"Counting bacteria colonies uses Total Plate Count (TPC) method which is
generally done by seeing, counting, naked eyes and time consuming. The aim of research is to make an image processing algorithm that is able to count the total bacteria colonies on the TPC method which is can be applied without any special equipment, and to provide informations about the best configuration in its application. This research was done by making an image processing algorithm based on gray-scale image segmentation, using MATLAB, and testing its accuracy in counting bacteria colonies. The result showed that the optimal threshold value for black background is between 0.67 and 0.79, and the optimal threshold value for white background was between 0.01 and 0.09. This experiment revealed that low value o f disk shape morphological structuring element could give the optimal detection of bacteria colonies. In conclutions, the total numbers of bacteria colonies which was counted by gray-scale image segmentation which one of image processing algorithm method was not statistically different compared to manual counting. Automation is one side o f technology that can help human doing something with easiness and simplicity. Digital image processing is one kind o f automation. Counting bacteria colonies using Total Plate Count (TPC) commonly done by counting bacteria colonies manually, it was very time consuming. The aim of this

A good detection o f bacteria colonies was depends on the configuration o f some parameters, such as color sampling, value o f color tolerance, shape and value o f morphological structuring element."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah persuasi visual, dalam penelitian ini berupa penggunaan warna dan kedalaman gambar (image depth), berpengaruh terhadap penilaian cepat (snap judgment) pemilih kepada kandidat. Pengaruh tersebut dilihat setelah subyek penelitian mendapatkan selebaran politik yang berisi gambar kandidat dengan warna pakaian dan kedalaman gambar tertentu, dengan satu selebaran politik berisi gambar wajah kandidat sebagai kontrol.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah eksperimen laboratorium. Penelitian menggunakan desain post experiment dengan empat kelompok perlakuan dan satu kelompok kontrol. Masing-masing kelompok mendapatkan paparan stimulus atau perlakuan yang berbeda. Setelah itu, perbedaaan rerata dari variabel yang diukur dari masing-masing kelompok akan diamati.
Penelitian ini menguji teori-teori yang mempertimbangkan perilaku memilih kandidat pada jalur peripheral alias irrasional. Dalam teori-teori tersebut, individu dapat membuat penilaian secara cepat, bahkan memutuskan ciri personalitas seseorang. Berbekal penilaian cepat itu pemilih dapat membuat keputusan dalam memilih kandidat.
Lewat serangkaian uji beda untuk membedakan respon masing-masing kelompok maupun hubungan antara konsep ditemukan bahwa persuasi visual berupa warna dan kedalaman gambar dapat memunculkan respon yang berbeda.

This study aimed to see wether visual persuasion, in this case in particular color and image depth, can give immidiate effect to voter?s snap judgment. The effect will be observe after a political ad pamphlets with candidate image with particular color clothes dan image depth being given to this study?s subject, and one phamplet with candidate face image to control.
The method used in this study was a laboratory experiment. This study used post experiment design with four treatment groups and one control group. Each group get exposure to different stimulus or treatment. Then, the differences between the mean of the measured variable of each group being observed.
This study examined the theories that consider voter behaviour through peripheral path or irrational. In these theories, an individual can make snap judgment, even decide the personality traits of a person. With it, voters can make a decision in voting the candidate.
Trough a sequence of different test to compare the response of each group and each related concept, it was found that visual persuasion with color and image depth can bring different responses.

"Kriptografi merupakan suatu ilmu yang mempelajari teknik-teknik untuk menyandikan informasi. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dikaji mengenai Visual Secret Sharing Scheme (VSSS), yang merupakan cabang studi dari kriptografi yang digunakan untuk mengamankan pesan berupa citra digital. Citra digital dienkripsi sehingga menghasilkan beberapa citra digital (transparan) yang kemudian didistribusikan ke sejumlah partisipan (orang) yang ditentukan. Proses dekripsi atau rekonstruksi citra dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan indera penglihatan manusia, yaitu dengan mencetak transparan pada lembar transparan kemudian menumpuknya. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas mengenai bagaimana mengkonstruksi VSSS untuk citra biner, selanjutnya dengan memanfaatkan teknik halftone dan dekomposisi warna, akan dikonstruksi VSSS untuk citra grayscale dan citra warna bersasarkan konstruksi VSSS untuk citra biner tersebut.

Cryptography is a knowledge about several techniques to encode and decode information. In this skripsi, the construction of Visual Secret Sharing Scheme (VSSS) as a branch of cryptography will be discussed., VSSS is used to secure messages in the form of digital images. Digital image will be encrypted to produce a number of digital image (called transparent) which is then distributed to a number of participants (people). Decryption process or image reconstruction can be done by using the human senses of sight,. The result image, namely the transparent, is printed on transparent sheets and then stacked its together to recover the original image. In this skripsi, the discussion is focused on how to construct the VSSS for color image. First the VSSS will be constructed for binary image, then by using the decomposition technique and halftone technique, the VSSS for grayscale and color images based on the construction of VSSS for the binary image will be constructed."
