Abstrak :
Bid'ah merupakan persoalan mendasar dalam urusan agama Islam. Bid'ah adalah perkara baru yang belum pernah ada pada masa Rasulullah Saw. dan belum pernah ada contoh sebelumnya. Perbedaan pendapat para ulama tentang konsep bid'ah menyebabkan terbentuknya dua kelompok besar. Kelompok pertama yang berpendapat bahwa semua bid'ah itu sesat dan kelompok kedua yang mengakomodir adanya bid'ah hasanah. Perdebatan ini terus berlangsung hingga sekarang. Tentu hal ini akan mengancam persatuan dan kesatuan umat Islam.Di antara kitab yang dapat mewakili kedua kelompok tersebut adalah kitab Al-Bida' Wal Muhdatsat Wama La Ashla Lahu karya Hammud Bin Abdullah Al-Mathar dan Kitab Al-Mutasyaddidun Manhajuhum Wa Munaqasyatu Ahammi Qadhayahum karya Ali Jum'ah. Adanya perbedaan pandangan seputar konsep bid'ah ini telah memunculkan sejumlah pertanyaan. Bagaimana konsep bid'ah menurut para ulama salaf terdahulu ? Bagaimana konsep bid'ah menurut kitab kedua kitab tersebut? Bagaimana konsep bid'ah menurut ahlus sunnah wal jama'ah? Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan konsep bid'ah menurut kedua kitab tersebut dan menemukan perbedaannya. Serta merumuskan konsep bid'ah yang sesuai ahlus sunnah wal jama'ah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan jenis penelitian yaitu studi kepustakaan. Dalam analisis data penulis menerapkan metode komparatif untuk mencari persamaan dan perbedaannya. Dalam penelitian ini juga digunakan pendekatan semiotika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan adanya perbedaan konsep bid'ah yang sangat mendasar antara kedua kitab tersebut, terutama dalam pembuatan kategori dan ruang lingkup bid'ah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep bid'ah yang disajikan kedua kitab sangat berlawanan, maka penulis membuat sintesis konsep bid'ah menurut ahlus sunnah wal jama'ah yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pijakan bagi umat Islam. ...... Bid'ah is a fundamental problem in Islamic religion affairs. Bid'ah is a new case that had never existed in the time of the Prophet and there had not been previous example . Differences of opinion of the scholars on the concept of bid'ah led to the formation of two large groups. The first group believes that all bid'ah astray otherwise the second group accommodate bid'ah hasanah. This debate still continues until now. Of course this will threaten the unity of Moslems. The ideas that can represent both groups are the book Al Bida'Wal Muhdatsat Wama La Ashla Lahu by Hammud Bin Abdullah Al Mathar and the book Al Mutasyaddidun Manhajuhum Wa Munaqasyatu Ahammi Qadhayahum by Ali Jum'ah. The difference in views about the concept of bid'ah has raised a number of questions. How is the concept of bid'ah by the scholars of the Salaf How are the concept of bid'ah in those books How is concept of bid'ah by ahlus sunnah wal jama 39 ah This research aims to outline the concept of bid'ah explained in those books, finds the differences and formulates the properly concept of bid'ah according to ahlus sunnah wal jama 39 ah. This study used qualitative method based on literature research. In the data analysis applied comparative method to determine the similarities and differences. This study also used semiotics approach. Based on the research results, have been found a very fundamental difference in the concept of bid'ah between both books. Especially in the creating category and scope of bid'ah. It can be concluded that the concept of bid'ah presented by two books is very opposite. The writer makes the synthesis of the concept of bid'ah according to ahlus sunnah wal jama 39 ah which can be a guidence for the Moslems.
