Abstrak :
In mobile communication, handoff is a very important event. It affects to the overall quality performance of mobile application. There are two types of handoff, hard handoff and soft handoff. Hard handoff is also known as 'break before make' handoff, which means break the current connection first, and then make a new connection to the new cell. Different with soft handoff, it is possible to make a new connection to the new cell before breaking the current connection. It is because soft handoff is usually used in CDMA network which the cells work in the same frequency. Soft handoff is also known as 'make before break' handoff. In this project, the students are simulating the soft handoff of cdma2000 by MATLAB programming. The uniqueness of the soft handoff of cdma2000 as the third generation (3G) is cdma2000 uses dynamic thresholds for optimizing its system performance and efficiency, investigating the effect of this dynamic threshold value is the aim of this project.

Tesis desain ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi ide dan metode Rewilding Architecture. Gagasan Rewilding didasarkan pada gerakan Pastoralism yang bertujuan untuk menghubungkan kembali manusia dengan alam melalui pengenalan kembali kehidupan liar. Penelitian perancangan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yang terdiri dari kajian literatur, analisis sepuluh proyek Rewilding, hasil eksplorasi, dan penyusunan skenario. Tesis ini menemukan bahwa ada tiga ide dasar untuk dapat menciptakan arsitektur rewilding yaitu connection, extension, dan variation yang ide ini kemudian dituangkan pada skenario untuk melihat bagaimana mekanismenya. Kerangka desain ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai desain yang dapat menciptakan hubungan antara alam dan manusia, bagaimana seharusnya manusia bertindak dan mengapresiasi alam. ......This design thesis aims to explore the ideas and methods of Rewilding Architecture. The idea of Rewilding is based on the Pastoralism movement which aims to reconnect humans with nature through the reintroduction of wildlife. The research design was carried out through several stages consisting of literature review, analysis of the ten Rewilding projects, exploration results, and scenario development. This thesis finds that there are three basic ideas to be able to create a rewilding architecture, namely connections, extensions, and variations. These ideas are then poured into scenarios to see how the mechanism works. This design method can be used as a design that can create a relationship between nature and humans, how humans should act and appreciate nature.

Beton pracetak menawarkan beberapa keunggulan dibandingkan dengan beton cor-in-situ, di mana ia memiliki biaya yang lebih rendah dan lebih cepat untuk dibangun. Namun, kepercayaan menggunakan pracetak masih rendah karena pengetahuan menggunakannya. Selain itu, kinerja struktural beton pracetak ditentukan oleh hubungan antara anggota pracetak dengan anggota. Hubungan antara tangga pracetak yang terhubung dengan komponen pracetak lainnya jarang dibahas. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami sambungan dan metode konstruksi tangga pracetak. Di sini, jenis koneksi ditentukan melalui tinjauan pustaka. Kemudian, beberapa sambungan dipilih, diterapkan, dan dianalisa pada sebuah bangunan melalui studi kasus Rumah Sakit XYZ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sambungan yang diterapkan pada Rumah Sakit XYZ sudah layak digunakan. Selanjutnya, desain, produksi, transportasi, dan pemasangan tangga dapat didiskusikan ......Precast concrete offer several advantages compare to cast-in-situ, where it has lower cost and faster to construct. However, the confidence of using precast is still low due to the knowledge of utilising it. Moreover, structural performance of precast concrete is determined by the connection between precast member to member. The connection between precast stair connected to other precast component is rarely discuss. Therefore, the aim of this study is to understand the connection and construction method of precast stair. Here, types of connection is determined through literature review. Then, some connection is selected, applied, and analysed to a building through a case study of Hospital XYZ. The result shows that the connections that is applied to Hospital XYZ is adequate to be used. Furthermore, design, production, transportation, and erection of stairs is able to be discussed

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh koneksi politik terhadap strategi diversifikasi perusahaan swasta publik dan BUMN di Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga menguji apakah terdapat perbedaan pengaruh koneksi politik yang berasal dari militer dengan koneksi politik yang berasal dari pemerintahan. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini juga menguji apakah perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara memoderasi pengaruh koneksi politik terhadap strategi diverisifikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari periode 2014-2016 dengan sampel sebanyak 903. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh koneksi terhadap strategi diversifikasi berpengaruh negatif, dimana terdapat perbedaan antara fungsi koneksi politik militer dan pemerintahan, namun perusahaan yang berkarakteristik BUMN tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap strategi diversifikasi. Koneksi politik tidak terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap strategi diversifikasi perusahaan. Namun pada perusahaan swasta, koneksi politik yang berasal dari pemerintah terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap strategi diversifikasi. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa eksekutif pemerintah tidak lagi melakukan rangkap jabatan dalam atau semasa tugasnya, selain itu dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan juga kemudahan perizinan sebagai salah satu upaya perusahaan untuk mendiversifikasi lini bisnisnya untuk lebih transparan dan lebih dipermudah sehingga perusahaan tidak lagi membutuhkan koneksi politik

ABSTRACT<>br> This research is aim to test the effect of political connection on corporate diversification for listed companies and state owned enterprise. This research is also to test whether there is a different of effect between a military connection and a government connection. Furthermore, this research is also to test whether state owned enterprise will moderate the effect of political connection on corporate diversification. This research is done from 2014 2016 with a 903 sample of observation. This research shows that the effect of political connection is negatively significant whereas, there is a different of effect between a military connection and government connection, however companies that is catagorized as a state owned enterprise shows that effect of political connection on corporate diversification is insignificant. The effect of political connection is proven to be not positive. However for the private listed companies there is a positive significant effect of political connection on corporate diversification. Hopefully with this research, the ldquo dual position rdquo especially coming from government is no longer needed and in addition the ease of doing business in Indonesia can be more transparent so that firm will no longer need the political connection to diversify itself

Abstrak :
In this study connection between cable and pylon in a cable stayed bridge was experimentally investigated A structural model of cable stayed bridge was manufactured where connection between cable and pylon was pulley, sliding or hinged type. Pulley connection is a connection which is able to rotate without any function between cable and pylon. To obtain longitudinal stifness and dynamic characteristics (such as fundamental natural frequency and damping ratio), static load test and free vibration test were carried out. Dynamic responses of bridge structure were obtained Font harmonic forced vibration test. Using a shaking table, excitation in the longitudinal direction was applied to that model. Then longitudinal deflection at the top of pylon was measured Results of the model test shown that the pylon with hinged connection Ls more rigid and its deflection could be minimal but has low damping ratio. While sliding type connection is more flexible but has high damping ratio. Damping ratio was strongly influence by functions occurred in the bridge.

Hubungan emosional muncul sebagai pendorong terkuat untuk membeli barang yang berhubungan dengan idola K-Pop favorit mereka. Tan Xuan Ni (2023) menemukan bahwa respons emosional dan kognitif yang kuat mendorong niat membeli barang idola yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh hubungan emosional ketika idola K-Pop ditunjuk menjadi duta merek terhadap perilaku pembelian terhadap produk atau layanan yang didukung, di Asia Tenggara, dengan fokus di Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Thailand. Peran idola K-Pop sebagai duta merek berdampak signifikan terhadap perilaku pembelian. Kusumawardhany dan Karya (2024) menyoroti bahwa kesukaan dan daya tarik idola K-Pop menjadikannya alat periklanan yang kuat, sehingga meningkatkan penjualan produk yang didukung. Temuan ini didukung oleh Kirana (2021), yang mencatat bahwa peluncuran produk terkait secara terus-menerus meningkatkan efek idola, sehingga meningkatkan antusiasme dan loyalitas konsumen dalam fandom. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka, yaitu analisis dan evaluasi kritis terhadap penelitian-penelitian yang sudah ada dan berhubungan langsung dengan topik yang dituju. This study explores the influence of emotional connection when K-Pop idols are appointed to be a brand ambassador on purchasing behavior towards products or services endorsed, in South-East Asia, focusing on Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The role of K-Pop idols as brand ambassadors significantly impacts purchasing behavior. Kusumawardhany and Karya (2024) emphasized that the attractiveness and charm of K-Pop idols render them influential marketing instruments, enhancing the sales of sponsored merchandise. As Kirana (2021) found, the regular introduction of related products intensifies the idol effect and increases fanbase enthusiasm and loyalty. The approach used is a literature review, which means carefully assessing and analyzing earlier studies that have a direct bearing on the chosen topic. Clarifying how collectability of brand ambassadors and emotional connection affect K-Pop product purchases in South East Asia is the aim of this study. It attempts to provide a thorough knowledge of how, in this particular cultural setting, consumer emotions and marketing tactics interact.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, menganalisis pengaruh hubungan politik, terhadap kompensasi manajemen dengan mempertimbangkan manajemen laba (baik akrual, riil maupun, agregat) sebagai pemediasi yang didasarkan, pada teori keagenan. Sampel penelitian adalah perusahaan, non keuangan yang terdaftar, di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun, 2014-2016 dengan jumlah observasi 337. Penelitian ini menemukan bukti, bahwa hubungan politik berpengaruh, negatif signifikan terhadap kompensasi manajemen dan manajemen laba riil berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kompensasi manajemen. Namun hubungan politik tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba (baik akrual, rill maupun agregat. Selain itu tidak ditemukan bukti adanya pengaruh tidak langsung hubungan politik terhadap kompensasi manajemen melalui manajemen laba (baik akrual, riil maupun agregat). ...... This study aims to analyze the influence of political connection on management compensation by considering earnings management (accruals, real and aggregates) as a based mediator on agency theory. The research sample is a listed non-financial company, in Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2014-2016 with 337 observations. This research finds evidence that political connection has a significant negative effect on management compensation and earnings management has a significant positive effect on management compensation. However, political connection have not been proven to affect earnings management (accruals, real, and aggregate) and there is no evidence of indirect influence of political connection on management compensation through earnings management (accruals, real, and aggregate).

Abstrak :
Indonesia merupakan kawasan rawan gempa, struktur bangunan yang dibutuhkan harus memiliki kekuatan dan daktalitas yang memadai sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Struktur bangunan dengan konfigurasi D-EBF merupakan salah satu solusi untuk struktur tahan gempa. Penggunaan material dan sambungan yang digunakan sangat mempengaruhi perilaku bangunan. Untuk mengetahui perilaku bangunan bisa menggunakan banyak metode dan salah satunya adalah pushover analysis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 2 buah aplikasi komputer yaitu ETABS sebagai pengecekan bangunan sesuai SNI dan Drain-2DX untuk melakukan analisis. Variasi material menggunakan baja WF dan komposit CFST membuktikan bahwa bangunan baja WF dengan luasan baja 2 kali lipat dari CFST lebih daktail tetapi tidak lebih kuat dan kaku dibandingkan CFST. Dengan rigiditas sambungan yang tinggi maka bangunan akan semakin kuat dan kaku tetapi daktalitas dari bangunan akan berkurang. Kekuatan dan kekakuan berbanding terbalik terhadap daktalitas. Pengaruh rigiditas sambungan untuk material baja WF dan CFST adalah sama. ......Indonesia earthquake prone areas, building structures that are needed must have adequate strength and ductility in accordance with the applicable rules. Building structures with the configuration of D EBF is one solution for earthquake resistant structures. The use of materials and the connection that was used greatly influences the behaviour of the building. To know the behavior of the building could use a lot of mehtod and one of them was pushover analysis. Research done with two fruity computer applications i.e ETABS as building appropriate checking rules and DRAIN 2DX to do anlysis. Variation of materials use WF steel and Composite CFST proves that steel buildings extents with WF steel two times of CFST more ductile but not stronger and stiffer than CFST. With the rigidity connection that high then the building will be more strong and stiff but ductility of the building wil be reduced. Strength and rigidity is inversely proportional against ductility. The influence of rigidity connection for materials WF Steel and CFST is the same.
