"ABSTRAK
Pada proses engraving penggunaan laser berdaya tinggi marak digunakan saat ini. Laser daya tinggi yang sering digunakan adalah laser gas seperti CO2, Nd:YaG dan laser diode. Laser diode memiliki beberapa kekurangan diantaranya sudut divergensi lebar, astigmatisme dan beam profile yang tidak ideal yang berbentuk elips. Kekurangan tersebut menyebabkan kualitas beam profile yang buruk. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan koreksi beam pada output diode untuk mengurangi rasio elips yang dimilikinya. Metode koreksi yang umum dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan dua lensa silinder untuk melakukan koreksi pada sumbu horisontal dan vertikal.Pada tesis ini telah dikembangkan metode koreksi output beam berbasis pada ray tracing analysis untuk menghitung struktur susunan lensa yang meliputi pengaturan fokus dan jarak antara lensa ndash; lensa silinder yang digunakan untuk mengurangi rasio elips serta lensa pemfokus untuk mendapatkan ukuran beam yang diinginkan. Hasil experiment terhadap metode koreksi beam diamati melalui dua cara yaitu; 1 pengamatan burning spot dengan mikroskop digital dan 2 menghitung hasil foto menggunakan MATLAB. Hasil kedua metode ini menunjukan pengurangan rasio elips. Pengurangan rasio elips dari 1.43 menjadi 1.14 pada pengamatan burning spot. Selain itu, dilakukan pula karakterisasi kebutuhan intensitas terhadap waktu pembakaran beberapa objek material.

ABSTRACT
In the process of engraving the use of high power lasers are rife in use today. The most commonly used high power lasers are gas lasers such as CO2, Nd YaG and also semiconductor, laser diodes. Laser diodes have some disadvantages such as wide divergence angles, astigmatism and elliptical beam profile. These deficiencies cause poor beam profile quality. Therefore it is necessary to do beam correction at the output diode to reduce the ratio of the ellipse it has. A common method of correction is to use two cylindrical lenses to correct the horizontal and vertical axes.In this paper use this ray tracing method for focus setting, the distance on the cylinder lenses and the focusing lens are used to reduce the ellipse ratio and obtain the desired beam size. The experimental results of the beam correction method were observed in two ways 1 observation of spot burning with digital microscope and 2 calculate the result of photo using MATLAB. The results of both methods show a reduction in the elliptical ratio. The reduction of the ellipse ratio is from 1.43 to 1.14 on the observation of burning. In addition, there is also characterization of the need for intensity to burning time of some material objects."

"Bagian midship kapal adalah bagian yang mengalami pembebanan yang paling intggi saat kapal berlayar. Pada kapal tanker, dibutuhkan ketahanan pelat berpenegar yang kuat supaya saat kapal beroperasi, kapal dapat membawa muatannya dengan aman. Pembebanan yang biasanya terjadi pada kapal adalah sagging dan hogging di mana beban tersebut termasuk kategori beban siklik dan dapat mengakibatkan kegagalan lelah. Penelitian ini berfkous pada analisis ketahanan lelah dalam studi pengaruh posisi semi eliptical crack pada pelat berpenegar dengan profil konventional T dan novel Y. Semi elliptical crack ditempatkan pada bagian tengah pelat, seperempat jarak dari profil, dan berdekatan dengan profil. Simulasi pembebanan dilakukan dengan metode numerik dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ANSYS untuk memprediksi ketahanan lelahnya. Hasil menunjukan bahwa crack di tengah profil memiliki ketahan lelah yang terburuk sehingga memiliki umur lelah yang pendek dibandingkan posisi crack yang lain.

The ship 39 s midship section is the part that experiences the most loads while sailing. For tankers, it is necessary to have high fatigue endurance in the ship structure especially on the stiffend panel so that the ship can carry its load cargo safely. The loads that generely experienced by the midship are sagging and hogging. This load is categorized as cyclic load which can result in fatigue failure. This study focuses on the analysis of fatigue resistance in the study of the effect of semi eliptical crack position on the stiffened panels with conventional profile of T and novel profile of Y. Semi elliptical cracks are positioned on the center of the plate, a quarter distance from the profile , and adjacent to the profile. The simulation of loading uses ANSYS to predict its fatigue resistance. The result shows that the crack in the middle of the plate has the worst fatigue resistance which results in having a short fatigue life compared to the other crack."

Setiap peristiwa, objek, atau individu dalam kehidupan saling terkait dan saling mempengaruhi. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara variabel acak dapat menggunakan copula. Copula dapat menghubungkan antara fungsi distribusi bivariat dengan fungsi distribusi marginal tanpa harus ada informasi keterkaitan tertentu antar variabel acak. Terdapat beberapa jenis copula, seperti copula elliptical, copula Archimedean, dan copula extreme value. Namun, dalam pemodelan multivariat, masing-masing jenis copula memiliki keterbatasan dalam memodelkan struktur ketergantungan yang kompleks dalam hal simetri dan sifat ketergantungan ekor. Kelas vine copula mengatasi keterbatasan ini dengan membangun model multivariat menggunakan copula bivariat dalam struktur berbentuk pohon. Copula bivariat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi keluarga copula Clayton, Gumbel, Frank, Gaussian, dan student’s t. Penelitian ini membahas tentang konstruksi model vine copula, penaksiran parameter, dan aplikasinya. Konstruksi vine copula dilakukan melalui dekomposisi fungsi kepadatan peluang bersyarat dan melakukan substitusi fungsi kepadatan  copula bivariat ke dalam hasil dekomposisi tersebut. Data yang digunakan adalah data logaritma konsentrasi dari unsur kimia dalam sampel air di Colorado. Karena data yang digunakan merupakan data empiris yang tidak diketahui distribusi marginalnya, metode estimasi parameter yang digunakan adalah pseudo-maximum likelihood dengan estimasi sequential. Lalu, dilakukan pemilihan model yang paling sesuai dengan menggunakan kriteria informasi Akaike (AIC). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Sesium dan Titanium memiliki hubungan dependensi terhadap Skandium. Selain itu, Skandium dan Titanium memiliki ketergantungan paling kuat dibandingkan dengan pasangan variabel lainnya.


Every event, object, or individual in life is interconnected and influences each other. To understand the relationships between random variables, one can use copulas. Copula can link the bivariate distribution function with marginal distribution functions without requiring specific information about the interdependence among random variables. There are several types of copulas, such as elliptical copulas, Archimedean copulas, and extreme value copulas. However, in multivariate modeling, each type of copula has limitations in modeling complex dependence structures in terms of symmetry and tail dependence properties. The class of vine copulas overcomes these limitations by constructing multivariate models using bivariate copulas in a tree-like structure. The bivariate copulas used in this study include the Clayton, Gumbel, Frank, Gaussian, and Student’s t copula families. This study discusses the construction of vine copula models, parameter estimation, and their applications. The construction of vine copulas is done through the decomposition of conditional probability density functions and substituting bivariate copula density functions into the decomposition results. The data used in the study is the logarithm of the concentration of chemical elements in water samples in Colorado. Since the data used are empirical data with unknown marginal distributions, the parameter estimation method used is pseudo-maximum likelihood with sequential estimation. Model selection is then performed using the Akaike information criterion (AIC) to determine the most suitable model. The results indicate that Caesium and Titanium have a dependency relationship with Scandium. Moreover, Scandium and Titanium exhibit the strongest dependence compared to other variable pairs.
