"This book focuses on the different steps involved in the conception, implementation and application of EDAs that use Markov networks, and undirected models in general. It can serve as a general introduction to EDAs but covers also an important current void in the study of these algorithms by explaining the specificities and benefits of modeling optimization problems by means of undirected probabilistic models.

"Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah usaha untuk menunjukkan adanya proses ko-evolusi di antara perusahaan-perusahaan dalam industri tekstil dan pakaian di Indonesia, dengan pemerintah sebagai perwakilan dari lembaga lokal. Hasil dari riset menunjukkan bahwa seiringnya waktu, perubahan dalam lembaga lokal telah terjadi dalam industri yang di jelaskan oleh beberapa faktor regulasi dan juga kondisi perekonomian negara yang turut berkontribusi dalam kecepatan proses ko-evolusi tersebut. Sebuah fokus dari beberapa kasus seperti: penerapan kebijakan; krisis moneter di Indonesia, dan perkembangan teknologi telah disediakan sebagai pendukung argumen. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa proses ko-evolusi melalui adaptasi bersama diantara pelaku dapat mempercepat dan telah berkontribusi dalam perkembangan ekonomi negara secara keseluruhan.

This research is an exploratory attempt to show the co-evolutionary relationship between Indonesian firms in the textile and garment industry, and the local government as a representative of local institutions. The result shows that institutional changes occurred within the industry were driven by several regulated factors and the country's economic condition affected the speed of co-evolution. A focus on cases such as: various policy implementations, Indonesian monetary crisis, and technological development are provided for further support. This research shows that co-evolutionary process by mutual adaptation between the actors enables faster and overall economic growth of the country in general."

"Supplier dan manufacturer merupakan pihak-pihak yang memainkan peranan penting dalam industri manufaktur. Kedua pihak tersebut melakukan relasi perdagangan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan. Relasi perdagangan yang mereka lakukan dapat berupa kompetisi atau kooperasi. Namun dalam skripsi ini, relasi yang akan dipelajari lebih jauh adalah relasi kooperasi, atau dapat disebut sebagai relasi kerjasama. Kerjasama yang dimaksud merupakan kerjasama dalam melaksanakan sistem green purchasing.
Melalui skripsi ini, kecenderungan kerjasama antara supplier dan manufacturer akan diamati dan dipelajari dengan menggunakan Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT) dalam kaitannya dengan green purchasing. Dengan menggunakan EGT, akan dibentuk sebuah model evolutionary game yang bertujuan untuk mengamati kecenderungan kerjasama antara supplier dan manufacturer. Kecenderungan kerjasama antara supplier dan manufacturer yang dimaksud dalam hal ini merupakan keputusan yang dihasilkan, yakni bekerjasama atau tidak bekerjasama dalam melaksanakan sistem green purchasing, dari kombinasi strategi yang digunakan oleh supplier dan manufacturer itu sendiri.
Dalam skripsi ini, kerjasama antara supplier dan manufacturer pun akan diamati melalui suatu simulasi percobaan. Dengan menggunakan model evolutionary game yang dibentuk dan berdasarkan simulasi percobaan tersebut, akan diketahui variabel-variabel apa saja yang terlibat dalam permasalahan dalam skripsi ini serta dengan nilai-nilai variabel seperti apa yang kemungkinan dapat membuat supplier dan manufacturer bersedia untuk bekerjasama.

Suppliers and manufacturers have significant roles in manufacturing industry. They are involved in a trading relationship in order to obtain profit in economic viewpoint. The trading relationship can be a competition or a cooperation. In this essay, the trading relationship that will be studied further is cooperation. This relationship is called cooperation relation. Cooperation that is meant here is cooperation in implementing green purchasing system.
In this essay, the cooperation tendency between suppliers and manufacturers will be analyzed by using Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT). By using EGT, an evolutionary game model is developed to observe the cooperation tendency between suppliers and manufacturers. The cooperation tendency between suppliers and manufacturers that is meant here is the decision that is obtained, which is to cooperate or not to cooperate in implementing green purchasing system, from the combination of strategies that are used by suppliers and manufacturers themselves.
In this essay, the cooperation tendency between suppliers and manufacturers will also be analyzed by conducting an experiment. Based on the evolutionary game model that is developed and the outcomes that are obtained from the experiment, the variables that are involved in this cooperation tendency problem which is being discussed in this essay and their approximated values that can make suppliers and manufacturers cooperate will be known.
