Artikel ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk menunjukan adanya kecenderungan gangguan kepribadian ambang pada tokoh utama dalam film Les Rivieres Pourpres The Crimson River . Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian kualitatif dengan ruang lingkup aspek sinematografis dan aspek naratif yang ditampilkan dalam film tersebut, yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan teori psikologis Borderline Personality Dissorder. Hasil penelitian memaparkan bagaimana gangguan kepribadian ambang Borderline Personality Dissorder ditunjukan pada dua tokoh utama yang diperankan oleh Jean Reno dan Vincent Cassel.
