root of the problem based on the RPN value. According to the results of this study indicate that, raw material warehouse performance has improved, as evidenced by a reduction in lead time of 29.96%, a reduction in processing time of 31.59%, a reduction in non-value added activity time of 70.12%, a reduction in non-value time added but necessary activity of 66.47%, and an increase in the value-added activity ratio of 26.55%. The proposed improvement plan in order to eliminate wastes includes the development of standard operating procedures in scheduling and warehouse systems, the implementation of lean 5S, the use of the FIFO method in warehousing flow, the establishment of packaging standards, and the use of data digitalization."

"Value stream mapping adalah metode dari konsep lean manufacturing yang bertujuan untuk memetakan aliran material dan informasi pada sebuah proses. Dibantu dengan metode waste relationship matrix, jenis-jenis waste pada peta value stream dapat teridentifikasi sehingga dapat dimitigasi dengan value stream mapping analysis tool yang sesuai. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan value stream mapping pada proses perbaikan rotating equipment yaitu pompa jenis Pump P04-CD3 yang merupakan equipment untuk menyokong aktivitas produksi minyak. Setelah penerapan metode, jenis-jenis waste yang menjadi akar permasalahan dari proses perbaikan equipment tersebut adalah transportation waste, process waste dan motion waste. This research aims to apply value stream mapping to the repair process of rotating equipment, namely Pump P04-CD3 which is equipped to support oil production activities. After the application of the method, the types of waste that become the root cause of the equipment repair process problem are transportation waste, process waste and motion waste. After improvement, the repair lead time was reduced by 46.7%, the repair cycle time decreased by 3.8%, and the non-value-added time decreased by 57.9%."

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan value stream mapping pada proses perawatan pompa sentrifugal yang merupakan komponen yang memiliki frekuensi perawatan terbesar. Setelah penerapan metode, jenis-jenis waste yang menjadi akar masalah dari proses perawatan pompa adalah motion, transportation, dan processing. Setelah dilakukan improvement, didapati lead time perawatan berkurang sebanyak 11.85%, cycle time perawatan berkurang sebanyak 11.55%, dan non-value-adding time berkurang sebanyak 27.00%.......Value stream mapping is one of the tools in the lean manufacturing concept that aims to map the value stream and information on a sequence of the process. This research aims to apply the value stream mapping method on centrifugal pump maintenance as it is the component with the greatest maintenance frequency. After the application, wastes that contribute the greatest to the pump maintenance problems are motion, processing, and transport. After an improvement, the lead time is reduced by 11.85%, cycle time is reduced by 11.55%, and non-value-adding time is reduced by 27.00%."

"Persaingan industri daur ulang sampah plastik yang semakin kompetitif menuntut perusahaan untuk terus berkembang dan melakukan improvement agar dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Persaingan yang sangat kompetitif ditambah dengan meningkatnya permintaan plastik daur ulang saat masa pandemi menekan pabrik manufaktur untuk meningkatkan dimensi operasional mereka. Salah satu dimensi operasional yang sangat penting adalah gudang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu perusahaan daur ulang sampah plastik di Indonesia dengan pendekatan lean warehouse untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang masih terjadi pada gudang bahan baku dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan agar tercapai proses pergudangan yang efisien. Setelah dilakukan identifikasi waste diketahui bahwa terdapat 3 pemborosan kritis yang terjadi pada gudang bahan baku yaitu overprocessing, waiting, dan transportation. Setelah itu beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan diusulkan untuk menghilangkan pemborosan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lead time proses pergudangan yang terbatas pada gudang bahan baku terjadi penurunan sebesar 42% dari 12661 detik menjadi 7314 detik dan terjadi pengurangan rasio non-value added activity dari 33% menjadi 8%.......The increasingly competitive plastic waste recycling industry requires companies to continue to develop and make improvements in order to maintain their existence. The intense competition coupled with the increasing demand for recycled plastic during the pandemic has pressured manufacturers to increase their operational dimensions. One very important operational dimension is the warehouse. This research was conducted at one of the plastic waste recycling companies in Indonesia with a lean warehouse approach to identify waste that still occurs in raw material warehouses and provide recommendations for improvements to eliminate waste in order to achieve an efficient warehousing process. After identifying waste, it is known that there are 3 critical wastes that occur in the raw material warehouse, namely overprocessing, waiting, and transportation. After that several recommendations for improvement are proposed to eliminate the waste. The results showed that the lead time of the warehousing process which was limited to the raw material warehouse decreased by 42% from 12661 seconds to 7314 seconds and there was a reduction in the ratio of non-value added activity from 33% to 8%."

"Lean adalah pendekatan yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan proses kerja dengan menghilangkan aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah agar proses tersebut menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien dengan tetap memperhatikan kualitas terbaik. Seiring meningkatnya pengguna internet pada masa pandemi, terjadi peningkatan gangguan dikarenakan jaringan yang terdegradasi. Hal ini dapat terlihat pada permasalahan yang terjadi di PT X, sebagai perusahaan penyedia jasa teknisi, dimana tingginya angka pelaporan gangguan memunculkan permasalahan pada penanganan gangguan yang belum dilaksanakan secara efektif dan efisien ditandai dengan target waktu penanganan atau TTR (time to repair) dari perusahaan yaitu tiga jam belum tercapai. Maka dari itu, perusahaan perlu meningkatkan efisiensi proses serta mengurangi pemborosan yang terjadi pada proses layanan penanganan gangguan agar dapat memberikan layanan terbaik kepada pelanggannya dengan memenuhi target tersebut. Penelitian ini menerapkan konsep lean dengan metode value stream mapping yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengeliminasi pemborosan pada proses layanan perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode value stream mapping serta waste relationship matrix untuk mengidentifikasi jenis pemborosan, serta analisis akar masalah menggunakan ishikawa diagram, didapatkan rancangan perbaikan serta mengeliminasi pemborosan yang terjadi. Hasil menunjukkan total lead time proses berkurang sebesar 25%, cycle time berkurang sebesar 24,84%, serta total waktu pemborosan (non-value added) berkurang 41% dan value added ratio meningkat 116%.......Lean is an approach that used to improve work processes by eliminating activities that do not give any value added so the process will becomes more effective and efficient but still giving the best quality. As internet users increase during the pandemic, there is also an increasing in disruption due the degraded network. This can be seen in the problems that occur at PT X, as a technicians service provider company, where the customer report about disturbances is very high that raises problems in handling disturbances that have not been implemented effectively and efficiently marked by the target time for handling disturbances or TTR (time to repair) that is three hours has not been reached. Therefore, PT. X need to improve process efficiency and reduce waste that occurs in the disruption handling service process to give the best service to the customers by meeting those targets. This study applies the lean approach with value stream mapping method which aims to identify and eliminate waste in the company's service processes. By using value stream mapping method and waste relationship matrix to identify the type of waste, also using ishikawa diagram to analyze the root cause of the problem, that will obtained the improvement design and eliminates the waste that occurs. The results show the total process lead time is reduced by 25%, cycle time is reduced by 24,84%, and the total waste time (non-value added activities) is reduced by 41% and also the value added ratio is increased by 116%."

Dalam penelitian ini, value stream mapping dapat membantu untuk menggambarkan proses secara menyeluruh dan mengidentifikasi pemborosan pada proses kiting gift di The Body Shop Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lead time proses pergudangan berkurang 51,8%, processing time berkurang 32%, dan value added ratio proses pergudangan meningkat dari 7,6% menjadi 67,9%. Rencana perbaikan yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah merancang layout untuk penempatan barang di gudang, perancangan konsep lean 5S, penerapan FIFO dalam flow distribusi bahan baku, dan melakukan digitalisasi untuk perpindahan data.......Value stream mapping aims to map the flow of materials and information in a process. In this study, value stream mapping can help to describe the process thoroughly and identify waste in the kiting gift process at The Body Shop Indonesia. The results of this study showed that the lead time of warehousing processes decreased by 51.8%, processing time decreased by 32%, and the value added ratio of warehousing processes increased from 7.6% to 67.9%. The improvement plans proposed in this study are designing layouts for the placement of goods in warehouses, designing lean 5S concepts, implementing FIFO in raw material distribution flows, and digitizing data transfer."
