"Contractor Health Environment and Safety Management (CHESM), yang merupakan aplikasi peraturan pemerintah Indonesia BPMIGAS PTK-007 dan BPMIGAS PTK-013-K3LL sebagai upaya pencegahan kecelakaan terhadap pekerja kontraktor. Pemegang kontrak (contract owner) merupakan pihak yang memiliki tanggung jawab, fungsi, dan berperan aktif dalam pelaksanaan CHESM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan menganalisis tingkat pemahaman pengetahuan kerja (job knowledge) para pemegang kontrak serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan sehingga dapat mendukung penciptaan ?Zero is Attainable? di PT CI. Penelitian ini bersifat semi kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman job knowledge para contract owner di PT CI tergolong rendah. Penegasan fungsi dan tanggung jawab, pelatihan secara berkala serta pemilihan pemegang kontrak sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan oleh perusahaan perlu dilakukan sehingga tujuan utama CHESM dapat tercapai. ......The Contractor of Health Environment and Safety Management (CHESM) which is an application of the Indonesian Government Regulations: BPMigas PTK-007 (oil & gas procurement guideline) and BPMIGAS PTK-013-K3LL (oil & gas CSMS guideline) as an effort to prevent accidents happening to the employees of the contractor. The contract owner is the party that bears the responsibility, has the function, and plays an active role in the implementation of CHESM. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the level of understanding of the job knowledge of contract owners and provide recommendations to achieve "Zero is Attainable" program at PT CI. This is a semi quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. The result of the study revealed the low level of understanding of the job knowledge of contract owners at PT CI. Affirmation of the functions and responsibilities, regular training and the selection of the owner in accordance with the contract specifications that have been determined by the company must be done in order to achieve the main objectives of CHESM."
