Abstrak :
In this first authoritative overview on modern cancer chemotherapy 121 international specialists have contributed their experience and recent data for what is likely to become the gold standard in the field. The authors summarize knowledge gained over the past decade, from basic concepts to successful applications in the clinic, covering active and passive targeting strategies as well as tissue-specific approaches. All current and future targeted delivery systems are discussed, from ligand-based to antibody-based polymer-based systems, right up to micro- and nanoparticulate systems. A special section covers the delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics, such as siRNA, miRNA and antisense nucleotides. In each case, a description of the basic technique is followed by a discussion of the latest preclinical and clinical developments in the field.

Sediaan kemoterapi yang beragam dapat ditemui dalam melakukan pelayanan kesehatan terhadap pasien kemoterapi di Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia. Beragamnya jenis sediaan kemoterapi mengakibatkan butuhnya suatu pedoman khusus berupa monografi sediaan kemoterapi yang berisi tentang informasi yang dibutuhkan terkait obat kemoterapi yang digunakan di rumah sakit tersebut. Tujuan dirumuskannya suatu monografi sediaan obat, diantaranya untuk membantu memastikan keselamatan pasien, mengonfirmasi bahwa obat yang diberikan kepada pasien memenuhi harapan kualitas untuk keamanan dan efektivitas, serta dapat digunakan oleh bagian rekonstitusi sediaan kemoterapi di rumah sakit tersebut untuk memberi tahu dokter, apoteker, dokter gigi, perawat, dan profesional kesehatan lainnya terkait penggunaan obat yang tepat. Obat-obatan kemoterapi yang tersedia di Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia terdiri atas beberapa kandungan zat aktif, seperti vinkristin sulfat, metotreksat, rituximab, etoposid, doksorubisin, 5-Fluorourasil, cisplatin, carboplatin, kalsium folinat, bortezomib, serta bleomisin hidroklorida. Monografi sediaan kemoterapi yang digunakan pasien kanker di Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia perlu dirumuskan dengan baik dengan mencangkup beberapa aspek, seperti nama sediaan, indikasi, dosis, regimen obat, efek samping, indikator klinis yang perlu dimonitor, dan interaksi obat yang perlu diwaspadai. Perumusan monografi sediaan kemoterapi tersebut dilakukan agar mempermudah dalam melakukan penelusuran literatur, baik dari segi rekonstitusi hingga pemantauan klinis. ......Various chemotherapy drugs can be found in providing health services to chemotherapy patients at the University of Indonesia Hospital. The various types of chemotherapy preparations result in the need for a special guideline in the form of a monograph of chemotherapy preparations which contains the information needed regarding the chemotherapy drugs used in the hospital. The purpose of formulating a drug monograph is to help ensure patient safety, confirm that the drugs given to patients meet quality expectations for safety and effectiveness, and can be used by the chemotherapy preparations reconstitution department in the hospital to notify doctors, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and other health professionals regarding the appropriate use of medications. Chemotherapy drugs available at the University of Indonesia Hospital consist of several active ingredients, such as vincristine sulfate, methotrexate, rituximab, etoposide, doxorubicin, 5-Fluorouracil, cisplatin, carboplatin, calcium folinate, bortezomib, and bleomycin hydrochloride. The monograph of chemotherapy drugs used by cancer patients at the University of Indonesia Hospital needs to be well formulated by covering several aspects, such as preparation name, indication, dosage, drug regimen, side effects, clinical indicators that need to be monitored, and drug interactions that need to be watched out for. The formulation of the monograph of chemotherapy preparations was carried out in order to make it easier to conduct a literature search, both in terms of reconstitution and clinical monitoring.
