"ABSTRAK
Keselamatan dalam berkendara sangat dikembangkan oleh industri otomotif. Salah satu komponen yang memegang peranan penting dalam memberikan keselamatan bagi pengemudi saat berkendara adalah Vehicle Dynamics Control. Sistem ini biasa dikenal juga sebagai Vehicle Dynamics Control atau Electronic Stability Control semua jenis sistem ini diaplikasikan dalam sistem kendali untuk keselamatan dan berbeda nama sesuai industri otomotif yang membuatnya.Sistem VDC ini berfungsi ketika pengemudi yang sedang melaju cepat di jalanan meliku dan melakukan over steering dan under steering, mobil tetap dalam kestabilan tidak sampai menabrak sampai terbalik. Pada penelitian ini dibuat pengendalian mobil dengan cara mendeteksi dan menimalisir slip yang diberikan oleh torsi pada setiap ban menggunakan pengendali prediktif bertingkat. Sehingga ketika pengemudi kehilangan kontrol pengendalian maka dengan otomatis maka system ini akan melakukan pengereman secara otomatis. Pengereman otomatis akan berdasarkan perhitungan yaw rate kemudian memberikan perintah langsung ke masing masing roda. Roda depan akan mencegah terjadinya oversteer dan roda belakang akan mencegah terjadinya understeer.

ABSTRACT
Safety in driving highly developed by the automotive industry. One of the components that play an important role in providing safety for the driver while driving is the Vehicle Dynamics Control. This system is commonly known as Vehicle Dynamics Control or Electronic Stability Control all types of systems applied in control systems for safety and a different name as the automotive industry. The VDC system is functioning when the driver speeding on the street turn and perform over steering and under steering, the car remains in the stability not until crashing to the upside. This research is making the car control by detecting and minimizing slip given by the torque on each tire with multistage predictive controller . So that when the driver lost control then automatically controls the system will do the braking automaticly. The braking based on the calculation yaw rate then gave direct orders to each wheel. The front wheels will prevent oversteer and the rear wheels will prevent understeer."
