Abstrak :
Tugas Karya Akhir ini membahas tentang Pemberitaan kasus “Maharani” : Kajian Kriminologis Terkait Eksploitasi Perempuan dalam Media Online (studi kasus pemberitaan pada tempo.co.id). Alasan penulis memilih tema ini karena representasi dapat memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana pemberitaan di media khususnya media online dapat memberikan beragam makna kepada pembacanya. Di dalam menganalisa hasil penelusuran berita, penulis menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Yvonne Jewkes tentang nilai-nilai berita dan teori representasi dari Stuart Hall. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data berupa penelusuran data dengan memasukkan kata kunci di mesin pencari google. Dari hasil analisa didapat bahwa pemberitaan yang terkait dengan skandal sangat menarik minat pembaca dan representasi yang ditampilkan oleh media dapat membawa dampak media semakin mengeksploitasi dan mencari keuntungan atas pemberitaan tersebut. ......This final paper is discussing on the reporting "Maharani" case: Criminological Studies Related The Exploitation of Women In Online Media (case study reports on tempo.co.id). The writer finally choose this theme because representation could describe on how news report in media particularly through online media could build any senses to the audience. To analyze the news search, the writer use Yvonne Jewkes’ theory on news values and theory of representation from Stuart Hall. The methode used to collect the data is data retrieval by put the keywords on the google search engine. From analysis, it turns out that the news report related with scandal is much more atracted the audience and the representation revealed by media could exploit and try to earn the benefit from the news report.

Dalam sinema horor, gagasan tentang monster membangkitkan rasa takut dan/atau jijik yang diproyeksikan kepada sesosok figur monster yang dibentuk oleh narasi, yang seringkali adalah seorang ibu. Skripsi ini menjelaskan akar dari kecenderungan tersebut melalui kajian terhadap representasi ibu dalam film Perempuan Tanah Jahanam (2019) oleh Joko Anwar sebagai proyek Estetika Kriminologis. Melalui kerangka sistematis feminist Stylistics yang dirumuskan oleh Sara Mills (1995), perspektif Feminisme Matrisentris digunakan untuk menafsirkan visual film dengan sensitivitas terhadap peran keibuan, sementara implikasi mendalam dibaliknya dibedah melalui teori Spectatorship untuk memahami bagaimana film ini mengonstruksikan pandangan penonton terhadap karakter-karakter ibu. Temuan penelitian ini menyoroti kompleksitas film horror dalam menavigasikan dan mempertahankan prasangka masyarakat terhadap sosok ibu, dan pada akhirnya ditemukan bahwa representasi ibu dalam film berfungsi untuk meredakan kecemasan penonton terhadap gagasan ‘ibu’ sekaligus mengabaikan apa yang sebenarnya dibutuhkan oleh ibu untuk memproses kecemasan mereka. ......Within the horror cinema, the notion of the monstrous arouses fear and/or disgust projected onto a designated monster figure, often a mother. This thesis aims to explain the root of that tendency by examining the representations of mothers in the film Perempuan Tanah Jahanam (2019) by Joko Anwar as a project of Criminological Aesthetics. Through the systematic framework of Feminist Stylistics formulated by Sara Mills (1995), the immediately discernible images are assessed through Matricentric Feminist perspective so as to form a sensible perception of the maternal roles, while the deeper implication behind it is dissected by uncovering the relationship between the image and the audience through the theory of Spectatorship. The findings of this research shed light on the intricate patterns in which maternal horror film navigates and reinstates societal preconceptions of motherhood and concluded that the representation of mothers in films ultimately functions to diffuse the spectator’s anxiety about the idea of mothering while abandoning what actual mothers need to dissolve theirs.

ABSTRAK<>br> Karya akhir ini dibuat bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hegemoni maskulinitas dalam suatu Perda diskriminatif dapat mengopresi perempuan. Penulis melakukan analisis wacana kritis dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari Kajian Komisi Nasional Anti Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan serta dianalisis berlandaskan pada teori kriminologi feminis dan feminist legal theory. Hasil karya akhir ini menunjukan bahwa hegemoni maskulinitas dan pemikiran patriarki dalam masyarakat Indonesia menjadikan faktor munculnya Perda diskriminatif. Selain itu, Perda merupakan sebuah instrumen pemerintah yang dijadikan untuk mengontrol tubuh perempuan. Melalui Perda, laki-laki dapat mengopresi perempuan melalui teks dan implementasi Perda diskriminatif tersebut. Kata Kunci : Perda diskriminatif, hegemoni maskulinitas, opresi, tubuh perempuan,teori kriminologi feminis, feminist legal theory.

ABSTRACT<>br> This thesis aims to find out how hegemonic masculinity, through discriminative regional regulations, can oppressed women. Through critical analytical text method, this research was conducted by using a secondary data from National Commission on Violence Against Women 39 s research, analyzed based on feminist criminological theory and feminist legal theory. The result shows that hegemonic masculinity and patriarchal perspective that deeply ingrained in Indonesian society became the emergence of factors of any discriminative regional regulation. Moreover, the regional regulations act as governmental instruments to control women 39 s body. The oppression of women by men, thus, is done through the text and the implementation of these harmful regional regulations.
