"Permintaan emas yang terus meningkat serta cadangan sumber daya tambang yang terus menurun membuat dibutuhkanya sumber selain dari bijih emas. Salah satu sumber yang dapat diiolah adalah detox sludge hasil detoksifikasi dari ekstraksi emas yang rata-rata masih mengandung sebagian emas. Dalam proses pirometalurgi pada emas, umumnya menggunakan reduktor batu bara sebagai pemasok karbon untuk agen pereduksi. Namun, saat ini penggunaan dan pengolahan energi memegang peranan penting dalam keberlangsungan kehidupan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan batu bara sebagai bahan bakar tidak terbarukan yang semakin lama akan semakin menipis dan efeknya terhadap lingkungan bukan merupakan jawaban dari permasalahan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan agen pereduksi pengganti batu bara, salah satunya menggunakan biomassa. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan detox sludge dari PT X dengan menggunakan agen pereduksi dari arang cangkang kelapa sawit karena kandungan fixed carbon dan volatile matter yang ada dalam cangkang kelapa sawit dapat membentuk agen pereduksi oksida logam pada detox sludge Metode yang digunakan adalah reduksi langusng menggunakan muffle furnace dengan temperatur 900oC selama 60 menit dan variasi rasio massa dari pereduktor arang cangkang kelapa sawit. Selanjutnya, karakterisasi juga dilakukan sebelum dan setelah proses reduksi menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dan X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) untuk menentukan temperatur berdasarkan senyawa yang terdapat pada detox sludge. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan senyawa CuO yang mengalami reduksi dan CaCO3 yang terdekomposisi serta hasil %recovery logam tertinggi diperoleh dari proses reduksi adalah dengan perbandingan massa detox sludge dan massa reduktor sebesar 1:3 dengan %recovery masing-masing yakni Si (120,59%), S (78,75%), Ca (62,7%), Cu (40,38%), dan Ag(34,89%)
......The increasing demand for gold and the decreasing reserves of mining resources make it necessary for sources other than gold ore. One source that can be processed is the slag from gold extraction, which on average still contains some gold. In the pyrometallurgical process in gold, coal reducing agents are generally used as a carbon supplier for the reducing agent. However, the use and the processing of energy plays an important role in the sustainability of people's lives.. Therefore, the use of coal as a non-renewable fuel which is getting depleted over time and its effect on the environment is not the answer to this problem. Because it requires a reducing agent to replace coal, one of which uses biomass. In this study, detox sludge from PT X was investigated using a reducing agent from oil palm shells because the content of fixed carbon and volatile matter in the oil palm shell can form metal oxide reducing gas in the detox sludge. The method used is direct reduction using a muffle furnace with a temperature 900oC for 1 hour and a variation of the mass ratio of the oil palm shell as a reductor. Furthermore, characterization was also carried out before and after the reduction process using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) to determine the temperature based on the compounds contained in the detox sludge. The results obtained in this study showed that the reduced CuO and CaCO3 compounds were decomposed and the %recovery obtained from the reduction process was the ratio of the detoxification mass andthe reducing mass of 1: 3 with %recovery respectively, namely Si (120, 59%). , S (78.75%), Ca (62.7%), Cu (40.38%), and Ag (34.89%)"

"Detox sludge merupakan salah satu sumber mineral yang memiliki potensial yang besar untuk dilakukan proses pengolahan dan pemurnian. Salah satu metode untuk proses pengolahan detox sludge yaitu dengan cara proses reduksi karbotermik. Proses karbotermik sering digunakan untuk mereduksi suatu mineral, dimana proses reduksi karbotermik membutuhkan reduktor untuk mereduksi unsur-unsur lain yang terdapat pada detox sludge. Reduktor yang biasa digunakan pada proses reduksi karbotermik adalah batubata dan kokas. Tetapi penggunaan batubara memiliki banyak efek negatif bagi lingkungan, maka dari itu pada penelitian ini reduktor yang digunakan adalah biomassa, yaitu cangkang kelapa sawit yang dipanaskan hingga suhu 900˚C agar menjadi arang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan detox sludge yang berasal dari proses pengolahan emas dan tembaga dan cangkang kelapa sawit berasal dari Palangkaraya, Kalimantan Tengah. Detox sludge dan cangkang kelapa sawit di preparasi terlebih dahulu sebelum dilakukan proses reduksi karbotermik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi waktu reduksi detox sludge, dengan rasio massa dan temperature yang tetap. Variasi waktu reduksi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 menit, 60 menit, dan 120 menit. Seluruh sampel diuji pada suhu 900˚ dan rasio massa 1:2 ( detox sludge: cangkang kelapa sawit) yang dimasukan kedalam krusibel keramik dan dilakukan reduksi karbotermik di dalam tungku. Hasil XRD menyatakan bahwa terjadinya penghilangan puncak calcite yang menandakan sudah terjadi proses reduksi pada calcite dan adanya penambahan senyawa yaitu alumina. Hasil XRF menunjukan bahwa pada waktu reduksi selama 90 menit merupakan waktu optimum karena didapatkan %recovery disemua kandungan paling tinggi diantara variasi waktu lainnya.
......Detox sludge is a mineral source that has great potential for processing and refining. One of the method for the processing of detox sludge is a carbothermic reduction process. Carbothermic processes are often used to reduce a mineral, where the carbothermic reduction process requires a reducing agent to reduce other elements present in detox sludge. Reductors that are commonly used in the carbothermic reduction process are coal and coke. But the use of coal has many negative effects on the environment, therefore in this study the reducing agent used is biomass, namely pal kernel shells. In this study, detox sludge originating from the processing of gold and copper and palm kernel shells from Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. Detox sludge and palm kernel shells are prepared first before carrying out the carbothermic reduction process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the reduction time of detox sludge, with a fixed ratio of mass and temperature. The reduction time variations in this study were 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 120 minutes. All samples were tested at a temperature of 900˚ and a mass ratio of 1: 2 (detox sludge: palm kernel shell) which was inserted into the ceramic crucible and the carbothermic reduction was carried out in the furnace. After the reduction process is complete the detox sludge will be separated from the oil palm shell and carried out by XRD and XRF testing to determine the optimum time for the carbothermic reduction process. XRD results state that the occurrence of calcite peak removal that indicates there has been a reduction process in calcite and the addition of compounds namely alumina. XRF results show that at a reduction time of 90 minutes is the optimum time because %recovery is obtained in all the highest content among other time variations."

"Emas merupakan logam mulia yang memiliki banyak keunggulan dibanding logam lainnya. Karena luasnya bidang aplikasi emas dan seiring berkembangnya teknologi, kebutuhan emas dunia terus meningkat. Peningkatan ini mendorong industri-industri untuk mengembangkan ekstraksi emas selain dari bijih hasil penambangan. Salah satu sumber yang dapat dikembangkan adalah detox sludge emas. Untuk melakukan proses pirometalurgi emas, umumnya digunakan batu bara sebagai pemasok karbon untuk proses reduksi. Namun batu bara merupakan bahan bakar tidak terbarukan yang semakin lama akan semakin menipis. Karena itu dibutuhkan agen pereduksi pengganti batu bara. Salah satu biomassa yang sudah terbukti dapat menggantikan peran batu bara adalah cangkang kelapa sawit. Kandungan fixed carbon dan volatile matter yang ada dalam cangkang kelapa sawit dapat membentuk gas pereduksi oksida logam pada terak emas. Pada penelitian ini dicari tahu temperatur operasi yang cocok dalam proses reduksi logam-logam pengotor di detox sludge emas oleh arang cangkang kelapa sawit. Proses reduksi dilakukan pada muffle furnace selama 60 menit dengan perbandingan masa detox sludge emas dan arang cangkang kelapa sawit sebesar 1:2. Temperatur operasi yang diuji adalah 800oC, 900oC, dan 1000oC. untuk menghitung recovery, detox sludge emas dikarakterisasi dengan X-ray Diffraction (XRD) dan X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya proses reduksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan temperatur optimal untuk mendapatkan recovery logam oksida tertinggi didapatkan pada suhu 800oC.
......Gold is a precious metal that has many superiorities over other metals. Due to the wide application field of gold and the development of technology, the world’s demand for gold continues to increase. This increase has encouraged industries to develop gold extraction apart from mining ore. One source that can be developed is gold detox sludge. To carry out the gold pyrometallurgical process, coal is generally used as a supplier for the reduction process. However, coal is a non-renewable fuel that will be depleted over time. So, a renewable reducing agent is needed to replace coal. Biomass is a promising option. One of the proven biomasses that can replace the role of coal is palm kernel shells. The fixed carbon content and volatile matter in the palm kernel shell can form reducing gas for the metal oxides in the gold detox sludge. This research is trying to find the suitable operation temperature for the process of reducing the metal impurities in gold detox sludge by palm kernel shells char. The reduction process is carried out in a muffle furnace for 60 minutes with a ratio of 1:2 gold detox sludge and palm kernel shells char. Operating temperatures to be tested are 800oC, 900oC, and 1000oC. To calculate recovery, gold detox sludge was characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD) dan X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), before and after the reduction process. The results of this study indicate that the optimal temperature for obtaining the highest metal oxide recovery is obtained at a temperature of 800oC."

"Fenomena detoksifikasi Instagram merupakan fenomena kontemporer dimana pengguna menjauhi Instagram selama kurun waktu tertentu karena penggunaannya telah menjadi negatif bagi dirinya baik secara fisik maupun mental. Penelitian ini mencoba mengeksplorasi motivasi, refleksivitas pengalaman, dan pengaruh dari detoksifikasi Instagram terhadap konsumsi media sosial individu di masa depan. Menggunakan pendekatan analisis fenomenologi interpretatif (IPA) melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 3 individu yang mewakili generasi digital, peneliti menemukan bahwa partisipan memutuskan untuk melakukan detoksifikasi Instagram karena adanya paparan yang tinggi akan hidup orang lain melalui Instagram, adanya persepsi bahwa Instagram bukanlah ruang aman bagi partisipan, serta munculnya perasaan beban saat Instagram menjadi sebuah kewajiban. Selama proses refleksi pengalaman detoksifikasi Instagram, partisipan juga menemukan bahwa mereka tetap dapat menjalani hidupnya dengan baik tanpa Instagram, berhenti membandingkan hal yang sedang mereka sedang jalani, dan menyadari tidak ada hal-hal yang benar-benar mereka lewatkan. Partisipan juga mengembangkan pemaknaan yang lebih baik akan waktu, ruang, dan diri setelah selesainya periode detoksifikasi Instagram, sehingga dapat mengendalikan perilaku media sosialnya secara lebih sehat di masa depan
......Instagram detox is a relatively new phenomenon where Instagram users refrains from using Instagram for a certain period of time because it has negative effects on their mental and physical state. This thesis attempts to explore the motivation, reflective experience, and impact of Instagram detox to the participant’s future social media consumption. Using Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis approach through in-depth interviews with 3 participants who are part of digital natives, it was found that participants decide to do Instagram detox because there’s a high exposure to other people’s life through Instagram, a perception that Instagram is not their safe place, as well as a heavy feeling that comes when Instagram becomes an obligation. When reflecting about their Instagram detox experience, participants also found that they still live well without Instagram, stop comparing the things that they were experiencing, and realize that they did not really miss out on anything. Participants also develop a better sense of time, space, and self after Instagram detox period, thus they can control their future social media behavior in a healthier way."
