Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa konsentrasi Medium Ekstrak Tauge (MET) terhadap kerapatan sel mikroalga marga Scenedesmus Meyen selama 10 hari pengamatan telah dilakukan. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap terdiri atas 8 perlakuan, yaitu MET 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, akuabides, dan Medium Basal Bold (MBB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi MET mempengaruhi kerapatan sel Scenedesmus. Rerata kerapatan sel tertinggi (3.981.071 sel/mL) pada saat peak terjadi dalam media perlakuan MET 4% pada pengamatan hari ke-7. Rerata kerapatan sel terendah (87.096 sel/mL) pada saat peak terjadi dalam media perlakuan akuabides pada pengamatan hari ke-3. Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rerata kerapatan sel Scenedesmus (sel/ml) (p>0,05) antarmedia perlakuan. Hasil uji perbandingan berganda menunjukkan rerata kerapatan sel Scenedesmus berbeda sangat nyata (p>0,05) antara media perlakuan akuabides dengan MET 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, dan MBB.
The effect of Tauge Extract Medium (TEM) concentration to the growth of Subang isolated Scenedesmus. Research on the effect of several concentration of Tauge Extract Medium (TEM) to Scenedesmus Meyen cell densities was conducted. The research was an experimental study with complete random design with 8 treatments, i.e. 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6% TEM, aqua bides, and Bold Basal Medium (BBM). The results showed that TEM concentration effected cell densities of Scenedesmus. At peak condition, the highest cell density (3.981.071 sel/mL) was occurred in 4% at the day of seven, and the lowest cell density (87.096 sel/mL) in aqua bides at the day of three. Kruskal-Wallis test showed that there were differences between the mean of cell densities on all treatment media. Multiple comparison test showed that mean of cell numbers of Scenedesmus differed among treatments (p value􀀾0,05) between aqua bides with 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, and BBM.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh derajat keasaman (pH) awal Medium Ekstrak Tauge (MET) terhadap kerapatan sel mikroalga marga Chlorella Beijerinck pada saat peak. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan, yaitu nilai pH awal media 5, 6, 7, 8, dan 9. Kerapatan sel tertinggi (5.677.625 sel/ml) pada saat peak terjadi dalam media perlakuan pH awal 7. Kerapatan sel terendah (3.374.100 sel/ml) pada saat peak terjadi dalam media perlakuan pH awal 5. Hasil uji Anova (pada pï?¾0,05) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pH awal media perlakuan yang berbeda terhadap kerapatan sel Chlorella (sel/ml) saat peak. Hasil uji perbandingan berganda terhadap kerapatan sel Chlorella saat peak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata (p>0,05) pada setiap media perlakuan, kecuali antar media perlakuan pH awal 8 dengan pH awal 9.
