Abstrak :
Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang pakaian tradisional di Tunisia. Pakaian tradisional di Tunisia ternyata mengalami asimilasi dengan budaya luar yang pernah datang sebelum mereka berdaulat. Dalam sejarahnya, Tunisia pernah dikuasai oleh kekaisaran Romawi Byzantium, Dinasti Umayyah dan Abbasiyyah, bangsa Turki melalui Dinasi Utsmani, hingga Perancis yang memiliki budaya yang berbeda-beda. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dan analisis data untuk mengungkap asimilasi budaya dalam pakaian tradisional Tunisia, serta kerangka teori yang digunakan pada penulisan ini adalah teori kebudayaan oleh Koentjaraningrat. Proses asimilasi budaya yang terjadi, dapat dilihat dari keberagaman pakaian adat yang biasa digunakan masyarakat modern Tunisia sekarang ini. ......This article explains the traditional clothes from Tunisia. These traditional clothes are the results from assimilation processes with other cultures which had ever come into Tunisia before it was independent. Looking from its history, Tunisia had been ruled by various conquerors, such as Byzantine Empire, Umayyah and Abasiyyah empire, Utsmani Empire which, and finally French colonialism. This article uses literature review and data analysis to discover cultural assimilation in Tunisian traditional clothes. This article also uses Koentjaraningrat’s theory of culture. The process of cultural assimilation can be revealed through the variety of Tunisian traditional clothed which are usually worn by modern Tunisian societies.

Skripsi ini membahas rumah tradisional Betawi di Condet pada awal sampai pertengahan abad ke 20 dengan meninjau dari segi gaya arsitekturnya Tujuan penulisan adalah untuk mencari latar budaya yang berpengaruh pada rumah tradisional Betawi di Condet Untuk mengungkapkannya dilakukan dengan menelusuri pembentukan etnik Betawi yang terjadi karena adanya proses asimilasi dari berbagai etnik Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu membandingkan arsitektur tradisional Betawi dengan arsitektur tradisional lain yang terdapat di Nusantara ataupun dari pengaruh asing Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan menunjukkan bahwa rumah tradisional Betawi di Condet dipengaruhi oleh budaya dari etnik Jawa Sunda Melayu Eropa Arab dan Cina
This thesis discusses about the Betawi traditional house in Condet from the beginning until the mid of 20th century by reviewing of its architecture style The aim this thesis is to find the cultural background that came into the Betawi traditional house in Condet We need to explore how Betawi ethnic formed as an assimilation among certain ethnics in order to reveal the secret The method used in research that compares the Betawi traditional architecture with other traditional architecture in Indonesia or from foreign influence Results of the research were found indicate that the Betawi traditional house in Condet is influenced by the culture of Java Sunda Malay Europe Arab and China etnics.

Tulisan ini secara umum memaparkan bagaimana orang Tionghoa Indonesia dipahami dewasa ini dan sejauh mana kebijakan asimilasi yang disuarakan oleh pemerintah Orde Baru mempengaruhi mereka dalam proses penggantian agama. Kemudian dipaparkan pula bagaimana mereka memandang diri mereka dalam bersosialisasi dengan pribumi, setelah memeluk agama Islam. Metode yang dipakai dalam menyusun penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan di bidang Sosial dan Budaya serta penelitian lapangan melalui serangkaian wawancara dengan tokoh-tokoh yang paham mengenai masalah Tionghoa Indonesia dan Islam. Di akhir penelitian terlihat bahwa selain karena adanya kebijakan mengenai asimilasi, terdapat pula beberapa faktor lain yang mendorong orang Tionghoa Indonesia memutuskan memeluk agama Islam. Asimilasi bukanlah satu-satunya faktor yang mendorong mereka untuk memeluk agama Islam.

Penelitian ini mendiskripsikan peran nilai-nilai budaya multikultural dalam proses pembentukan budaya organisasi yang khas di lingkungan sekolah internasional, dan menjelaskan bahwa budaya organisasi dibentuk melalui beberapa elemen pembentuknya, yaitu gaya kepemimpinan, asimilasi budaya asing, hubungan antara karyawan lokal dan asing, dan juga melalui perbedaan budaya yang ada, termasuk perbedaan bahasa, etos kerja, kebiasaan, dan tradisi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi berperan serta dan wawancara terhadap narasumber. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan (1) Nilai-nilai budaya masuk melalui berbagai strategi komunikasi yang diprakarsai oleh pemimpin organisasi, dan diadopsi oleh unit-unit organiasasi di bawahnya, serta dominasi peran nilai budaya Indonesia sebagai jembatan yang menghubungkan unit-unit organisasi yang berbeda budaya. (2) Pemimpin memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk budaya organisasi. (3) Budaya asing dan budaya Indonesia memiliki peran yang sama besar dan sama penting dalam membentuk budaya organisasi. (4) Ada hubungan timbal balik yang positif yang terjadi antar karyawan yang berbeda budaya di dalam organisasi, dan budaya organisasi yang ada di Jakarta Nanyang School merupakan budaya yang spesifik dan merupakan perpaduan antara budaya asing dan budaya Indonesia.

This study describes the contributions of multicultural values in the process of specific organization culture constructing in an international school, and describes that the organizational culture in Jakarta Nanyang School is constructed through some elements, such as leadership style, foreign culture assimilation, relationship between local and foreign employees, and through the culture differences, including language, work ethics, habits, and traditions. This study used a descriptive qualitative method through participant observation and in-depth interview with sources. The result of this study describes (1) Cultural values enter in through various communication strategies done by the organization leader, and followed by other organization units, and the domination contribution of Indonesian cultures as a bridge to connecting the organization units who has culture differences. (2) A leader of an organization has a massive contribution to build an organization culture. (3) Foreign culture and Indonesian local culture have the same contribution in constructing organizational culture. Skripsi ini membahas pemertahanan tradisi pernikahan pada keluarga keturunan Arab di Condet Jakarta Timur. Skripsi ini membahas perbedaan dan persamaan tradisi pernikahan pada keluarga keturunan Arab dahulu dan sekarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan keturunan Arab di Condet mengacu pada ajaran dan tradisi Islam, juga salah satu bentuk dari asimilasi terhadap kebudayaan sekitar. Tradisi pernikahan yang dipertahankan yaitu perjodohan,malam pacar, akad nikah, resepsi pernikahan, dan ngunduh mantu. Hanya waktu,tempat dan prosesi pelaksanaannya saja yang membedakannya antara dahulu dan sekarang.; ......This focus of this study is discusses retention wedding traditions in Arab families in Condet East Jakarta. This study is discusses the differences and similarities of the wedding on the family tradition of Arab descent past and present. This study used qualitative methods through interviews and observation. The results show that the marriage of Arab descent in Condet refers to the teachings and traditions of Islam, is also a form of assimilation to the surrounding culture. Tradition maintained that marriage matchmaking, malam pacar, ceremony, wedding reception, and ngunduh mantu. Only time, any place and procession implementation distinguishes between past and present.
