Industri Farmasi merupakan instansi yang berperan penting dalam menyediakan obat yang bermutu tinggi sesuai dengan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB). Apoteker berperan penting sebagai personil kunci di dalam industri farmasi, yaitu kepala bagian pemastian mutu (QA), kepala bagian pengawasan mutu (QC), dan kepala bagian produksi. Pengawasan terhadap industri farmasi beserta produknya dilakukan oleh BPOM. Dalam rangka memberikan gambaran mengenai penerapan CPOB dan peran apoteker dalam industri farmasi, maka dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi oleh calon apoteker pada salah satu industri farmasi, yaitu PT AstraZeneca Indonesia – Cikarang. Selama PKP, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperluas wawasan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi, terutama terkait penerapan CPOB. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah untuk menentukan penerapan batas waktu yang lebih ketat dalam manajemen deviasi di PT AstraZeneca Indonesia – Cikarang dan mengevaluasi kemungkinan penentuan batas waktu manajemen deviasi berdasarkan tingkat kekritisan deviasi dan ruang lingkup deviasi.

The Pharmaceutical Industry is an agency that plays an important role in providing high quality drugs in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB). Pharmacists play an important role as key personnel in the pharmaceutical industry, namely the head of quality assurance (QA), head of quality control (QC), and head of production. Supervision of the pharmaceutical industry and its products is carried out by BPOM. In order to provide an overview of the application of CPOB and the role of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry, the Professional Work Practices are carried out by prospective pharmacists in one of the pharmaceutical industries, namely PT AstraZeneca Indonesia - Cikarang. During PKP, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to broaden their horizons, skills, and practical experience in carrying out pharmaceutical work in the pharmaceutical industry, especially regarding the application of CPOB. The purpose of this special task is to determine the application of tighter time limits in deviation management at PT AstraZeneca Indonesia - Cikarang and evaluate the possibility of determining the time limit of deviation management based on the criticality of the deviation and the scope of the deviation.

Outbreaks of endemic diseases such as malaria, HIV, and dengue fever can spread quickly and can cost lives if not handled properly and quickly. In the case of malaria, there were still fatalities of 429,000 in 2015 based on WHO. This is due to the scarcity of medical experts to detect and diagnose the disease and the devices that are expensive and complicated to be operated. This causes high rate of malaria spread mostly found in the middle to lower class or remote areas such as West Papua. Detection technology using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method is one solution to speed up the diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to develop PCR kits that are easy to operate, portable, disposable, and low data requirement. This study focuses on the development of heating modules from PCR by utilizing the Joule Heating effect on silver. Silver ink is choosen as the heating material due to its good nature to be a heater and relatively has a low price and is easy to obtain. The specific purpose of this research is to carry out initial characteristics of the fabrication of miniheater from silver ink with stencil printing techniques. Miniheater is fed with voltage variations starting from 0.1-1.2 V DC and measuring the temperature produced. The deviation from printing is obtained at an average of 1.00mm with a deviation of ± 1.90%. on the width dimension, the electrode of the heater reaches 126 CO in 16 seconds at the 0.9 Volt DC input voltage."
