Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas tentang peran perusahaan sebagai sebuah yayasan dan komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA Sugar Group. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah melihat bahwa banyak dari organisasi sekolah yang diperankan oleh komite sekolah tidak berjalan lancar dalam mendukung kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasikan peran perusahaan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA Sugar Group, dengan melihat dari aspek admininistrasi, pendanaan pendidikan, program pendidikan, kurikulum, evaluasi guru, kepala sekolah, maupun murid, serta berbagai peraturan yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan di dalam sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji permasalahan dengan melihat dari stratifikasi dan diferensiasi sosial. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran perusahaan sebagai yayasan dapat terlihat dari pembentukan misi, visi, dan tujuan pendidikan dengan didukung oleh pemilihan tenaga pendidik, peserta didik dan kepala sekolah. Sedangkan perannya sebagai komite sekolah dapat terlihat dari aspek admininistrasi, pendanaan pendidikan, program pendidikan, kurikulum, evaluasi guru, kepala sekolah, maupun murid, serta berbagai peraturan yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan di dalam sekolah tersebut. Selain itu dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMA Sugar Group dapat terlihat dari persentase kelulusan pada 2 tahun terakhir, yang membuktikan bahwa pada hasil UAN siswa Sugar Group dapat berturut-turut mencetak angka kelulusan 100% tanpa adanya sistem pengatrolan nilai harian sekolah. Selanjutnya, daya serapnya ke perguruan tinggi negeri, banyak fakta yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMA Sugar Group mampu masuk ke perguruan tinggi, melalui jalur undangan maupun ujian tertulis. Terakhir prestasi siswa SMA Sugar Group tidak hanya terlihat dari bidang akademik saja, namun dalam bidang non-akademik pun siswa mampu mencetak prestasi dan penghargaan diberbagai bidang sebagai siswa dan sekolah berprestasi. Seperti penghargaan yang diraih oleh SMA Sugar Group, sebagai sekolah yang berhasil mengharumkan dunia pendidikan Provinsi Lampung dan Lampung Tengah sebagai juara dua dalam kompetisi Sekolah Sehat dan Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (LSS-UKS) 2010. ......This thesis describes the role of company as a foundation and the school committee on increasing the quality of education in Sugar Group high school. The background of this research is seen that many of the organization of a school that is played by the school committee does not run smoothly in support of infrastructure quality of education. The aim of this research is the company acknowledges role in improving the quality of education in high school sugar group, of the aspect of admininistrasi, with a look financing education, a program of education, curriculum, evaluation teacher, principal, as well as students, as well as various regulations applied by a company in the school. Research is also examine issues with a look of stratification and differentiation social. In addition, this research uses qualitative methods with an in-depth interview techniques. The results of research show that the role of the company as can be seen in the formation of the foundation's mission, vision, and goals with education supported by the election of educators, learners and school principal. While his role as school committee can be seen from the aspect of admininistration, funding of education, educational programs, curriculum, evaluation of teachers, principals, and students, as well as various regulations applied by the company in that school. Furthermore, in an increase in quality education in Sugar Group high school are visible from passing percentage in the last 2 years, which proved that the results of the Sugar Group student examination can be successive scoring passing 100 percent without any value daily school system. Next, retention to college land many fact indicating that high school students sugar group put ourselves into college, through the invitation and a written examination. Last achievement sugar group high school students not only seen from the academic field course, but in any fields non-academic students of a achievement and awards fields as student and school students. As the award achieved by sugar group high school, as a school who succeeded image of education lampung provincial and lampung central as the second was in competition healthy school and business school health ( LSS-UKS ) 2010.

This book reviews some of the major policy shifts in the education sector, analysing selected case study policies in order to articulate dominant discourses in recent policy-making which have helped establish a particular hegemony. The book?s originality lies in its policy analysis and case study base, whereby key policy texts across different sectors are dissected using the 'policy cycle' framework, allowing for an in depth analysis of the policy discourse as well as a discussion on how the neoliberal agenda was reflected and /or promoted. Islam mengajarkan umatnya untuk bersabar karena memiliki berbagai keistimewaan dan merupakan kunci kesuksesan seorang muslim. Dari literatur yang ada diketahui bahwa konsep diri dan stres merupakan pendukung perilaku sabar. Oleh karena itu perlu diketahui seberapa besar peranan konsep diri dan stres akademik terhadap perilaku sabar, apakah kedua variabel tersebut dapat meningkatkan perilaku sabar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan konsep diri dan stres akademik dengan perilaku sabar mahasiswa/i Kependidikan Islam UIN Jakarta. Desain penelitian ini adalah non-ekperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta metode penetapan sampling proporsional dan incidental. Regresi tinier digunakan untuk menganalisis data dengan bantuan program SPSS 10.1 for windows. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa-mahasiswi jurusan Kependidikan Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta dengan pertimbangan karena lulusan jurusan ini tidak hanya ditujukan sebagai pengajar tetapi juga sebagai manajer dan supervisi sekolah Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan wawancara. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 83 (delapan puluh tiga) responden dan wawancara yang sifatnya konfirmatif kepada 3 (tiga) responden. Wawancara yang sifatnya pelengkap juga dilakukan pada saat pembuatan alat ukur sabar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua dari tiga hipotesa alternatif dapat diterima. Pertama, Adanya peranan konsep dirt dengan perilaku sabar, artinya meningkatnya konsep diri diiringi terhadap peningkatan perilaku sabar. Kedua, tidak adanya peranan stres akademik terhadap perilaku sabar. Ketiga, Adanya peranan konsep diri bersama dengan stres akademik terhadap perilaku sabar. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan dan hasil analisa yang ada, peneliti memberikan beberapa saran untuk pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya dan perlunya pendidikan dan pelatihan sabar melalui program pengenalan diri dan pengendalian stres.
Islam teaches its devotees to be patient, a virtue that is the key to becoming a good Muslim Existing literature shows that self-concept and stress support patience; therefore, it is essential to know how big of a role self-concept and academic stress play in maintaining patience, and if those two variables can actually enhance one's level of patience. The objective of this research was to determine the role of self-concept and academic stress in the effort to cultivate patience among the students of Islamic Education at the State Islamic University of Jakarta (Jurusan Kependidikan Islam, Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta). Designed to be non-experimental, this research utilized a quantitative approach as well as proportional and incidental sampling methods. Linear regression was also used in analyzing the data acquired, with the support of SPSS 10.1 program for Windows. Students of Islamic Education at the State Islamic University of Jakarta (Jurusan Kependidikan Islam, Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta) were the target of this research. The thought behind this particular choice was the fact that graduates of the aforementioned program are not only expected to become educators, but also managers and supervisors of Islamic schools. The data for this research was gathered through questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaires were distributed among 83 (eighty-three) respondents, and 3 (three) respondents were personally interviewed to further confirm the questionnaire results. Additional interviews were conducted while formulizing a method to measure patience. The outcome of this research affirmed two out of three hypotheses. First, self-concept plays a role in the cultivation of patience: the better one's self-concept is, the higher his/her level of patience will be. Second, academic stress doesn't affect one's patience. Third, the combination of self-concept and academic stress can have an impact on one's patience. Based on the analysis and conclusion reached, the researcher offered several suggestions for further study and advocated enhancing patience through self realization and stress management programs.
