Abstrak :
Penelitian yang berjudul Peralihan Fungsi dan Peranan ABRI pada Pasca Reformasi , membahas mengenai peralihan fungsi ABRI dari masa Orde Baru ke masa Reformasi dan kebijakan-kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh ABRI dalam rangka memenuhi tuntutan masyarakat agar ABRI melakukan reformasi internal pasca runtuhnya Orde Baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa mundurnya militer dari politik tidak secara otomatis menjadikan militer profesional. Profesionalisme militer masih berada pada tataran kebijakan yang menghadapi kendala teknis implementasinya. ......The focus of this study is to explain the transition of ABRI function on the New Order era to the Reform era, moreover the policies which conducted by the ABRI in order to fulfill the demands from society that ABRI has to do internal reforms after the collapse of New Order. The method used in this study is the historical method consists of four stages: heuristic, critic, interpretation, and historiography. The result of this study is that the with drawal of the military from politics doesn’t automatically make professional military. The professionalism of military is still facing the obstacle of technical implementation.
