Abstrak :
Studi ini membahas artikulasi identitas-identitas kultural di Provinsi Riau yang muncul sebagai tanggapan atas kepengaturan desentralisasi. Riau yang merupakan salah satu provinsi berpendapatan per kapita terbesar, adalah salah satu kisah sukses desentralisasi pascaSoeharto. Provinsi ini juga menjadi tempat tinggal bagi kelompok warga Melayu yang terbesar di Indonesia. Namun mereka bukanlah penduduk mayoritas di Provinsi Riau. Artikulasi identitas kultural didalami menggunakan kerangka pemikiran Stuart Hall, sedangkan kepengaturan governmentality dianalisis dengan kerangka konseptual Michel Foucault. Terjadi kontestasi antar berbagai identitas kultural yang diwarnai dengan relasi kekuasaan yang rumit antara aktor-aktor di Jakarta dan Riau. ...... This study discusses various articulations of cultural identities in Riau Province, which arise as responses to the governmentality of decentralization. Riau as one of the provinces with the largest income per capita, is a success story of post Soeharto decentralization. The province is also home to the largest Malay group in Indonesia. However, they are not the majority population in Riau. Articulation of cultural identity is explored from the perspective of Stuart Hall, while governmentality is analised using Michel Foucault rsquo s conceptual framework. There are contestations among diverse cultural identities colored by complex power relations between actors in Jakarta and Riau.

Abstrak :
Artikel ini membahas artikulasi identitas orang Indo di Belanda. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan identitas Indo yang ditampilkan oleh blogger melalui objek, pilihan warna dan tata letak pada laman/blog mereka. Data yang digunakan tiga laman/blog, yaitu Indisch4ever.nu, hoezoindo.nl dan nusantara.nl. Dalam artikel ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan teori yang digunakan adalah teori artikulasi Stuart Hall. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa artikulasi identitas Indo yang ditampilkan melalui berbagai objek yang merepresentasikan budaya Indo, Belanda dan Indonesia. Pilihan warna, dan tata letak dimunculkan sesuai dengan peran laman/blog.

This paper discusses the articulation of the Indo's identity in The Netherlands. This research aims to explain the Indo's identity that is shown by indo's blogger through an object, color selection and layout on their sites/blog. The datas used in this research are Indisch4ever.nu, hoezoindo.nl dan nusantara.nl. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method and the theory used is Stuart Hall's articulation theory. The results of the analysis indicates that the articulation of Indo's identity is displayed through various objects that represent Indo's, Dutch and Indonesian cultures. Color selection and layout that are shown are based on the role of the site/blog.
