"Kegiatan operasi serah terima LNG skema Cost Insurance and Freight dengan sistem alat ukur tangki terapung dinilai belum akurat, selamat, dan handal. Maka dilakukan studi kelaikan teknis sistem coriolis mass flow meter yang memiliki beberapa kelebihan dibandingkan sistem alat ukur tipe lainnya. Penggunaan sistem coriolis mass flow meter dengan akurasi ±0,015% dan ketidakpastian pengukuran ±0,050% dapat mengurangi losses energi yang diserahkan akibat akurasi alat ukur sebesar ±77 MMBtu atau ±0,003% dan losses akibat ketidakpastian pengukuran sebesar ±8.267 MMBtu atau ±0,28% untuk 1 (satu) kali pengapalan, serta meningkatkan risk ranking dari acceptable with control menjadi acceptable as is. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan losses dan Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis, sistem coriolis mass flow meter lebih akurat, selamat, dan handal dibandingkan sistem alat ukur tangki terapung.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) custody transfer in Cost Insurance and Freight by using custody transfer measurement system is identified not accurate, safe, and reliable. Hence the engineering feasibility study of coriolis mass flow meter that has several advantages than others has been hold. The using of coriolis mass flow meter with accuracy about ±0,015% and uncertainty about ±0,050% can minimize losses of energy transferred that caused by accuracy of measurement about ±77 MMBtu or ±0,003% and losses that caused by uncertainty about ±8.267 MMBtu or ±0,28% for each shipping, then optimize risk ranking from acceptable with control into acceptable as is. Based on losses calculation and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis, coriolis mass flow meter is more accurate, safe, and reliable compare with custody transfer measurement system.

"Proyeksi peningkatan permintaan dari produk keramik di dunia termasuk Indonesia membuat persaingan di Industri keramik semakin ketat sehingga menuntut perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produknya secara efektif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, banyak perusahaan sudah menerapkan konsep lean yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi. PT Doulton merupakan salah satu perusahaan penghasil keramik di Indonesia yang merupakan bagian dari FISKARS Group. Salah satu departemen di perusahaan ini yaitu flat-making department harus mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapinya saat ini yaitu rendahnya Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) mesin dikarenakan tingginya waktu setup pada saat pergantian item. Implementasi Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) bertujuan untuk mengurangi waktu setup dengan mengkonversi kegiatan setup internal menjadi eksternal. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan secara teori, implementasi SMED dapat mengurangi waktu setup sebesar 56,74 menit atau 53,3% dari waktu semula menjadi 49,7 menit untuk 1 tool setup dan 54,4 menit atau 46,76% dari waktu semula menjadi 61,86 menit untuk 3 tools setup yang dapat dijadikan acuan untuk target waktu setup perusahaan. Kemudian, dilakukan analisis kegagalan yang mungkin terjadi pada proses produksi flat-making untuk diberikan rekomendasi perbaikan agar dapat meningkatkan nilai OEE departemen secara keseluruhan.

The projected increase in demand for ceramics products in the world, including Indonesia, makes the competition in the ceramics industry increasingly tight, which requires companies to produce their products more effectively and efficiently. In order to do that, many companies have implemented lean concepts that aim to increase production efficiency. PT Doulton is one of the ceramics producing companies in Indonesia which is part of FISKARS Group. One of the departments in this company, namely the flat-making department, has to overcome the problem it currently faces, which is low Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of its machines due to the high setup time. Implementation of Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) aims to reduce setup time by converting internal setup activities to external ones. Based on the theoretical calculation results, SMED implementation can reduce setup time by 56.74 minutes or 53.3% from the original time to 49.7 minutes for 1 tool setup and 54.4 minutes or 46.76% from the original time to 61, 86 minutes for 3 setup tools. This calculation can be used as a reference for the company's setup time target. Then, an analysis of failures that may occur in the flat- making production process is carried out to provide recommendations for improvement in order to increase the department’s OEE as a whole."

"Mesin bantu pada kapal berfungsi untuk menyediakan tenaga guna menggerakan generator penghasil utama listrik pada kapal. Melihat pentingnya peran dari Auxiliary Engine ini maka perlu diperhatikan perawatan mesin agar terhindar dari kegagalan. Perawatan di suatu industri merupakan salah satu faktor yang penting dalam mendukung suatu proses produksi yang mempunyai daya saing di pasaran. Plan Maintenance System PMS merupakan sistem perawatan terencana yang dilakukan berkala untuk mengurangi tejadinya kegagalan dan mempermudah dalam memantau kinerja mesin. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa menggunakan metode FMEA Failure Mode and Effetcs Analisys dengan menghitung nilai RPN Risk Priority Number beberapa komponen penting pada Auxiliary Engine. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisa tersebut dapat dijadikan acuan dalam merancang PMS Plan Maintenance System. Hasil rancangan PMS Plan Maintenance System ini direkomendasikan penulis untuk diterapkan dalam perawatan mesin bantu pada Kapal Tipe K.

Auxiliary Engine on a ship has function to supply power for moving a generator which produce the electricity. Base on its function, it need to be concerned over the treatment of the Auxiliary Engine in order to avoid failures. Maintenance in industrial field is one of important factor to support the production process for increasing competitiveness in the market. PMS Plan Maintennace System is a periodical maintenance system which planned to decrease failures of the engine and make people easier to monitor its peformance. In this research, some components on Auxiliary Engine will be analyzed by FMEA Failure Mode and Effetcs Analisys metode and calculate RPN Risk Priority Number to know which one the most effect failure of Auxiliary Engine. Based on the result, researcher designed PMS Plan Maintenance System to applied in Auxiliary Engine's maintenance system."

"Semakin ketatnya persaingan industri daur ulang plastik merupakan suatu tantangan untuk meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan. Daya saing tersebut dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi. Pada penelitian kali ini, konsep Lean Manufacturing menggunakan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) diimplementasikan pada perusahaan daur ulang plastik. Diharapkan dengan mengurangi pemborosan, efisiensi produksi dapat ditingkatkan. Penggunaan Value Stream Mapping bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran secara menyeluruh sehingga dapat mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang ada pada lini produksi. Kemudian seperangkat solusi akan dicari untuk memperoleh usulan dalam mengurangi aktivitas yang bersifat non-value added secara menyeluruh. Bedasarkan hasil perhitungan secara teori, pengurangan aktivitas non-value added mampu mempersingkat waktu proses produksi PET Flakes yang sebelumnya 5045,42 detik menjadi 4953,48 detik. Serta dapat dijadikan acuan bagi industri dalam mempersiapkan diri terhadap peningkatan permintaan produksi di masa mendatang.

Increasing competition in the plastiks recycling industri is a challenge to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. Such competitiveness can be increased by increasing production efficiency. In this study, the concept of Lean Manufacturing using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is implemented in plastik recycling companies. It is hoped that by reducing waste, production efficiency can be increased. The use of Value Stream Mapping aims to get a comprehensive picture so that it can identify waste in the production line. Then a set of solutions will be sought to obtain suggestions for reducing non-value added activities as a whole. Based on the theoretical calculation results, the reduction of non-value added activities is able to shorten the time of the PET Flakes production process previously 5045.42 seconds to 4953.48 seconds. This research can be used as a reference for the industri in preparing itself for increased production demand in the future."

"Permintaan pelumas di Indonesia setiap tahun semakin meningkat, dan saat ini sudah mencapai 1,3KL/tahun. Namun, kemampuan dalam negeri hanya mampu memproduksi sekitar 900 ribu KL/tahun. Pemegang pangsa pasar terbesar di Indonesia untuk industri pelumas adalah PT. Pertamina Lubricants, sebesar 58%. Untuk memenuhi permintaan tersebut, Unit Produksi PT. Pertamina Lubricants harus memiliki sistem produksi yang efektif dan efisien. Salah satu metode untuk menganalisis tingkat efektivitas suatu mesin atau lini produksi adalah dengan menggunakan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). PT. Pertamina Lubricants menetapkan target OEE sebesar 70%. Namun, selama Januari 2021 hingga Juli 2021, OEE tertinggi hanya mencapai 67%. Dalam penelitian ini, studi komprehensif dilakukan di Production Unit Jakarta (PUJ) PT. Pertamina Lubricants untuk mencari faktor utama penyebab rendahnya nilai efektifitas khususnya pada filling line 04 (FL-04). Nilai OEE tertinggi diperoleh pada Agustus 2021 hingga Februari 2022 hanya mencapai 69,05%. Kerugian signifikan utama di FL-04 adalah Idling and Minor Stop Losses, serta Setup and Adjustment Losses, berdasarkan teori Six Big Loss dan Diagram Pareto. Akar masalah ditemukan dengan menggunakan diagram Fishbone. Penilaian Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) dilakukan sebagai saran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas PUJ. Sepuluh solusi diusulkan berdasarkan sepuluh mode kegagalan. Beberapa solusi sementara diterapkan di PUJ selama kurang lebih tiga minggu, dan ditemukan bahwa nilai OEE pada FL-04 setelah perbaikan sedikit meningkat sekitar 2% dari rata-rata nilai OEE dari Agustus 2021 hingga Februari 2022.

The demand for lubricants in Indonesia is increasing every year, and now it has reached 1.3KL/year. However, the domestic capability is only capable of producing around 900 thousand KL/year. The largest market share holder in Indonesia for the lubricant industry is PT. Pertamina Lubricants, by 58%. To meet the demand, the Production Unit of PT. Pertamina Lubricants must have an effective and efficient production system. One of the methods to analyze the level of effectiveness of a machine or production line is to use Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). PT. Pertamina Lubricants set an OEE target of 70%. However, during January 2021 to July 2021, the highest OEE only reached 67%. In this research, a comprehensive study was conducted at the Production Unit Jakarta (PUJ) of PT. Pertamina Lubricants to seek the main factors that cause the low value of the effectiveness, especially in filling line 04 (FL-04). The highest OEE value obtained from August 2021 to February 2022 only reached 69.05%. The main significant losses in FL-04 are Idling and Minor Stop Losses, and Setup and Adjustment Losses, based on the theory of Six Big Losses and Pareto Diagrams. The root of the problem was found using the Fishbone diagram. The Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) assessment was made for suggestions to improve the effectiveness in PUJ. Ten solutions were proposed based on ten failure modes. Several temporary solutions were implemented at PUJ for about three weeks, and it was found that the OEE value on FL-04 after the repair was a slight increase of about 2% from the average OEE value from August 2021 to February 2022.
