"ABSTRAK
Jurnalisme bencana adalah bagaimana media memberitakan bencana. Jurnalisme bencana menjadi bahasan penting dalam dunia jurnalistik karena Indonesia adalah negeri rentan bencana. Namun pemberitaan mengenai bencana oleh media massa di Indonesia selama ini selalu menuai kritik karena cenderung ditampilkan secara dramatis. Pemberitaan tersebut terbentuk lewat pemahaman subjektif jurnalis.
Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pemahaman jurnalis mengenai konsep jurnalisme bencana, dilihat dari proses peliputan bencana, pemahaman mengenai prinsip peliputan jurnalisme bencana, dan peliputan di tiap fase bencana. Peneliti menemukan bahwa jurnalis memahami mengenai konsep jurnalisme bencana dalam ranah kognitif.

ABSTRACT
Disaster journalism is how a mass media reports about disaster. Disaster journalism is very important topic because Indonesia is susceptible country of disaster. However, reporting of disaster by mass media has always criticized because there was dramatization tendency in journalism report. That reporting is established through a subjective understanding of journalist.
This research aims to determine the comprehension of journalist on the concept of disaster journalism, ranging from the process of disaster reporting, a comprehension of the principles of disaster reporting, and coverage in each phases of disaster. The research found that journalists has understanding about disaster journalism concept in the realm of cognitive."

Literary texts were no longer used in foreign-language classroom settings, once the grammar-translation method was excluded through other foreign-language teaching methods. These texts recovered significance several decades later in more advanced forms through communicative-language teaching methods. There are positive and negative aspects to using authentic literary text in the second language classroom context, but many language learners find associated benefits. Among the numerous positive aspects, the most important is that literature is authentic text. The use of it helps students gain important linguistic, cultural and personal insight into the language to learn."
