Penelitian ini membahas mengenai minat baca anak di Sekolah Citra Alam Jakarta. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini yaitu minat baca anak pada usia masa tengah dan akhir yang berusia 8 ndash; 10 tahun yang memiliki nilai Bahasa Indonesia tertinggi dan terendah di kelas berdasarkan aspek-aspek minat baca anak yaitu keterampilan membaca, ketertarikan anak dalam membaca, lingkungan, tingkat ekonomi, tempat tinggal, usia, dan gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat anak dalam membaca di Sekolah Citra Alam. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan dan ketersediaan bahan bacaan merupakan faktor dominan yang memengaruhi minat baca anak. Sedangkan untuk aspek tingkat ekonomi tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat baca anak di Sekolah Citra Alam. ......This study discusses the children's interest in the Sekolah Alam Jakarta. Issues discussed in this research that children's interest in ages past middle and end were aged 8 10 years have a value of Indonesian highs and lows in the classroom based on aspects of children's interest in which reading skills, child's interest in reading, the environment, economic level, place of residence, age, and gender. This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect a child's interest in reading in the Sekolah Citra Alam. The approach used in this study is qualitative case study method. The results of this study indicate that the environment and the availability of reading materials is the dominant factor affecting children's interest. As for the aspects of economic levels do not affect the children's interest in the Sekolah Citra Alam.

Skripsi ini membahas peningkatan minat baca anak melalui mendongeng. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perpustakaan Pustaka Kelana Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, dibatasi pada kelompok anak yang merupakan anggota Perpustakaan Pustaka Kelana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kegiatan yang dilakukan Perpustakaan Pustaka Kelana untuk meningkatkan minat baca anak melalui kegiatan mendongeng di perpustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, anak yang gemar mendengarkan mendongeng memiliki minat membaca yang cukup baik. Sehingga kegiatan ini harus terus dikembangkan dan dilakukan secara rutin di perpustakaan.
The Focus of this study is the relationship between storytelling and increased interest in the part of children in readin. The study was conducted at Pustaka Kelana Library in Rawamangun, East Jakarta. Methodologically, this is a case study limited to children who are members of that library. The study concludes that children who enjoy hearing stories told, have a higher interest in reading. As such, storytelling is an activity that should be further developed, and regularly held at the libraries.
