"Representasi Turki di dalam filmGegen die Wand (melawan tembok): Proses encoding-decoding tiga narasumber herkebangsaan Turki terhadap film. (I)i bawah bimbingan Dr. Lilawati Kurnia). Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya IJniversitas Indonesia, 2008. Penelitian mengenai idenitas kultural Turki dilakukan melalui sebuah film Jerman karya Fatih Akin herjudul Gegen die Wand (melawan tembok). Tujuannya untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut lenomena identitas kultural di kalangan generasi muda Turki sebagai komunitas pendatang terbesar di Jerman. Pendekatan cultural studies menjadi landasan utama penelitian beserta'beherapa teori dan metodc lain. Sementara basil wawancara betsama tiga prang narasumber menjadi uji kebenaran perihal identitas kultural Turki yang direpresentasikan kedelapan tokoh film dengan dua karakter utama, Cahit Tomruk dan Sibel Guner. Seperti apa identitas dan representasi awal yang terbentuk Berta identitas dan representasi barn dari ketiga narasumber menjadi basil akhir penelitian. Didapat representasi Baru dari ketiganya, bahwa representasi Turki di dalam film berbeda dengan representasi Turki di negara asal. Ketiga narasumber memaknai para tokoh sebagai generasi Turki hibrid, yakni mereka yang telah megadopsi nilai-nilai kebudayaan setempat. Dengan demikian melalui film Gegen die Wand (melawan tembok) Fatih Akin selaku sutradara berupaya menghadirkan gambaran Turki yang mcmiliki beragam bentuk, baik esensialis, diaspora-hibrid, atau berada diantaranya. ilal tersehut adalah realisasi multikulturalisme, bahwa masing-masing dapat menjadi apa pun yang diinginkan di mana pun berada sekaligus pilihan dalam memaknai identitas kultural diri sebagai seorang'furki.

Representation of Turkish culture in Gegen die Wand (Against The Wall) film: Encoding-decoding process of three Turkish people toward the film. (Under supervision of Dr. Lilawati Kurnia). Faculty of Humanities University of Indonesia. 2008. The research about cultural identity of Turkish is made based on a Germany film from Fatih Akin with the title of Gegen die Wand (Against The Wall). The aim is to get more understanding about the phenomena of cultural identity within the Turkish young generation as the largest immigrant comnTunity in Germany. Cultural studies method becomes the main foundation for this research along with some other theories and methods. While the interview result with the three Turkish young men use as analysis for cultural identity of Turkish. In the film the cultural identity are represented in eight film characters with two leading role, Cahit Tomruk and Sihel Giiner. The final result is to determine on how the new identity and representation was formed against the initial one from the three sources. Based on their point of view it is clear that Turkish image in the film is different from the Turkish as its origin. All of them observed some the figures as a Turkish hybrid generation which already adopted local culture values. Therefore through Gegen die Wand (Against The Wall) film Fatih Akin as director tried out to represented portraits of Turkish identity which has many figures, such as origin, diaspora-hybrid, and between the two of them. This is an attempt to show the act of multiculturalism: that every person can choose his or her place and also represent the cultural identity as Turkish."

"Skripsi ini menganalisis unsur intrinsik novel Rahasia Meede karya E. S. Ito dan novel The Da Vinci Code karya Dan Brown kemudian membandingkannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan bahwa Novel The Da Vinci Code mempengaruhi novel Rahasia Meede. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan persamaan dan perbedaan kedua novel melalui sudut pandang dan fokus pengisahan, alur dan pengaluran, tokoh dan penokohan, serta tema. Berdasarkan analisis, kedua novel mempunyai banyak persamaan dan novel The Da Vinci Code memengaruhi novel Rahasia Meede.

This thesis analyses about the intrinsic elements of Rahasia Meede novel by E.S Ito and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and then compares them. The aim of this research is to prove that The Da Vinci Code novel influences Rahasia Meede novel. This research, in addition, shows the similarities and differences of those novels through point of view and narration_s focus, plot and grooving, character and characterization, also theme. Both of novels, according to the analysis, have many similarities and Rahasia Meede novel is the result of The Da Vinci Code novels influence."
